RE. THAT ANTARCTIC QUATTUOROPUS STORY

WARNING: this one is so strange that I think it's safe to say that I'm somewhere between 99 and 100% skeptical of it, but even then, it's worth passing along and filing away in your "Strange Stuff and Rumors about Antarctica" file. To be sure, I think this story has all the distinct "odor" of one of those stories that occasionally comes along that has been deliberately planted on the internet, perhaps to have a bit of fun, or perhaps just to track to see where it travels in cyber space, and who picks it up and talks about it. It was shared by C.J.D.M., but before we can get to it, first a little background as to why I'm sharing it at all, given my skepticism.
For one thing, I'm sharing it on the off chance that that 0.000.....1 percent that avoids my skepticism might prove to be true. So with that in mind, down to my other reasons.
Regular readers here know that I think something mighty strange is "up" down there. I've rehearsed the strangeness of the place many times on this website (and in my books dealing with what I've called the post-war "Nazi International"). At the risk of boring those who know those books and previous blogs, permit me to bring anyone who may not know up to speed. The strangest thing about Antarctica is the list of people associated with the place. That list includes:
Nazi Reichsmarshal Hermann Goering, founder of the Luftwaffe and Gestapo, and ultimate sponsor of the 1938-1939 expedition to that continent, about which there is much conjecture and little fact;
Nazi Party head and Hitler's personal deputy thereto, Reichminister Rudolf Hess, whose connections to the continent (and to Goering) are strange indeed. It's too complicated a story to recount here, save to note that the subject of Antarctica was delicately raised by a British diplomat in conversation with Herr Hess after the latter's famous flight to Great Britain in May 1941. (For the complicated story, see my book Hess and the Penguins which is available in the bookstore on this site). The mere fact that the subject would be obliquely raised during these conversations leads me to think that the public story for the Nazi expedition - that they were looking for fishing grounds and lubricants from whales - is a cover story, much like the story put out in connection to America's postwar Operation Highjump expedition to the continent (see bel0w, number 5);
Current Ottomaniac and would-be sultan Mr. Erdogan of Turkey, who wants a permanent Turkish presence on the continent;
Various "royals", including Spanish King Juan Carlos, who along with Britain's Prince Harry, have visited the continent;
Admiral Richard Byrd, whose postwar expedition - Operation Highjump - was somewhat suspiciously called off after only a few weeks, when it was outfitted for several months' stay. The expedition, as anyone familiar with it knows, was a rather large scale military affair, complete with some Marines, an escort aircraft carrier, and so on. The expedition was planned with the personal involvement of the then head of the naval staff, Fleet Admiral Chester Nimitz, and then Secretary of the Navy John Forrestal. The public was told that the expedition was simply to test Arctic tactics and equipment, but as I've pointed out, Alaska or Canada would have done for that; there was no need to outfit an entire fleet and bear the expense of an expedition which was ended much sooner than intended. The ending itself, as most who are familiar with it know, is shrouded in suspicion, since Admiral Byrd gave an interview to a reporter of the El Mercurio newspaper of Santiago de Chile who was traveling with the small press corps on the journey, saying words to the effect that the USA would have to prepare to defend itself against aircraft that could fly from pole to pole at tremendous speed. Needless to say, these remarks touched off a firestorm of speculation that continues to this day;
Former U.S. Secretary of State John "Ketsup" Kerry, who in the middle of a diplomatic junket during one of the most hotly contested elections in American history in 2016, took a little detour to the continent because (we were told) he was personally interested in "climate change" and wanted to see it firsthand (uh huh... yea... sure). At the time, I speculated that perhaps Kerry's visit was really about conducting diplomacy. If so, then the questions is, with whom? and why there?
Apollo 11 astronaut Ed "Buzz" Aldrin, who visited the continent, and allegedly tweeted some odd things about his visit, both before and after it. For example, prior to boarding his flight from South Africa to the continent, he tweeted that he was "going to the launchpad," leaving people to wonder whether that was "astronautese" for the flight to Antarctica, or whether it was intended as a reference to the continent itself. Then, falling ill during his visit, he had to be evacuated, but not before allegedly tweeting that what he saw down there was "evil."
With that context in mind, recall that many years ago there was something of a minor "furor" over whatever it was that the Russians had discovered in their deep drilling efforts over Lake Vostok, a vast underground lake on the polar continent.
One story was that during their deep drilling they found a form of life that existed in no known list. (See the following, for example:
As can be seen, the idea that an unknown life form in the form of microbial life is not implausible, especially in an underground lake on an isolated continent, which lake itself has been isolated from the rest of the world for quite some time, millions of years in fact.
But... now there's a new story, and it is a whopper doozie, because the source of the story, a Dr. Anton Padalka, was allegedly on that Russian team doing the drilling at Lake Vostok, and according to him, they found much more than microbes:

