Explaining Watcher Ufology through the lost history of the world.

Hi everyone. I have constructed a 4 part series that will takes us through the lost history of the world in a way that will draw a straight and logical line through every major epoch up to modern ufology. I think this will begin to make sense of the TDL books, as well as the many experiences in UFO abductions. If we follow this along it's course it can provide an explanation for all events in current ufology. It's a long read but I think there are some unique and important connections that are made here. I hope it will be interesting.





The Book of Enoch

The Book of Enoch describes a group of 200 watchers with 20 leaders of 10 that descend upon Mt Hermon in the days of Jared. Upon their arrival, they took for them wives and had children called Nephilim or giants and taught mankind the arts of civilization. Enoch describes 8 of the watchers specifically.

• Azâzêl - taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures.  ...There arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways.
  
• Semjâzâ taught enchantments, and root-cuttings.
  
• Armârôs the resolving of enchantments.
  
• Barâqîjâl taught astrology.
  
• Kôkabêl the constellations.
  
• Ezêqêêl the knowledge of the clouds.
  
• Araqiêl the signs of the earth.
  
• Shamsiêl the signs of the sun.
  
• Sariêl the course of the moon.
  

Initially their teachings improved the life of mankind; however, over time it began to corrupt them and brought horrible violence and war. "And as men perished, they cried, and their cry went up to heaven." The children of these watchers, the Nephilim, devoured the earth and when they had eaten everything, they turned on mankind as food.

Yahweh intervened by binding two of the angels; Azazel he bound in darkness, Semjaza and the angels under him he bound in the in the earth for 70 generations. In the Legends of the Jews, Semjaza is bound in the air..."he suspended himself between heaven and earth". Before Semjaza and his angels were bound they they were made to witness their sons and daughters, the Nephilim, slay one another (Enoch 10:9 &12).
 
The Nephilim, the offspring of the watchers and humankind, were cursed to be evil spirits in the earth...
"And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble: they take no food, but nevertheless hunger and thirst, and cause offenses. And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them." (Enoch 15:11)

Ancient Near East Accounts.

In the Ancient Near East we find a retelling of these same themes. In Assyria these watchers are called the Apkallu. In Sumeria they were known as the Igigi and later as the Anunnaki. The compound word Igigi comes from two root words: "Igi" meaning "eye" and "gi" meaning "to surround". This yields the compound meaning of the watchers, which also gives us a depiction of the surrounding stars in the night sky. The word Anunnaki comes from the root words: "Anu", the Sumerian creator god that resides in the heavens; "Ki", the earth; and Anunna, meaning offspring of Anu. This gives us a compound meaning of the offspring of Anu and Earth, which is to say the offspring of watchers and humans. This term, however, also includes the fallen Igigi who are no longer in heaven but under the earth. We get a depiction of their stations in the Erra epic….

"I will go up to heaven and issue instructions to the Igigi gods, I will go down to the depths and keep the Anunna gods in order. " (The Erra Epic)

Before the Anunnaki were cursed to the underworld, they were known as the seven sages. They were advisers to the preflood kings and brought the “ME”s of civilization. A "ME' was either a social construct or technology such as the plow. If you are interested, you can learn about the fall of these Apkallu from the Journal titled "On the Origin of the Watchers" by Amar Annus.

Greek Accounts.

The Greek accounts turn out to be crucial tool in seeing how the modern world is put into perspective by the ancient world. In the Greek accounts, we have the story of the Titanomachy, a great war between the Olympians and the Titans. The Titans were the children of Uranus (sky) and Gaia (earth), just as the Nephilim/Anunnaki (earth) were the children of the Watchers/Igigi (sky). There were 12 primal Titans, 2 of which in antiquity played more abstract roles, such as Chronos and Rhea, who later formed a more concrete role as mother and father of the Olympians. Many of the titans listed in the world are not described in the Greek accounts – for example, Oceanus. The remaining titans to which we have stories of seem to represent parts of the civilized world just like the “ME”s and the teaching of the watchers in Enoch.

• Themis - Brings law and council
  
• Hyperion ( Barâqîjâl )- Brings wisdom and light. Diodorus says "he was the first to understand, by diligent attention and observation, the movement of both the sun and the moon and the other stars, and the seasons as well". Hyperion also gives birth to helios (sun -  Shamsiêl ) and Selene (moon - Sariêl ).
  
• Phoebe - Prophetic Wisdom.
  
• Coeus – Intelligence.
  
• Mnemosyne - She produced the arts of civilization.
  
