I'm all about concealment! I don't wear Orange when hunting!
I bought my family members some camo, but don't let wear it yet.
You want to evade! Too many untrusted participants including our gov and foreign + creeps.

BACK PACK Is Water Proof!
Self contained water with drinking tube.
Is a hunters design will hold either a Rifle or Bow. I have both.
Off season I always take a hand gun. I wander through forest stream and lots of brush and there are Bear and Mountain Lions here along with an occasional big Snake.
I'm also an old Jeeper... so my ATV and Trailer for it contain all sorts of other gear, each its own for individual use or as system.
Can leave home on ATV with trailer or use truck to haul to drop off point, 2 Dirt bikes, the whole shebang! 10 man mil tent, 1 8x8 tent + tent stove, food, wood, sleeping bags, log saw, hand saw, axes, splitter, lanterns, solar panels, 3 burner cook stove + fuel and all the camping utensils, stackable pots, bucket of seeds etc. 2 pr Snow Shoes (large & small).. why large and small... small for just walking, large for carrying game, support more weight.
Please I do not mean to brag, I don't do that... this is just to give ideas for preparedness.. I make no claim to be the most prepared guy but outdoor experience and forgetting things one makes note of more necessary items for the next time.
If you relocate it is probably best to look at either some churches that have some single hunters and or a survival site and try to meet up with someone with common sense and likability of your personal taste. It would be very hard to go through any disaster alone.. two heads always better than one.. or even look for a like minded small group.
I've set up the family group into two... the one that stays at safe camp and 2-3 for hunting fishing.
Emergency contact only on the radios, protective peeps left at camp too. Lord said to protect the weak and elderly.
Animals are one thing... so I ask the Lord to guide me down the right path and one of no conflict with others.
I Stress the Edible Plant Books! I have a few for my native area in the camp gear, you can get some playing style cards on a chain from Amazon for about $8... other wise... Marigolds are edible. Not too bad either... haven't checked the vitamins they have though.
=== continued list
* Binoculars 20x40 is good, you can buy night vision for a price. (on night vision do not use infrared light that may come with as other night vision and or camera's can see this.. glows like a big cigarette to them.)
*Long Johns
* Map of Forested areas in detail, and a State map. (stay clear of roads if on foot)(use night cover for some movement and use the Moon.
* Hand Towel and Wash Rag in a camo color like olive, medium brown or dark tan.
I say Hand Towel because it is enough to dry off but yet small enough for backpacks.
* Bars Regular Soap and others for Poison Oak etc.
* Water Proof Matches save for rainy day, more regulars also
* Fire Starter -magnesium w/ chain to attach to backpack.. use back side of knife to scrape to create sparks. Try with dry leaves and straw/grass and use knife for small twigs and shavings to burn larger things
*roll of toilet paper
* Cotton Balls with vasoline smeared on them will Burn to start a fire. (petrolium product)
* Needle and good Tweezers for first aid kit along with Any Natural Med substitutes... see NatrualNews.com or another.
Fishing Pole for the Back Pack
Make sure you do not depend on electronics... hand tools rule... rechargable drills and saws are ok in the beginning but at some point you cannot replace batteries or other.
So... Garden tools, Good Log Saw, Good Axe, Good Hatchet, Good Knife.. etc Chinese will not last you!!
Keep Quiet
No open fires that would be visible.. even the light projected up onto trees from this would be a give away of location.. watch the cooking smells, they also travel. Plus smell of meat would attract wild animals, you don't want to meet up with Mr Bear or Mountain Lion... in my area I have seen many mountain lions. Bear are noisy but though they are here I have not seen one yet in 13 yrs but the tracks are always present.
Personally I have been eyeing a 12v crockpot on Amazon for my ATV accessory outlet

Trailer is 4 wheel independent on leaf springs on my built chassis and the tub was manufactured by a company. It has carry capacity of 1200 lbs and it rides like a Caddy. It goes through rough terrain with ease.
You might ask why all this stuff... I do a lot of back woods riding / hunting / fishing / rockhounding / recreational prospecting.. so.. all types of weather and critters (large snakes are the most dangerous to encounter) terrain varies from dry grassy with brush to heavy timber so type of camo has to meet these areas.
I chose Multi-cam which the gov has just now realized it is better than what they bought our servicemen.
I might have forgotten a few things but the main things for the back pack or here.
You are welcome to inquire about more anytime.
Hope this list helps some what... it is not done by an expert but has a dose of real life use and some common sense.
It is however not a brag list. I've decided to put this up on the forum for others to work from, add to, or what ever for their own.
I'm sure what I have given thus far is a good start but and most does not revolve around just hunting or guys.
I do have the hunting tool list but it would only cover the guns, bow and arrows etc and for most on the forum would not be interested and besides it depends on what types of tools one uses.