Now this, as I say, is a whopper. It may be the biggest "big fish" story ever, except in this case, we're dealing with one of my favorite animals: the octopus. So, picking out the important paragraphs from the story, here's what we have:

GENEVA — A defecting Russian scientist has surfaced with a mind-bending account of what REALLY occurred when he and his colleagues went missing for five days in a mysterious lake 12,366 feet beneath the Antarctic ice.
Dr. Anton Padalka told authorities in Switzerland that the researchers discovered a bizarre and deadly life form dubbed Organism 46-B – a highly intelligent octopus-like creature that claimed the lives of three of the team members.
But the government of Russian president Vladimir Putin claimed that “nothing of scientific interest” was found – because the former KGB strongman hopes to weaponize the organism.
“The discovery of such unusual life in Lake Vostok was the most important scientific breakthrough in decades, but we were ordered not to divulge it because of Mr. Putin’s sinister scheme,” the whistleblowing geologist told the Swiss.
It was in early February 2012 that members of the Russian Antarctic Expedition succeeded in the drilling through more than two miles of thick ice to Lake Vostok – a project that took more than 30 years. Because the freshwater lake has been sealed off from the rest of the world for between 15 and 34 million years, scientists had predicted they would find new species that had evolved far differently than any seen before.
... Just as the eight man team neared the lake all communication with the outside world mysteriously ceased. As days crept by and the researchers failed to respond to increasing frantic efforts to reach them by radio, fellow scientists worldwide feared the worst.
“No word from the ice for 5 days,” Dr. John Priscu, a professor of ecology at Montana State University and head of a similar Antarctic exploration program grimly told Fox News at the time. “I can only imagine what it’s like.”
Or maybe he couldn’t. Dr Padalka claims that during this time, he and his colleagues were fighting for their lives in the lost world deep beneath the earth’s surface.
“We encountered Organism 46-B on day one as we were conducting a preliminary dive in our low-temperature wetsuits,” he recounts. “It disabled our radio, which we later learned to our alarm, was intentional.”
Although the creature has 14 arms instead of the usual eight, it kills in a similar manner to an ordinary octopus — seizing its prey, injecting it with paralyzing saliva then dismembering it into small pieces with its beak. But Organism 46-B has another trick up its sleeve.
“It is able to paralyze prey at a distance of up to 150 feet by releasing its venom into the water from an organ similar to its ink sac,” explained Dr. Padlaka.
“Tragically, my colleague and life-long friend Dr. Vindogradov was killed this way.
He tread water wearing a blissful smile as the organism approached him. We watched helplessly as it used its arms to tear off his head, then popped his remains its mouth. It was as if it had hypnotized him telepathically.”
The 33-foot-long man-eater also boasts extraordinary camouflage that helped it stalk the researchers.
“Many species of octopus can alter their appearance, usually to avoid larger predators,” Dr. Padalka explained. “Sacs of colorful pigments called chromatophores allow them to change colors, and by contracting their muscles they can blend in with the smooth ocean floor or a craggy coral reef. The well-known mimic octopus can contort its boneless body to take on the shape of a sea snake or stingray.”
But the shape-shifting abilities of Organism 46-B sound almost diabolical.
“It shaped itself into the form of a human diver. We thought it was one my colleagues swimming toward us in scuba gear. By the time the closest scientist realized what it was, it had grabbed him and torn him to bits.”
If an arm of an ordinary octopus is cut off, the severed limb will crawl away – sometimes even seize prey and place it in the mouth of the octopus. Experts say that’s because each arm contains a cluster of neurons – essentially its own brain. The arms of Organism 46-B demonstrated a chilling knack for operating autonomously.
“After our sole female researcher chopped off one of the arms with an ax, the severed limb yanked the weapon out of her hands,” recalled the scientist. “That night the arm slithered onto the icy bank where we were sleeping and strangled her.”
The experts believe that not only does the octopus regenerate its limbs, the brainy severed tentacle may be able to form a new octopus.
... Octopuses are extraordinarily intelligent, able to negotiate mazes, use tools and even build structures with Legos. The newly discovered entity is in a class by itself.
“From the way it adapted each time we changed our tactics, we became convinced it is at least as intelligent as an average human,” Dr. Padalka revealed. “If we were not all Ph.Ds, I fear it would have in the end outwitted us.”
A fourteen-armed (or rather, tentacled) octopus, that's thirty-three feet long (hmmm... thirty-three)!? Ok, I can buy the intelligence part. One can go on Youtube and look at any number of videos of octopus solving complex puzzles, or even watching other octopus solving complex puzzles, and then doing the same task themselves. One can find videos of them collecting baubles and junk from the seafloor to decorate their lairs, solving puzzles, and building things. I can even buy the "battle with the evil octopus" idea, and even that it deliberately smashed their radio. I can even buy the shape-shifting into a form looking like a scuba-diver, because octopus are masters of camouflaging themselves to look like something else, from sea snakes to coral reefs or a rock. And curiously enough, there have been for a number of years stories of battles in (or beneath) Antarctica, with postwar British SAS forces battling everything from Nazis to "monsters".
Indeed, Nexus magazine ran a series about this allegation many years ago.
Believe it or not, none of this, really, makes the whole story questionable to my mind. What makes it highly dubious in my opinion is this:

The geologists expected to be honored internationally for their amazing find. To their great disappointment, however, the Russian government claimed that the team had found no life in Lake Vostok – and denied that divers had even entered the water. (Emphasis added)
Really? A tank big enough to hold a fourteen-tentacled octopus that's also a Scottish Rite Freemason? (After all, it was 33 feet long! That's quite a secret handshake!)
How did the Russians manage to get a tank big enough to fit such a large octopus (perhaps we should call it a quattuoropus, since it has fourteen tentacles) through the bore hole? And how, in spite of all their troubles, did they manage to herd it into the tank? And presumably, they did this to bring it to the surface through that bore hole, requiring heavy lift equipment?
So yea, color me (extremely) skeptical on this one. But at least it was 99.999...9 percent entertaining.
It's that other 0.000...1 percent that I find disturbing.

Ancient Pyramids in an Icy Landscape: Was There an Ancient Civilization in Antarctica?
In 2016 the World Wide Web was all abuzz with Google Earth images of Antarctica that appear to show pyramids in the icy landscape. The images show what appears to be three pyramids with four sides similar to the famous Giza pyramids in Egypt. Could these be authentic man-made pyramids created by an ancient civilization?
Who Made the Antarctica Pyramids?
There are numerous theories about the origin of these pyramids. Some of the more controversial suggestions are that the pyramids were remnants of an earlier Atlantean civilization in Antarctica, or that they were built by extraterrestrials.
Other researchers have suggested a natural geological explanation for the Antarctica pyramids. These scientists have proposed that the “pyramids”, may actually be nunataks. Nunataks are the peaks of mountains that protrude through the ice and are higher than the surrounding terrain.

The Research of Dr. Charles Hapgood
Two of the ‘Antarctica pyramids’ can be found 10 miles (16 kms) from the coast. The third pyramid is located near the shoreline.
The discovery of these pyramids suggests that Antarctica may have been inhabited by humans sometime in the past 6,000 years. It was around this time that man was building pyramids in the Old World. Charles Hapgood’s research supports the possible existence of an ancient civilization on a continent which is now covered by ice.
In ‘ Maps of the Ancient Sea Kings ,’ Dr. Charles Hapgood published the Piri Reis Map of Antarctica. This 16th century map shocked the world because it showed Antarctica without ice.
The Piri Reis map was found in Turkey. A Turkish Naval officer sent the map to the U.S. Navy Hydro Graphic Bureau in 1953. M.I. Walters, the Chief Engineer of the Bureau, sent the map to Arlington H. Mallery to be evaluated. Mallery determined that the Piri Reis map was completely accurate and may have been copied from a map made 6,000 years ago.

