While the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee is set to hear both Christine Blasey Ford and Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh on Thursday, over her claim that 35 or 36 years ago, at a party that consisted of five people, Kavanaugh attempted to sexually assault her, now it appears her lawyers are still not happy with the arrangements.

BRIEF RECAP

As of now, all three other "witnesses" that Ford named have denied the get together or party ever occurred that involved the five people Ford claimed was present, including herself and Kavanaugh. One of those people is a female "longtime friend" of Ford's, but states she has no recollection of attending any get together that Kavanaugh was present at.

Now the New Yorker has come out with a "grossly irresponsible" article claiming another woman is making allegations against Kavanaugh, even though the woman has admitted to friends that she cannot be sure it was Kavanaugh, and nobody can corroborate the incident, nor that Kavanaugh was even in attendance.

Massive case of deja vu here.................



UPDATED INFORMATION ON THIS WHOLE CLOWN SHOW

Since ANP's Sunday update on this Ford/Kavanaugh saga, a lot has happened. The media claimed the accuser, Ford, agreed to testify on Thursday, after the Judiciary Committee chairman Charles Grassley bent over backwards to offer multiple delays and concessions to Ford and her attorneys, while rejecting their unreasonable demands.

One of Ford's demands that Grassley rejected was that the Senators on the Judiciary committee be the ones asking the questions of Ford and Kavanaugh. As observers of congressional hearings can attest to, Senators tend to want to grandstand, make speeches, rather than question and listen to the answers of the witnesses. 

Plus, the nature of the hearing to hear from someone claiming to have been assaulted, and someone vehemently denying those claims, indicates a need to have a professional be the one asking the questions, to avoid a circus like atmosphere as we saw with the original Kavanaugh confirmation hearings.

It appears even those reports that she "agreed" were conditional and not totally accurate as we see that her attorneys are now complaining bitterly over the fact that the Judiciary committee plans to have an "Experienced Sex Crimes Prosecutor" do the questioning of both Kavanaugh and Ford.

Judge Kavanaugh also wrote to the Senate Judiciary Committee, responding to the newer claims, calling them "smears, pure and simple, and maintaining that he looks "forward to answering questions from the Senate on Thursday," in order to clear his name.

Once again we note the difference in tone. As Blasey Ford's attorneys have consistently asked for delays, and have complained about the Judiciary's scheduled hearings, and format, forcing delay after delay, Judge Kavanaugh has consistently stated he was ready to testify on any date the Judiciary committee asked him to.

Democrats, who have been trying to delay the Kavanaugh confirmation vote since day one, are now using the uncorroborated New Yorker report to demand yet more delays, but as of Monday night, and a notice sent out by the committee, the meeting will take place as scheduled on Thursday, 10:00 am ET.

"Dr. Ford has said she wants to share her story," said a GOP committee aide. "She will have a chance to do that on Thursday, and Judge Kavanaugh will have a chance to respond. Uncorroborated, thinly-sourced claims should not deprive them of that opportunity."

That is assuming of course that Ford even shows up for her testimony, which many on social media think she may not and others thinking she never really intended to in the first place, because the entire thing has been put forward, backed by Democratic politicians, to delay Judge Kavanaugh's confirmation until it is too late for him to join the next session of the Supreme Court after he is confirmed.

These latest objections by Ford's attorneys come on the heels of reports that Judge Kavanaugh kept calendars from his high school years, documenting events, including other gatherings he attended, which he is prepared to hand over to congress as the gathering Ford describes is not listed. 

Reminder: Senator Diane Feinstein sat on the Ford letter for approximately six weeks before revealing it to the majority on the committee. Then it took another week for the committee chairman to compel Feinstein to share the letter with them, and now there are even serious questions being asked about the original letter itself.

On Monday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnel blasted Senate Democrats in a speech on the floor of the Senate and at the end, he stated "I want to make it perfectly clear Mr. President (addressing the president of the session), Judge Kavanaugh will be voted on, here on the Senate floor, up or down. "




BOTTOM LINE - GOING FORWARD

If Blasey Ford shows up on Thursday, the committee hearing will go forward, hearing from her first, then giving Judge Kavanaugh a chance to rebut her testimony, despite the requests by her lawyers that the Judge be forced to testify before even hearing her official testimony.

Following that, according to multiple reports, the committee could vote by the end of the week, to recommend Judge Kavanaugh to a full senate floor vote. Those same reports indicate that even if the committee fails to make a recommendation, Senate Majority Leader McConnell could still bring the vote to the floor for the full senate to vote on, which explains his assertion in the video above that there will be a vote for Kavanaugh.

The CIA is one of the major extensions of America’s part of the international Deep State, the few thousand U.S. billionaires, who are the only people that actually control U.S. foreign policies. They also control the nation’s major news-media so that their foreign policies — such as the invasion of Iraq in 2003 and the invasion of Libya in 2011 — will be supported by enough Americans in order to re-elect the politicians, such as Hillary Clinton, who had voted for or otherwise enabled those invasions. On September 23rd, Craig Murray, the former UK Ambassador who quit the UK’s foreign services as a whistleblower against the Deep State, reported a brazen fabrication by the onetime-progressive British newspaper the Guardian, a smear which had been targeted against both Julian Assange and the Government of Russia, and which aimed at continuing to hide the Deep State’s ongoing aggressions against Russia and against governments that are friendly toward Russia. Arizona Engineer Challenges “Constitution-Free” Border Checkpoints After Being Stopped 400 Times

A lawsuit filed by University of Arizona engineer Terry Bressi is the latest round in an ongoing battle that border residents have been waging against the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and its “citizenship checkpoints.”
Just before July 4th, Terry Bressi filed a revision to his complaint against the Pima County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD.)
In April 2017 Bressi was detained for hours at the CBP SR 86 checkpoint, located halfway between Tuscon and the Kitt Peak National Observatory where Bressi works.
Bressi is no stranger to both CBP and PCSD, both having stopped and detained him on multiple occasions since 2002.