• Lapetus (Azazel) - Meaning Piercer or spear. He was thought of as the god of craftsmanship and mortality. He is the father 4 children through whom it is thought the worst traits of mankind come through.
  

These 10 Titans give birth to another series of Titans, including Atlas, who becomes a major leader of the Titanomachy while Chronos and Rhea produce the 12 Olympians, including Athena, which will play a major role later. This battle ends in the Titans being cast into the earth becoming the chthonic gods, and according to Hyginus, Atlas was cursed to hold the vault of the sky upon his shoulders playing a role similar to Semjaza, which we find bound between heaven and earth in the Legends of the Jews.

Atlantis - The Antediluvian Empire.

In the writings of Plato, we have the Timaeus and Critias in which we learn of an antediluvian empire of 10 kings who tried to take over the world. There was a continent to the west of the Strait of Gibraltar called Atlantis, named after it's foremost king...Atlas..the Titan. In the center of this continent was a magnificent plain. Within this plain was a very small and solitary mountain or hill in which lived a man and a woman who gave birth to a beautiful daughter whom they named Cleito. According to the legend Poseidon was overcome with her beauty and married her and produced 10 sons. In antiquity the god would have been called Oceanus, a primal titan associated with the Atlantic, while Poseidon became associated with the Mediterranean. The foremost of these sons was Atlas. The city was divided among the 10 with Atlas taking the central hill where there was a temple to his mother Cleito. Each ring of land contained a wall which was adorned by a metal. The outer being Bronze, the middle being Tin, and the inner being made of a red metal called Orichalcum.

So long as the divine blood of Oceanus lasted in the offspring of the Cleito, Atlantis remained a city of every virtue. However, over time, this blood was diluted, and the human nature took overtook it, and they became debased. During this time, they began to overtake Europe and had entered the Mediterranean as far as Italy. It is at this time that the Titanomachy begins and is recorded in the Timaeus. In this story Athena had risen up warriors to fight the invading Atlanteans and defeated them, but then all was lost in the great deluge…

"This power came forth out of the Atlantic Ocean, for in those days the Atlantic was navigable; and there was an island situated in front of the straits which are by you called the Pillars of Heracles; the island was larger than Libya and Asia put together, and was the way to other islands, and from these you might pass to the whole of the opposite continent which surrounded the true ocean; for this sea which is within the Straits of Heracles is only a harbour, having a narrow entrance, but that other is a real sea, and the surrounding land may be most truly called a boundless continent. Now in this island of Atlantis there was a great and wonderful empire which had rule over the whole island and several others, and over parts of the continent, and, furthermore, the men of Atlantis had subjected the parts of Libya within the columns of Heracles as far as Egypt, and of Europe as far as Tyrrhenia. This vast power, gathered into one, endeavoured to subdue at a blow our country and yours and the whole of the region within the straits; and then, Solon, your country shone forth, in the excellence of her virtue and strength, among all mankind. She was pre-eminent in courage and military skill, and was the leader of the Hellenes. And when the rest fell off from her, being compelled to stand alone, after having undergone the very extremity of danger, she defeated and triumphed over the invaders, and preserved from slavery those who were not yet subjugated, and generously liberated all the rest of us who dwell within the pillars. But afterwards there occurred violent earthquakes and floods; and in a single day and night of misfortune all your warlike men in a body sank into the earth, and the island of Atlantis in like manner disappeared in the depths of the sea. For which reason the sea in those parts is impassable and impenetrable, because there is a shoal of mud in the way; and this was caused by the subsidence of the island. "(Timaeus)

This deluge ended the antediluvian epoch.

In the Critias we find that the primordial world was governed by the allotment of the gods, and this is also how the story of Bablyon will end…

"In the days of old the gods had the whole earth distributed among them by allotment. There was no quarrelling; for you cannot rightly suppose that the gods did not know what was proper for each of them to have, or, knowing this, that they would seek to procure for themselves by contention that which more properly belonged to others. They all of them by just apportionment obtained what they wanted, and peopled their own districts; and when they had peopled them they tended us, their nurselings and possessions, as shepherds tend their flocks, excepting only that they did not use blows or bodily force, as shepherds do, but governed us like pilots from the stern of the vessel, which is an easy way of guiding animals, holding our souls by the rudder of persuasion according to their own pleasure;-thus did they guide all mortal creatures. Now different gods had their allotments in different places which they set in order. Hephaestus and Athene, who were brother and sister, and sprang from the same father, having a common nature, and being united also in the love of philosophy and art, both obtained as their common portion this land, which was naturally adapted for wisdom and virtue; and there they implanted brave children of the soil, and put into their minds the order of government; their names are preserved, but their actions have disappeared by reason of the destruction of those who received the tradition, and the lapse of ages." (Critias)

The Tower of Babel

We pick up after the flood in the Book of Genesis chapter 10. It lists the sons of Cush, but it doesn't list Nimrod as one of his sons. Instead, it says that Cush begot, or fathered, Nimrod. It then goes on to say that Nimrod was the first one to begin to be a mighty one, a giant as the stories tell, on the earth. It excludes him from the genealogies for that reason and says that he was a mighty hunter against the Lord. In Genesis Chapter 11 it says.