Confirming the Piri Reis Map
The Piri Reis map of Antarctica is very accurate.
Using seismic soundings and sonar, researchers found that underneath the ice-cap the coastlines, mountain ranges, plateaus etc. on the Piri Reis map matched the Queen Maud land in Antarctica. Olhmeyer, leader of the British-Swedish expedition to Antarctica wrote Hapgood the following letter:

“Dear Professor Hapgood,
Your request of evaluation of certain unusual features of the Piri Reis Antarctica map of 1513 by this organization has been reviewed. The claim that the lower part of the map portrays the Princess Martha Coast of Queen Maud Land, Antarctic, and the Palmer Peninsular, is reasonable. We find that this is the most logical and in all probability the correct interpretation of the map. The geographical detail shown in the lower part of the map agrees very remarkably with the results of the seismic profile made across the top of the ice-cap by the Swedish-British Antarctic Expedition of 1949.This indicates the coastline had been mapped before it was covered by the ice-cap. This part of Antarctica ice free. The ice-cap in this region is now about a mile thick. We have no idea how the data on this map can be reconciled with the supposed state of geographical knowledge in 1513.”

The letter from Ohlmeyer confirmed Dr. Charles Hapgood’s theory that the Piri Reis map was probably copied from a map made in ancient times. Dr. Charles Hapgood wrote in ‘ Maps of the Ancient Sea Kings’ that he was sure that although the Piri Reis Map contained latitudes and longitudes plotted out at right angles in a traditional plane geometry, it had to have been based on an earlier map.
Hapgood was also sure that the map was ancient in origin because the Piri Reis map’s creator used spheroid trigonometry, which was thought to have been invented in the 18th Century, even though the Piri Reis map has been dated to 1513.
No matter what the origin of the snow pyramids may actually be, the discovery of these mysterious features will increase speculation on the possible human habitation of Antarctica in recent history.

OF FOSSILS AND STRUCTURES AND TIRE TRACKS… IN ANTARCTICA

When Mr. M.S. sent me the link for the following video about the discovery of several "somethings" in Antarctica, I was, at first, inclined to hit the "delete" button, as I do with about 99% of videos people send me. Sorry folks, it's just the reality of things: I simply do not have the time to watch videos from hundreds of people. But every now and then, one manages to pique my curiosity sufficiently that I have to watch. In this case, I was floored, flabbergasted, stunned, shocked; and there was more than just a queasy anxiety in the pit of my stomach, for if true, then it's definitely confirmation that "something" is "up" down there.
But first, let me hedge today's blog around with multiple riders, caveats, exemptions, exceptions, and cave legentibus: (1) I have no idea of the reliability of the site from which the video came; I did watch several other videos from the same site, just to get a "feel" for it, and I come away with some ambivalence, though I did not detect any intention willingly to dissemble, but that is a purely subjective assessment, and the reader may disagree; (2) the video links yet another video about "high Antarctic strangeness" that I also watched and will link below, which seems to "confirm" the anomalies found in the first video; (3) if true, what is shown in both videos is nothing less than stunning, and it tends to confirm my suspicions - stated most recently for example on the Richard Dolan Show - that the high strangeness going on in Antarctica may be due to the fact that they "found something"; if these videos are showing genuine anomalies, then that hypothesis has just been confirmed, and in spades; (4) this, however, must always be tempered by the fact that in today's digital age, anything can be "photoshopped". The question then becomes, who photoshopped what is seen, and why. That said, I'd be remiss on a website that specializes in high octane speculation and "the weird" not to pass this along. Finally, an apology to readers: the videos will require about thirty minutes of your time. Again, I pass them along for their intrinsic prima facie interest.
That said, here is the video sent by Mr. M.S.:

Now, if you've managed to make it through both videos, there are a number of things that stand out to my mind, and which form the focus of my daily dose of high octane speculation. Again, for the sake of argument, let us assume that the anomalies highlighted in both videos is genuine. What, then, emerges? Firstly, I note that the anomalies for the most part, as far as I can tell, fall within the general regions that were either "invaded" or that were explored by aerial photogrammetry mapping missions by Admiral Richard Byrd in the well-known Operation High Jump, 1946-1947. Let me underscore that once again: they are within the general regions in which Operation High Jump took place.
A careful and detailed examination of this correspondence I did not do; and thus this remains a merely qualitative "first glance" assessment. Secondly, what is also interesting and intriguing to me is that the author of both of these videos, who calls himself "Florida Maquis" and who did a great deal of yeoman's work on these videos, also did yet another video in which he examines other Antarctic anomalies which fall within the general region explored by the 1938-1939 German expedition in the region they called Neuschwabenland, otherwise known as Queen Maud Land. Thirdly, if these anomalies are genuine, then my hypothesis that the reason for all the recent strangeness in Antarctica, from the sudden visit of former Secretrary of State John Kerry to the visit of Patriarch Kiril III of Moscow, to Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin - who incidentally made several strange tweets on his Twitter account both prior to and after his visit, one of which was a tweet that was quickly taken down that what was down there was "pure evil" - assumes a context that they did not have before: they were most probably down there have a first hand look at these anomalies for themselves. The sudden interest of Turkey in Antarctica would also make sense, because if these anomalies are genuinely there, then it stands to reason that there is a lot of quiet discussion taking place in the background by the "powers that be."
The anomalies themselves are worth commenting on: again, if genuine, then they are showing three basic classes of "things" there: (1) structures indicating an intelligent origin; (2) fossil-like remains that are quite large; and (3) anomalies both on or beneath the land surface, and beneath the coastal waters, whose exact nature is unknown, but which in some cases exhibit recurring rectilinearity. With respect to the last class, recall that Russia was going to send elements of its Baltic Fleet to Antarctica, along with a "spy ship" to do coastal explorations off the continent.
To put all this high octane speculation as succinctly as possible: if the anomalies are indeed genuine, than we now have clear evidence that there may once have been some sort of civilization on the continent, but of a very bizarre nature, given the "fossils" displayed in the second video. The author of the videos, "Florida Maquis", also points out that these anomalies are not necessarily visible from a simple Google Earth search, but rather, that one can only view them in the professional version, and even then, only by using the time stamp feature, which, he maintains, is a simple but effective way that "the powers that be" have been hiding things; something might be visible, or hidden, in the year (to pick a date at random) 2011, that will not be visible in the same area if one only looks at 2018, which as he also correctly points out, most people will do.
Which brings me to a second high octane speculation: let us assume - again only for the sake of argument - that the anomalies uncovered by "Florida Maquis" were indeed photoshopped and injected into the Google Earth (pro version) data stream. The question then becomes "who did it" and "why"? Here, I suspect, a team of delinquent hackers playing an elaborate practical joke on the rest of us, while possible, is only barely so. If such occurred, in my opinion it would be much more likely that it would come from "much higher up." The question then becomes "why", and here I suspect that the reason is simply to create both a misdirection, and to keep attention focused on Antarctica, but to misdirect it. Why be concerned, for example, about Lockheed-Martin's presence in Antarctica, if there are large "fossils" of a large "something" to be found there?
When all is said and done, I am left with that same queasy feeling in the pit of my stomach that these pictures may be genuine, rather than a faked deception and misdirection, for if genuine, they explain a lot of the strange history of that continent in the decades immediately prior to World War Two, and ever since. In other words, if one assumes their genuineness, then they explain much of the hidden reasons for the recent strange interests and activities there. If one assumes for the sake of argument that these anomalies are genuine, then they explain the presence and associations of Aldrin, Kiril III, John Kerry, and many others in and with Antarctica. For the moment, my vote is on the genuine side.

New Inscriptions and Legends
I have tabulated just a few more of the inscriptions and legends exposed by the remote sensing, NASA, and DigiGlobe platforms.
Discoveries of significance follow the table in separate entities, as each needs to be supported by explanatory text and satellite photographs. All symbols, characters and imagery are interpreted within the limitations of the workpiece, which may have been subjected to severe environmental distortions leading to occasional unavoidable misinterpretations.

Additional to the original hominin portrait from Nelson Island, (see Figure 2(a) below). I have added two new hominin images discovered on Marambio Island. Hominids include all modern and extinct great apes. Hominins are any species of early human that is more closely related to humans than to chimpanzees; this also includes modern humans.

An obvious question: do these images, whomsoever carved them, record the remnants of an indigenous population living on Antarctica long before the first emigre's arrived - whether they came 'Out of Africa', or were Minoans, Tamils, Hindus, Egyptians, or Sumerians from Bolivia, et al?
Many of the human head and animal portraits I have exposed are either individually marked with legends or closely associated with inscriptive material, thus, as I have already pointed out in the past, general epigraphy enables a reasonably realistic and logical chronological time frame to be constructed for the artifact in question.
The Hominin with Flowers
Let us study Figure 2(a); without doubt a hominin. Observe the headware - garlanded with a flowered headband, another flower in the hair, and even the associated script is embellished with a flower! See also figure 4(a).