Despite the fact that Bressi is known to both organizations as a U.S. citizen with no history of smuggling or other criminal activity, they continued to detain the man over and over again.
Why the random constant stops and harassment? Because Bressi has dared to challenge the legality and legitimacy of domestic “Constitution-Free” checkpoints on American citizens like himself.
Bressi first filed a lawsuit in 2002 against the Tono O’Odham tribal police and CBP for a stop that turned into a multi-hour detention without any probable cause. The tribal police eventually settled the case for $210,000.
However, Bressi’s victory came with pitfalls through the efforts of the CBP union to get him fired from his job.
The PCSD and CBP have continued targeting Bressi for stops and de-facto illegal, roadside detentions, with the latest incident occurring in April 2017, a trigger to his current lawsuit.
Bressi estimates he has been stopped at the Border Patrol checkpoint on State Route 86 near Three Points more than an absurd 400 times, because he can’t avoid the checkpoint on his way home from working at Kitt Peak.
This type of behavior by Border Patrol agents harassing U.S. citizens is sadly not rare, it seems to be quite common. It is worrying to say the least.
In March, earlier this year, a man was harassed for standing up against Border Patrol by filing a lawsuit after he discovered that Border Patrol agents had illegally placed a camera on his property that gave them access to 24/7 surveillance of his land. That wasn’t all, they threatened to arrest him if he did not comply and return their camera that was placed on his fence, Activist Post reported.
Then in July, Activist Post reported on a video that surfaced online showing an altercation between a Mexican Border Patrol officer, Joel Lopez, impersonating a police officer and pulling over a Mexican doctor, Christian Hernandez, an hour within the border without a radar detector present in his vehicle, claiming the man was speeding during what he claimed was an “immigration inspection.”
Subsequently, Hernandez claimed that he just passed him on the highway when the federal agent followed him and Hernandez started recording Lopez.
This all may be due to the fact that at least 5,000 Border Patrol agents are being outsourced to Accenture, an international contractor.
Last year the agency struggled to fill positions after failing to bring on more border agents than it loses in a given year, according to a report that was released by the Department of Homeland Security.
However, another report by the Washington Times contradicts this claim by stating that the decrease in border crossings has surged back to Obama-era levels.
DHS announced a 14 percent increase over the number of people it brought on the previous year. Most of those hires were for CBP officer positions, which saw a 21 percent spike in recruiting efforts.
The Border Patrol apprehended 311,000 individuals in fiscal 2017 and CBP officers rejected 216,000 inadmissible cases, totaling nearly a 24 percent decline from the previous year.
The ACLU has filed multiple complaints in recent years for people concerned about treatment at checkpoints.

Outdated Legal Authority and Lack of Oversight

• The regulations establishing the 100-mile border zone were adopted by the U.S. Department of Justice in 1953—without any public comments or debate. At the time, there were fewer than 1,100 Border Patrol agents nationwide; today, there are over 21,000.
  
• The Border Patrol often ignores this regulation and rejects any geographic limitation on agents’ authority. At least two federal circuit courts condone Border Patrol operations outside the 100-mile zone, federal regulations and Supreme Court precedent notwithstanding.
  
• Federal border agents are stopping, interrogating, and searching Americans on an everyday basis with absolutely no suspicion of wrongdoing, and often in ways that our Constitution does not permit.
  
• For example, Border Patrol, according to news reports, operates approximately 170 interior checkpoints throughout the country (the actual number in operation at any given time is not publicly known). The ACLU believes that these checkpoints amount to dragnet, suspicionless stops that cannot be reconciled with Fourth Amendment protections. The Supreme Court has upheld the use of immigration checkpoints, but only insofar as the stops consist only of a brief and limited inquiry into residence status. Checkpoints cannot be primarily used for drug-search or general law enforcement efforts. In practice, however, Border Patrol agents often do not limit themselves to brief immigration inquiries and regularly conduct criminal investigations and illegal searches at checkpoints. The Border Patrol also frequently pulls over motorists in “roving patrol” stops, often without any suspicion that an immigration violation has occurred.
  
• The ACLU has documented numerous cases of abuse by Border Patrol and filed lawsuits to obtain more information about the agency’s practices. Given Border Patrol’s lack of transparency, and in the absence of any meaningful oversight, there is still much that we don’t know about the full extent and impact of these interior “border enforcement” operations.

One has to wonder how Border Patrol duties will differ when the government has facial recognition cameras rolled out nationwide.
Last year, Trump’s January executive order widened immigration enforcement and included plans to hire 5,000 Border Patrol agents, 2,000 customs officers, and 500 agents for the Office of Air and Marine Operations over the next four years.
It appears the Trump administration will continue to use violence to coerce the removal of illegal undocumented citizens from America. Moreover, as Activist Post has previously reported, the U.S. is implementing a biometric surveillance state at the borders and airports that makes George Orwell’s 1984 look like nothing in comparison … all with the goal to “Make America Great Again.”[/size]