"Now the whole earth had one language and the same words. 2 And as people migrated from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. 3 And they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.” And they had brick for stone, and bitumen for mortar. 4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be dispersed over the face of the whole earth.”

If you will recall, the city of Atlantis was built upon a magnificent plain with a hill in the center. At the top of the hill, was a temple to Cleito, the mother of the Nephilim of Atlantis and the human wife of the god Oceanus. This city was staged with three metals, Bronze, Tin, and Orichalcum.

It is the belief of modern Biblical and Historical Scholarship that the Tower of Babel refers to a ziggurat and not a cylindrical tower. All the extra biblical myths concerning the tower describe it to be staged. We know the ziggurats were a large part of early Mesopotamia, and we find the building of these ziggurats to coincide with the same themes of the Bible, such as in "Enmerker and the Lord of Aratta" describing the erection of such a temple as well as the confusion of tongues.

The most likely candidate for the this ziggurat is Etemenanki, which means the Temple of the Foundation of Heaven and Earth. This is very much like the cosmic mountain or cosmic tree motif in the Ancient Near East. In the old legends, the cosmic tree or mountain reaches through the three planes of the universe, the under world, the earth, and the heavens. Ezekiel 31 is a good example of the cosmic tree motif. We can also see clear examples of this in the story of Jacobs Ladder where the angels descend upon a ladder (many say it was a ziggurat), or when the angels descended upon Mt. Hermon, or when Oceanus descended upon the hill where Cleito lay. It’s pretty easy to imagine it going up because we see it go up from the perspective of the earth, but it also went down, into the underworld. In the myth of Nergal and Ereshkigal, Nergal decends into the underworld through the ziggurat Simmiltu, the Temple of the Stairway to Pure Heaven in Sippar. So the ziggurats were seen as actual gateways between the underworld, earth and heaven. Babylon itself means Gate of god. If we look at the ProtoCuneiform of the word ABZU, which means the underworld, we find that it is a depiction of a ziggurat.

Now while they are called Temples they did not serve a religious function. There were specific buildings for that task. These were houses. Pallis S. writes…

“Anyone who has perused the whole of the material is struck by the remarkable fact that Etemenanki [the fabulous ziggurat of Babylon] is nowhere mentioned in the description of the course of the [akitu] festival though numerous other sacred localities in Babylon are referred to. Nor do we meet with any reference to ceremonies performed here. Indeed, I believe I may add that beyond the constant reference to the building of Etemenanki or "its head" in the inscriptions of the Neo-Babylonian kings, and the frequent mention of it in hymns where it is referred to or invoked in conjunction with Esagila, Ekur and other temples, we find nothing about Etemenanki or its religious uses in the entire Assyro-Babylonian literature” (1926 The Babylonian Akitu Festival)

Now it turns out there is a very good reason why these ziggurats were not used in the festival of Akitu, because this ziggurat isn’t just a gateway, it is a recreation of the hill of Atlantis with Cleito, right in the center. Harriet Crawford writes…

"It is usually assumed that the ziggurats supported a shrine, though the only evidence for this comes from Herodotus, and physical evidence is nonexistent. It has also been suggested by a number of scholars that this shrine was the scene of the sacred marriage, the central rite of the great new year festival. Herodotus describes the furnishing of the shrine on top of the ziggurat at Babylon and says it contained a great golden couch on which a woman spent the night alone. The god Marduk was also said to come and sleep in his shrine.”

Not only did it serve the same function, it had the same decorations as Atlantis. In the reconstruction of Etemenanki by Nebuchadnezzar he writes...

“I have completed its magnificence with silver, gold, other metals, stone, enameled bricks, fir and pine. The first which is the house of the earth’s base, the most ancient monument of Babylon; I built and finished it. I have highly exalted its head with bricks covered with copper.”