This is no primitive hominid, but a socially organized Homo sapiens many generations advanced from its ancestors of, say, 100,000 years before. A species that evolved cognitively either by cross breeding or natural selection.
According to current anthropological and genealogical thinking, such hybridization between, for example, the Neanderthals and Cro-Magnon would have an overlap time frame of 50,000 - 30,000 years ago, after which time the Neanderthals gradually died out - to be replaced by the artistic, cave painting, Cro-Magnon - who struck and used tools, wove cloth, made jewelry, and may have had an elementary form of speech. The Cro-magnon spanned the era 35,000-10,000 years ago, i.e. about 8,000 BC.
If the headbands worn by Figures 4(a) and 4(b) are accepted as a signature of group identity then, in my humble opinion, one can hypothesize that they fall into the category: homo sapiens australiopithecus (southern apes).

A Very Strange, Almost Alien-Like Humanoid
Figure 3(a) is, indeed, a very strange, almost alien-like humanoid with a long elongated skull, large eye sockets set with rather globular eyes - each partially closed by epicanthic eye lids. A light cranial ridge is visible, and the large mouth exposes the same crude and irregular incisors as Figure 2(a).

There is no visual evidence that the nose is other than flat or non-existent; the profile has a typical receding chin and jawline. Most noticeable is the lack of hair either on the face or over the skull. The fact that there are none of the usual sutures caused by cultural deformation to the cranium, suggests the elongated head is completely natural.
Original examination of the figure showed no obvious facial adornment, however, light highlighting, to improve printout, exposed a familiar 'star' marking on the left cheekbone, thus elevating this hominid into the ranks of hominin.
Additionally, carved into the same workpiece (lower right of the image) is a very indistinct legend, implying by its closeness that it might relate directly to the hominin itself; these two features, the 'star' and the legend, when translated, might help construct a provenance.
Although 'writing' was invented circa 3500 BC, i.e. about 6000 years ago, in Mesopotamia, current thinking suggests simple inscribed trading tokens were in wide use as 'proto money' by the 8th Millenium BC. Also believed by some scientists to be the basic symbols from which the very system of 'writing' evolved. If associated, then Figure 3(a) could date somewhere between 8000 to 7001 BC.
For comparison, the earliest known elongated skulls are Early Neolithic, circa 10,000 BC. Other skulls have been discovered in Egypt, Australia, and Iraq. Elongated skulls from Brazil, for example, are dated circa 7500 BC. (after Dr R. Louise. PhD.)

Many skulls and bones have been discovered over time, but, to the best of my knowledge, this is the first time sculptures depicting what hominins actually looked like 'in the flesh' have been discovered anywhere in the world.
Anthropologically speaking, I have some doubts about hominin, Figure 3 (a), which is certainly not of the 'great ape' lineage with its gentle, amphibian-like, globular eyes, epicanthic eyelids and elongated head - great ape heads are rather rounded with small piggy eyes and heavy cranial ridges.
However, both have the ragged protruding incisors in common. Does this suggest a new and different hybrid lineage? If so, what was the original parentage?
Any attempts to untangle the 'Out of Africa' theory and its multiple global migrations and connotations of integration effect is beyond the scope of this update. Satellite imagery can only introduce a suspect situation; it cannot replace a full and proper 'on the ground' forensic evaluation.
‘An Almost Child-Like Quality’
From the many new satellite portraits I have taken over Marambio Island, I have chosen to publish Figure 4(b); this dark toned image has an almost child-like quality. It has a small globular head with short black hair, large expressive eyes, a small round mouth and pointed chin, and, like the hominin in Figure 4(a), it sports a headband carrying a small flower motif.
My visual description, however, may be misleading: 'child-like quality' could also infer that the hominin is small of stature after the likes of the hominid 'Lucy', an Australopithecus afarensis discovered in Ethiopia 40 years ago.
Lucy was a rather lightly built hominid with a small, globular skull, thin brow ridge, large eye sockets, small mouth with neat teeth, and a short jawline. Her skeletal DNA recorded an age of 3.2 million years.

Is it possible that 'Lucy' and Figure 4(b) are from the same ancestral line, albeit 'Lucy's skeleton was discovered in Ethiopia and the portrait of 'Luciana' (well, why not?) was sculptured from a rock in Antarctica?
There is an alternative hypothesis: Figure 4(a) and Figure 4(b) are each located on the Antarctica Peninsula and wear the same garlanded headband. Could this infer the same group identity, same species and same provenance? The fact that 'Luciana' appears the more 'delicate' of the two might even suggest 'she' is the female of the species, Homo sapien australiopithecus.

