DelfI's Rapture thread for Rosh Hashana 2017- now Pentecost :)

Good morning y'all! So, you all know I'm obsessed with the number 22 or 922.
It has made me obsessed because I see it so often. Since Jan 6 of this year I've seen it 45 unique times. So, I started looking at Jewish holidays and found that Tekiah Gedolah ( which is called the last trump because it is the last long blast that ends the festival) is on 9/22/17.

I have changed my resurrection/gathering position to pre-trib in the last year and so, this seems to pull it all together for me. Regardless of what position you hold it will still be fun to see if it's all a big coinkydink or that possibly  the Holy Spirit is giving us a clue....

but i want to go home oct/4 or 5 this year...never the less, His will be done...

I know! But it doesn't stop us from asking everyday, does it. Heehee!

Does anyone know where eternalrhythmflow went on youtube? He was hoping for a Rosh Hashana gathering last year, I believe.

Hello J! Welcome! Are you a numbers guy? I heard someone say on some podcast I can't remember, a few months back that this date marks another Jubilee year. I thought that was last year but what does the math say to you?  What do you see as significant in the 25,000 days?

25,000 - the number 25 symbolizes grace. It consists of the number 20, which means redemption, and the number five, which represents grace.

I just saw this post! Interesting! Grace. But now i've totally forgotten where I even got the 25,000 number . "Sigh" useless, I'm absolutely useless. :/

CHB - this is pure drivel. The purpose of the rapture is to escape God's wrath.

There are no conditions but one for qualifying to be included in the rapture - salvation.

Anything else is promoting works based salvation.

Hello everyone! So in continuing with my Hobbit day/rapture theme,  I had a new insight today.  It occurred to me to look up the equivalent of September 22 in the Hebrew calendar and lo and behold it happens to be the 25th of  Elul!!! How crazy is it that,that day marks the beginning of creation, the day that the Lord said let there be light. We know the sun wasn't even created until four days later and that he meant the light of the world, the Lord Jesus. Well this year. September 22 falls on the last day of Rosh Hashanah, which we all knew.  But finding out that the first day of creation falls on the day of the last Trump is a mind bender for me. So here is where I connected with the Lord of the rings for no other reason than because it was the Lord of the rings that piqued my curiosity about this day in the first place. 
In the Lord of the rings the very first thing that happens is that Bilbo puts on the ring at his birthday party and disappears right in front of everyone. He then leaves for his trip to Rivendell. A place of rest. 
In the Lord of the rings the last book, is the Return of the King. Lord Aragorn takes over his rightful place as the King of Gondor and the hobbits go home and proceed to set the Shire to rights after Sharkey almost completely destroys it. MErry and Pippin somewhat changed from drinking the Entwater. Taller than most Hobbits.  
So Tolkien definitely allegorized the Bible in his books but he also allegorized the return of Jesus for his bride and the setting up of the Kingdom.  
So along with this being the 120 th Jubilee and the 70 yrs since Israel became a nation and countless other date time  oddities.  I'm more excited than ever! God bless all of you.

looks like we're on the same page now! My husband keeps throwing that "NOKTDOH" at me.  I've repeatedly explained that Jesus wasn't talking about the rapture then and even if he was, it's an idiom that "still" points to the Feast of trumpets! But no dice. My own husband scoffing me up and down, left and right.  He just smiles at me as if I'm a moron and asks me what I want for my birthday.....

I told him that even if the resurrection doesn't happen, this still puts us at the beginning of the 6th seal and mr mormon, so biblically learned from his 15 yrs of early morning classes, 40+ years ago says "nope! It's not bad enough to be the time of tribulation yet.

Everyone I talk to looks at me like ive finally lost it.  And goes on to tell me about the things in their lives that they want to accomplish and they don't want the rapture to come.  I've even had peeps tell me they would rather se their children grow up and don't want to be raptured yet.... that doesn't even make sense to me.

This has been a bad year for me.  Lost most of my friends over politics and my abortion stance.  They called me a right wing nut. While they put on p-hats and marched with leftists.   I very much desire the rapture/resurrection.

But I am very happy and looking up at the same time.  I still stand by my 9/22 date, not that it matters. Ive seen ten times more 9/22 than 9/23 but I will take what I can get!! Heehee!
I have moved all my appointments off oh the 21st and 22 and I plan on spending the days in prayer.  
For the last decade we've watched destruction one after another happen all around us here in the Dallas metroplex while we go unscathed.  
So since my hubby will be out of town all next week, I made up a small survival pack to take with him. I figure its about time for my little part of the world to get some destruction.  I said here, Fire, water, food, bullets.  If that's all you will take from me after 20 yrs.  then so be it. I have done all i can.  I could cry right now, it's so frustrating.

The next few days are going to be especially hard for us.  Survivor and the Walking dead start soon.  My fav shows but I ain't no pillar of salt and I don't intend to be.  It's silly I know but old habits die hard, that's why I'm taking the days off, I want the Lord to know I recognize my priorities.  

I've been told that if the Sign comes and goes and nothing happens I should prepare myself for intense chiding and mockery.   It all goes into the Delfi book the Lord has on me. Maybe it will help balance out my debits.  Lolololol!!!! God Bless y'all.

Your husband story reminded me of an 'incident' here last week or so.  We were watching coverage of
Hurricane Harvey and I brought up weaponized weather-weather warfare.  And the world stopped turning there for a moment, and he slowly turned in his chair to look at me and said in a solemn voice, "you know, don't you, that what you just said to me is preposterous."
Sensing that 'slight' resistance, I let it go.  But, it cracks me up now every time I think of it.

I just saw your 2nd post.  I don't suppose it helps to say don't be upset.  But truly,
this is how it is for many of us who watch and wait.  I prefer to consider myself 'set apart' than isolated, but it's just what happens.  "Friends and family" want us to be like them, and that's just not going to happen anymore-it's not possible, and truth be told you'd never-I'd never-walk away from where we are in Christ and what we know and perceive in order to satisfy ANY other relationship.

But for those we love who don't see life or the future as we do, I'd have to push some verses pretty hard, but still I trust all will be well with them, no matter what.
I heard another short testimony this morning of a man who died in the o.r., and encountered the Presence of God.  It was 5 years ago and he was still brought to tears at the wonder of His Pure Love for us.  And THAT'S what I trust. Here.  Have a flower.

You know we've had really good sounding rapture dates before but the scoffing of this particular date is off the hook compared to those that came before.  I find that interesting.

I fixed your post for you. As for the 23rd I still stand by all my previous comments about it. Though prophetically significant in it's own right (and I don't deny that) I don't see a rapture. If by some chance I'm wrong y'all all can explain it to me on the way up.

I've often wondered how long the resurrection of the dead would take. Or if there was a short period of time in between them and the ones that remain.

Fine,   They all just gathered and then they trickle the way they didn't even blow a trumpet!  Now we have to wait to midnight when the rev 12 sign happens.   I'm not gonna lie and say that I'm not terribly terribly disappointed.  When the Lord pronounces 120 years for man and  it's 120th jubilee since Adam  it's not unreasonable to expect him to come at the last Trump.  And that damn hawk his back trying to eat my chickens!  I know this because I've been sitting out here all morning since eight.  What part of signs in the sun moon and stars in the waves roaring doesn't work out here! Seriously this is the only rapture watch that I really really really really thought was going to be true and now if it doesn't happen tonight it looks like we may have to go through the first half of the tribulation, and I don't even see how that's proper that the bride would be on the earth when the Devils here. Quite upset not that it matters