Remember the metallic colors of Atlantis were, Gold (Bronze) Tin (Silver) and the center Red Orichalcum (Copper). By some means, this ziggurat was a mouse trap for the Watchers, recreating the conditions in which Cleito tempted the watchers. This cosmic mountain reached up to the heavens at the temple head baited with a priestess laying in wait for the decent of a watcher. Upon seeing the plain in Shinar, Nimrod thought to restore the lost world of Atlantis with divine blood by tempting the watchers with women. The watchers fell in the past by their own temptations and rebellion, but Nimrod sought to overcome them with temptation, and by doing so he put himself at war with God.

Yahweh set himself against Nimrod, He destroyed the ziggurat, He cursed their language, and He dispersed them. When He destroyed the ziggurat He also destroyed the part of that cosmic mountain that reached to the heavens. The damage was already done, however, as a few of the Nephilim had already been born.  As mankind began to disperse, God assigned lands to them and reestablished the boundaries.  “When the Most High assigned lands to the nations, when he divided up the human race, he established the boundaries of the peoples according to the number in his heavenly court.” (Deuteronomy 32.

The destruction of Etemenanki would not stop man however. Three rulers have already tried to rebuild it. Nebuchadnezzar tried to rebuild it and went insane. Alexander the great tried to rebuild it but the remaining bricks hindered it’s rebuilding so he ordered it to be demolished so it could be rebuilt. Work began but Alexander died before it could be finished. Antiochus tried and while making a sacrifice for it’s rebuilding he tripped and fell and ordered it to be demolished. 

Etemenanki wasn’t the last ziggurat though. There were many after it all over the world. We find them in Mesopotamia, Egypt, Africa, Mesoamerica, South America, North America and Indonesia. After the Flood, Semjaza and the watchers under him were cast into the earth along with the spirits of the Nephilim. God destroyed the cosmic tree at it’s top, but it’s trunk still reached down into the earth and this is where Babylon rises up again.

There is a group in the Bible known as the Rephaim. The Bible uses this name in two senses. The Rephaim were real people in the land, they were giants like the Nephilim, but they were also treated as spirits of great warriors and kings from the underworld. So the same word refers to spirits and Nephilim.

Amar Annus has made a tremendous discovery which I will rely on heavily below, in linking the Rephaim to the Titans of Greece in his Journal “Are There Greek Rephaim”. Og, the great Rephaim and Nephilim king in the Bible, is also known as Ogygus in Greek and sometimes as the king of the Titans. According to Thallos, a first century Greek historian, Og is none other than Kronos. So here we already have a strong correlation between the Rephaim and the Titans. There was another Titan king in Greek mythology known as Merops the ruler of the Island Cos. On that island is a sanctuary to Asclepius the healer. As Astour explains…

“the oldest king of the island [Cos]  was Merops; after the sudden death of his wife, the nymph Echemeia, slain by Artemis, he attempted suicide, but was changed by Hera into an eagle, and placed in the sky as the constellation Aquila. (Astour 1965: 247)

“His son Eumelos and the three children of the latter worshiped only the earth and did not recognize any other gods; they insulted Hermes, Athena, and Artemis, who visited them, and were therefore changed into birds. Worshiping the earth alone is an obvious relic of the chthonic nature of the entire Meropid family”(Astour 1965: 247)

Astour traces this idea of the Meropid family being turned into birds back to the Babylonian view of owls as evil spirits. Astour says…
[They were] “dual: like the spirits of the dead, whom the owl personifies, it is considered both a giver of abundance and an object of fright.” (Astour 1965: 244)


Astour further ties the Meropid family to the Rephaim...

“Their name puzzled scholars: they could see no relationship between spirits of the dead and the notion of medicine, implicated in the root of their name rapha’ “to heal,” whence rophe “physician.”There were proposals to derive their name from the root rapha “to be weak, to go down,”which was believed to indicate the weakness and immateriality of the shadows in Hades. But there is no need to distort the root, depriving it of it’s radical aleph. Those who are amazed by the etymology of Rephaim from rapha’ simply do not understand the organic association between the notions of the Nether World – the chthonic cycle – and of healing, i.e. granting health, strength, fertility, and fecundity” (Astour 1965: 233-34)

Spronk affirms the same ancient near east derivation…

“The common ancient Near Eastern conception of the spirits of the dead taking the physical form of birds is also attested in the literature of Ugarit. The rpum are described as fluttering (ndd); they are startled like birds (ndd D-stem). Apparently they were believed to come like birds to the holy place to enter the company of the gods.” (Spronk 1986: 167.)

The Rpum (Rephaim) were seen as warriors and healers who could bestow their power to the living making a living Rephaim.

