I just find it interesting that there are no comments on the Audio I posted. I will take that to mean the 48 who viewed this page have likely listened and I pray are in contemplation over the truth. My thoughts are that those who call themselves Jews but are not would be Edomites. At the time Yashua was speaking to the leaders, that’s what the majority of the Pharisees were (and also king Herod). They said that Abraham was their father, which he was, and that they had not gone into captivity, which they hadn’t, but Israel did. So they're saying they are children of Abraham but not children of Jacob.

I don’t support the Zionists (who may well be Edomites also, you’ve heard Barry Chamish right?) but do believe God has used them to bring the Jews back to Judah where he will work out his plan for them.

Good verses Murray (Romans 11). God has not forgotten his people. He has a plan for them. I have a question for you, in the verses you quoted, God says “he will make them one nation and they shall be no more two nations.” They won’t be divided into two kingdoms any more. What do you think he means by that? It's a very important part of the story.

There’s another verse that speaks of that as well. It’s in Jeremiah 50, which is about the fall of Babylon. It says Israel will return to the land at the time that Babylon falls.

4 In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God. 5 They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten. 6 My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.

Did you know that the house of Israel was dispersed to the north around the Black Sea by the Assyrians 136 years before Judah was taken to Babylon? A remnant of Judah returned 70 years later but Israel never did and they have not been seen again. They have been gone so long that they forgot who they were and where they came from. No one else knows for certain either although some interesting research has been done on this.

The people who have come back to the land of Israel are mainly from the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, and some of the Levites and we have always known who they are, with a few exceptions. They are from the people who were dispersed after the fall of the temple in 70 AD.

I think that our not knowing who is being talked about is one of the things that makes it difficult for us to understand what the bible is telling us. Any thoughts from the forum?