Who Were the Early Explorers to Antarctica?
Hence is it fair to speculate that the indigenous population on Antarctica created their own rock-cut intaglios to which they added a system of 'written' notation? If so, did a colored race of homo sapiens bring this knowledge with them 'Out of Africa'?
The fascinating account of finding two near identical human head portraits; Figure 5(a) and 5(b), one rock carved on Marambio Island, Antarctica, the other standing as a monument far across the oceans on the Yala Beach front, Sri Lanka, as demonstrated in the photo-strip below, placed the Tamils among the earliest explorers to touch down on the Continent of Antarctica more than 6000 years ago.

This important discovery strengthened my hypothesis that the Tamils established a trans-oceanic trading route from Sri Lanka, south along the coastlines of Indonesia to Papua New Guinea, and across the Torres Strait directly on to Australia's Cape York Peninsula.

SATELLITE IMAGE OF A “SOMETHING”… IN ANTARCTICA

Over the past few years, if you've been paying attention to Antartica, you've seen a lot of highly strange stuff happening down there, and normally this would be the place where I review that high strangeness. That review would also normally rehearse all the highly strange people associated with the polar continent, a cast that includes former Secretary of State John Kerry, Apollo astronaut Buzz Aldrin, King Juan Carlos of Spain, and Rudolf Hess and Hermann Goering and Admiral Richard Byrd and... well, you get the idea. An odd lot to be sure, and I don't think they were all simply interested in "climate change". Besides, climate change wasn't a "thing" in Hess's, Goering's, or Byrd's day, but even if it were, I doubt any of them would have bought it for a minute. They may have been obsessive compulsives about things like world domination and such, but they weren't stupid.
But today I want to rehearse a rather different list of high strangeness, a list that concerns not the strange people associated with the frozen continent, but the strange stuff associated with it.
Over the past few years, we've seen stories on the internet about Google maps suppressing strange things in satellite photos of the place, to octopuses with fourteen tentacles and checking in at around thirty feet long (or was it?... so hard to see down there) battling Russian scientists in the sub-surface Lake Vostok. Fortunately - according to the story - the Russian scientists prevailed over the octopus (which I more accurately renamed a quattuoropus), which they had nicknamed "Wehrmacht", and hauled the creature through the very narrow bore hole, crated it up, and sent it back to Mr. Putin, where it is currently undergoing interrogation in the Lubyanka, after which, we are assured, it will be on display in the Gum department store. But back to those Google satellite photos. If the satellite photos that some allege were real, and of real stuff in Antarctica that google maps was hiding "in the open", then you can add stuff that looks like the skeletons of very large and serpent-like creatures to the list, not to mention a few photos of stuff that looks like buildings and installations of some sort. Perhaps the strangest one of all was one that was real (if the Powers That Be weren't having a bit of fun that is) was the picture of the perfectly rectangular iceberg that had supposedly broken off from the ice shelf of the continent.
Sure... uh huh... whatever you say.
Well, now you can add "installation of some sort" to the list, according to this fun article spotted by N. (thanks N! This one is a corker):

Now as you might have guessed, this sets off my high octane speculation motor. But before we get to that, just a reminder about our normal methodology: on this website, we simply assume that the story is true, and speculate on what the implications might be. In doing so, we're assuming that the propatainment media would never lie. After all, they've been completely forthcoming and transparent regarding just about everything, from the JFK assassination, to Waco, Ruby Ridge, the OKC bombing, 9/11, the covid planscamdemic, the trustworthiness of vaccines and GMOs, and Deutsche Bank's, BCCI's, the Bank of International Settlements, and the Federal Reserve's integrity as financial institutions, to the complete integrity of modern papal conclaves, and so so much more.
(And yes, for you graduates of an Amairukuhn Quackademy, that was sarcasm, and no, it's not spelled sourkazm... look it up in a dictio...oh nevermind.)
So according to the article which is breathtakingly and suspiciously short, we're supposed to believe this "thing" - whatever it is - is miles from Nowhere and Anyone, and is somewhere in Eastern Antarctica (c'mon, you can say it, Neuschwabenland), that it looks "man-made", even though it might just be due to weird effects of blowing snow which just happened to blow in such a way that it made neat little rectilinear boxes on the surface of Antarctica, around what appears to be ice melt.
Sure... uh huh... whatever you say.
And, oh, that it's just now showing up on satellite photos...
...or they're just now releasing those satellite photos...
...or they made it all up as yet another distraction...
