One Big Happy Family
Globalism - Ecumenism
Tuesday, September 29, 2015
Wendy Wippel

Churchill and allies, as WW2 ended, proposed global governance (the “New World Order”) as a means to world peace.  Their efforts fell short but resulted in the UN.  Liberals may have the last laugh, however. Because Friday, the UN and the Pope agreed to a resolution that will necessitate a centralized authoritarian, global rule; Agenda 2030.

It’s predecessor, Agenda 21 was enacted by the UN in 1992, with the goal of making the world, by the end of the 21st century, one big happy family, a monumental achievement that would come about naturally by eradicating poverty, increasing the status of minorities, promoting conservation, and equalizing access to technology.

That was then, this is now. And they’ve their expectations. On Friday, all 193 voting members of the UN unanimously voted to adopt Agenda 20/30.

Agenda 20/30 builds on Agenda 11, but offers a more comprehensive package of UN expectations for achieving a perfect world, with specific guidelines for exactly how the agenda’s goals will be achieved (lacking in Agenda 21).

More importantly, the expanded agenda has also been fast-tracked. The deadline for the desired transformation of the world has been moved up.

The UN now believes, under this new plan, that the Utopia they envision can be realized in just 15 years. (Hence the name: Agenda 2030.) And it’s nothing if not ambitious:

Quote :
“Goal 1. End poverty in all its forms everywhere
Goal 2. End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture
Goal 3. Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
Goal 4. Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all
Goal 5. Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
Goal 6. Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all
Goal 7. Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all
Goal 8. Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all
Goal 9. Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation
Goal 10. Reduce inequality within and among countries
Goal 11. Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable
Goal 12. Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns
Goal 13. Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts*
Goal 14. Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development
Goal 15. Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss
Goal 16. Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels
Goal 17. Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.”

Lofty goals, and most of them admirable. But notice the specific verb choice:

ENSURE (that this will happen)

MAKE (this happen)

ACHIEVE (this)

END (this)

REDUCE (this)

And notice that these verbs are accompanied by a complete absence of any mention of freedom, self-determination, or choice.

The drafters of Agenda 2030, actually, don’t even pretend that those will exist.

Their progressive agenda, in their eyes, is so critical and so urgent that any differing opinions can not be entertained. An observation which the preamble to the document confirms:

Quote :
“This Agenda is a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity. It also seeks to strengthen universal peace in larger freedom. We recognize that eradicating poverty in all its forms and dimensions, including extreme poverty, is the greatest global challenge and an indispensable requirement for sustainable development. All countries and all stakeholders, acting in collaborative partnership, will implement this plan. We are resolved to free the human race from the tyranny of poverty and want and to heal and secure our planet. We are determined to take the bold and transformative steps which are urgently needed to shift the world onto a sustainable and resilient path. As we embark on this collective journey, we pledge that no one will be left behind. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets which we are announcing today demonstrate the scale and ambition of this new universal Agenda.”

That paragraph gave me chills, but the authors hid the really ominous statements smack dab in the middle:

Quote :
“All countries and all stakeholders, acting in collaborative partnership, will implement this plan.”

Translation: There will be no exceptions.

Quote :
“We are resolved to free the human race from the tyranny of poverty and want and to heal and secure our planet. We are determined to take the bold and transformative steps which are urgently needed to shift the world onto a sustainable and resilient path”.

Translation: we will consider no arguments.

Quote :
“As we embark on this collective journey, we pledge that no one will be left behind.”

Translation:  You will have no choice.

Choice you see, is messy. And dialogue, when you already know better than everyone else, is a waste of time.

And, from the viewpoint of the climate change conspiracists, since the earth is in imminent danger of annihilation from the freedom that we now enjoy, that freedom must be eradicated too. So every aspect of how you and I live has to be controlled.

And if your goal is to control everyone on the planet, you’re gonna have to have to have centralized control of the planet.

The UN’s Christiana Figueres observed that,

Quote :
“This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves… to intentionally transform the economic development model, for the first time in human history,”… “This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning.”

Here the plot thickens.  Christiana Figueres is not in charge of economics.  She is, in fact, the Grand Poobah of climate change at the UN. She and her liberal colleagues don’t intend to miss this opportunity to achieve their idealistic liberal dreams of one big happy planet, and climate change is the drum they can beat till they get it.

The irony here is that what they are planning is, in fact, a New World order. But not the one that Churchill envisioned, but one that takes the form of the promised land of liberal dreams.

A New World Order that Pope Francis came to New York to champion. As General Ban-ki Moon confirmed in his introduction of Francis in the UN meetings:

Quote :
“Your visit today coincides with the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, but that is no coincidence. You have often spoken of an ‘integral ecology’ – one that encompasses the environment, economic growth, social justice and human well-being – in other words, sustainable development for our common home.”

Ban also pointed out that the recent Papal Encyclical – Laudato Si – defined climate change as a principal challenge facing humanity, as well as a moral issue, and that the Pope had expressed his desire that the global community mobilize the world, beyond religious or political differences, to forge a shared vision.  A shared vision was elaborated upon by Frances at the UN:

Quote :
"First, it must be stated that a true “right of the environment” does exist, for two reasons.  First, because we human beings are part of the environment.  We live in communion with it, since the environment itself entails ethical limits which human activity must acknowledge and respect.  …..  Second, because every creature, particularly a living creature, has an intrinsic value, in its existence, its life, its beauty and its interdependence with other creatures.  …The adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at the World Summit, which opens today, is an important sign of hope.  I am similarly confident that the Paris Conference on Climatic Change will secure fundamental rights."

The liberal New World Order, embraced by the Pope, It’s a New World Order in which farming and industry as we know it doesn’t exist. And, therefore a New WorldOrder in which dinner might be bugs.

(I’m not making that up.  The UN recently released  a 200 page study entitled  “Edible insects: Future prospects for food and feed security,” which tells us that bugs are actually nutritious and environmentally friendly, and we in the west need to start understanding that,

Quote :
“Insects as food and feed emerge as an especially relevant issue in the twenty-first century due to the rising cost of animal protein, food and feed insecurity, environmental pressures, population growth and increasing demand for protein among the middle classes.”

So that’s the” New World Order ” we have to look forward to under centralized control.

But don’t expect to hear the term “New World Order” from the 193 entities that voted for it
(Including the US of A).

The term “New World Order", despite the legitimacy of its history, has come to be associated exclusively with us crackpot end-time enthusiasts that recognize that the Scriptures speak of a one-world government on the horizon, so, naturally, the Wikipedia entry defines it only as a conspiracy theory.

The new, progressive term, for the world to come is a global community that has adopted  (repeated over and over in the Agenda), “sustainable-development”.

And that has such a globally conscious ring to it, doesn’t it?
