The Great Ghost Debate Are Human Spirits Consistent With a Biblical Worldview?

Many have objected to my arguments that a biblical worldview must leave room for human ghosts by insisting that human apparitions are all demons in disguise. While it is impossible for an author to address each reader’s concerns one on one, a serious one will seek the strongest counter arguments and address them in print. That is why I addressed Mark Hunneman’s work explicitly inThe Supernatural Worldview. Now, in the interest of seeking truth, we are both taking it live in a moderated debate. I will be debating Presbyterian Pastor Mark Hunneman author of Seeing Ghosts Through God’s Eyes on whether or not “all ghosts are demons” (Mark’s position) or, in contrast, a biblical worldview allows for the appearance of human apparitions (my stance). On Saturday, October 4th, Cris Putnam (Author - The Supernatural Worldview) and Mark Hunnemann (Author - Seeing Ghosts through God's Eyes) will engage in a formal debate as to the nature of ghosts. Specifically, are human ghosts consistent within a biblical worldview? Putnam will take the affirmative stance with regard to the resolution, while Hunnemann will represent the negative.
The debate will be pre-recorded on October 4 and I will endeavor to publish it the same day. You will be able to access the full debate on and after Oct. 4 at http://extraordinaryintelligence.com.
