| The Spirit of ’76: America & the Holy Bible

This short post will complement the last one and dive a bit deeper into Bible mysteries. Thanks to Jeff for inspiring this post through a comment he left here-

In that last post, and in many others previously, I’ve revealed Biblical evidence that America is Babylon the Great, also called the Daughter of Babylon and end times prophetic Babylon. This nation “Babylon” is marked by the number 252 in various forms, as I demonstrate again here via summary outline-
252 = number of verses in Holy Bible containing the word “Babylon”
2520 = The Writing on the Wall of [url=http://biblia.com/bible/kjv1900/Daniel 5.25]Daniel 5:25[/url] Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin
25200 = Number of days in seventy (70) prophetic years, the time allotted to America asworld superpower
252000 = 253776 – 1776 = a number related to the Jeremiad prophecies regarding end times Babylon (explanation later)
These are all compelling, but perhaps the most stunning of all is the Writing on the Wall of [url=http://biblia.com/bible/kjv1900/Daniel 5.25]Daniel 5:25[/url] denoting coinage units totaling 2520 (as deciphered by the late David Flynn, as well as another researcher whose article I can no longer locate online). Here’s a short video which captures the situation on the night of 12-13 October, 539 BC, quite succinctly I must say-

Yet I’ve also shown evidence that this 2520 or markedly “Babylon” number is closely related to or even reflected by the number 1776, a distinctly “America” number.
This relationship is seen through the numerology of ancient Hebrew sages who “shortened” the description of interpretation of the Writing on the Wall Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin (Peres) into only four words in Hebrew meaning numbered, numbered, weighed, divided; the total was 1776. However, stunningly, in English Gematria (6-based) “Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin Peres” itself yields 1776. And utilizing the wonderful Bible software recommended by Jeff, we find that “Babylon” occurs in exactly 17 Books and 76 Chapters of the Holy Bible; please find the link here-

Back to the title of this article now “The Spirit of ’76” is derived from a famous painting by that name, shown here-
To define what is meant by this particular “spirit” I’ll include here three quotes (all bold emphasis by C.M.), starting with a fine summary from Wikipedia-

Sisters and brothers, for all of the ultimate benefits for mankind which might have resulted from the American Revolution, the fact is that this uprising was birthed inrebellion. God Almighty does not consider rebellion a virtue, a fruit of the Spirit.
Rather, it is strongly related to pride, a most dire condition and grave sin. The word rebellion is defined by the number thirteen (13) which, akin to 1776, is likewise considered an “America” number by basis of the nation’s original 13 colonies which were “united” in rebellion against the king of England. We can discern the Biblical meaning of the number 13 by its first usage in Scripture (ref. Bullinger)-

Clearly, many of America’s founding fathers were enamored with the number thirteen, but likewise also with 1776, which is double 888 (Gematria of Jesus in Greek). “And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.” Gematria 1776
Now, back to the Bible software recommend by Jeff, we see that the total number of occurrences of the word “Babylon” is 286.
For starters, might I mention that-
286 = 2 x 11 x 13
Or, 2 (double/confirmed) x 11 (chaos, disorder, judgment) x 13 (rebellion)
But furthermore-
286 – 252 = 34
Thirty-four (34) is the Gematria of “Babylon” in Hebrew-
בבל Babel {baw-bel’} from 01101; TWOT – 197; n pr loc AV – Babylon 257, Babylonian + 01121 3, Babel 2; 262 Babel or Babylon = “confusion (by mixing)” 1) Babel or Babylon, the ancient site and/or capital of Babylonia (modern Hillah) situated on the Euphrates

Looking further into the number 286 we find this, courtesy of the Bible Wheel-

Alternately, we can render 72 as: 6 + 6 x 6
Referring now back to my point about America’s founding. I need to be very clear.
Most Christians tend to be in either one camp or the other; the one camp being that America was founded as a Christian nation and the other camp being that America was founded by the occult, for their vile purposes of eventually birthing the New World Order under Lucifer. The truth is that it was both. Personally, I have no trouble grasping this concept. America’s founding fathers ranged from devout Christians to outright occultists. God established America as a shining city on a hill, to be a light to the world, to spread the Gospel. Yet from the beginning the enemy Satan was likewise active, spreading his lies and sowing discord. Jesus gives us a wonderful parable in the Book of Matthew, Chapter 13-
24 “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.“
The story of the founding of America is one of the wheat and the tares. The enemy sowed the tares in amongst the wheat. The harvest is the end of the age. America the Babylon will be the first to fall at the onset of The Day of The Lord, the great separation.

Quite eerily reminiscent even of the Tower of Babel. As God dispersed the first Babylonian empire when he brought down the Tower, and the second Babylon on the night of the Writing on the Wall, likewise this third Babylon, America, will soon fall.
This America defined by her spirit of rebellion and defiance, a nation which raised the Freedom Tower to a staggering height of 1776 feet back on 10 May, 2013. This Tower will be brought down, smashed and turned to dust along with all of the other idols of Babylon. For the “Spirit of ’76” is the spirit of rebellion, and rebellion ultimately brings destruction. America has disintegrated to the point at which she now shakes her collective fist in God’s face. This is utter defiance, and He will deal with the spiritual issue accordingly.
There are many blog writers and prophecy authors who have no use for numerology and Gematria. You’ve all heard these naysayers. But I remain absolutely convinced that numbers are another means of communication which the Father uses to speak to His people. He certainly often uses numbers when speaking to me, as I suppose He wired my brain that way! Besides, and importantly, when “fence-sitting” to lukewarm Christians see these staggering connections to 1776, some will be convinced of America’s role in the end times as Babylon the Great. And, sisters and brothers, this is why I research and write- to awaken the American people to the Truth. This said, there is compelling Biblical evidence available as to America’s identity as Babylon which has nothing to do with numerology nor Gematria.