“As rpum the deified dead appear as warriors, but more important seems to be their help as healers and in securing the welfare of the city. They posses healing power like the rpu par excellence, Ball, who healed, i.e. revived them. This power, which can also be given to the living king, is the power to overcome death.” (Spronk 1986: 195.)

I cannot quote everything from Amar Annus’s work, but he makes a very strong tie between the Greek Titans and the Rephaim, which is publicly available. Now when God destroyed the top of this cosmic tree mankind was cut off from this gateway to “heaven”. Mankind could no longer seek to be divinely infused from the heavens, however, these fallen watchers were not gone, they became the chthonic gods. The gateway along this cosmic tree became reversed from reaching into the heavens to reaching into the earth for the healing and divine infusing of the Rephaim (Titans). The following is one such incantation found among the Amorites, a tribe of the giants.

“You are summoned, O Rephaim of the earth,
You are invoked, O council of the Didanu!
Ulkn, the Raphi’, is summoned,
Trmn, the Raphi’, is summoned,
Sdn-w-rdn is summoned,
Ṯr ‘llmn is summoned,
the Rephaim of old are summoned!
You are summoned, O Rephaim of the earth,
You are invoked, O council of the Didanu!” (The great inception part 8 skywatchtv) KTU 1.161)

Hesiod in his Works and Days writes...

“First of all the deathless gods who dwell on Olympus made a golden race of mortal men who lived in the time of Cronos when he was reigning in heaven. And they lived like gods without sorrow of heart, remote and free from toil and grief: miserable age rested not on them; but with legs and arms never failing they made merry with feasting beyond the reach of all evils. When they died, it was as though they were overcome with sleep, and they had all good things; for the fruitful earth unforced bare them fruit abundantly and without stint. They dwelt in ease and peace upon their lands with many good things, rich in flocks and loved by the blessed gods. But after earth had covered this generation -- they are called pure spirits dwelling on the earth, and are kindly, delivering from harm, and guardians of mortal men; for they roam everywhere over the earth, clothed in mist and keep watch on judgements and cruel deeds, givers of wealth; for this royal right also they received;” (Hesiod, works and days)

These chthonic god and spirits essentially become the source of god worship on earth after the flood and explains why God was so adamant about not speaking to the dead or worshiping other gods. In Deuteronomy 32:16-17 Moses tells us about the beginning of this new age after the Tower of Babel. “They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.
They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.”This becomes the Babylonian world system that promulgates through the ancient near east forming the worship of the Baals and is carried over to all parts of the world where we find the ziggurats. This trunk of the old cosmic tree remained intact until Jesus arrived on Earth and uprooted it putting an end to this Babylonian epoch.

In the works of Eusebius, his Praeparatio Evangelica writes of the former world and the new world beginning with the “death of pan”.

Eusebius on the demon spirits of the old gods…
“THESE then, being certain daemons who dwell about the earth and underground, and haunt the heavy and cloudy atmosphere over the earth, and have been condemned, for causes which we shall afterwards allege, to inhabit this dark and earthly abode, love to dwell in graves and monuments of the dead and in all loathsome and impure matter, and delight in bloodshed and gore and the bodies of animals of all kinds, and in the exhalation from the fumes of incense and of vapours rising out of the earth. These and their rulers, who are certain powers of the air, or of the nether world, having observed that the human race was grovelling low about the deification of dead men, and spending its labour very zealously upon sacrifices and savours which were to them most grateful, were ready at hand as supporters and helpers of this delusion; and gloating over the miseries of mankind, they easily deceived silly souls by certain movements of the carved images, which had been consecrated by them of old in honour of the departed, and by the illusions produced by oracles, and by the cures of bodies, which these same daemons were secretly ravaging by their own operation, and then again releasing the men and letting them go free from suffering.
Hereby they the more drove the superstitious headlong into supposing sometimes that they were heavenly powers and certain real gods, and at other times that they were the souls of the deified heroes.
From this cause the belief in the polytheistic error began now to be regarded by the multitude as something greater and more venerable, as their thought passed from what was visible to the invisible nature of those who were hidden in the statues, and so confirmed the delusion more strongly.” (Praeparatio Evangelica chapter 2)

Eusebius then goes on to describe the death of Pan from the accounts of Plutarch…

“'Now with regard to the death of such beings, I have heard a story from a man who was no fool nor braggart. For the father of Aemilianus the rhetorician, whose hearers some of us have been, was Epitherses, my fellow citizen and grammar-master. He said that once on a voyage to Italy he embarked in a ship carrying merchandise and many passengers: and at evening off the Echinades the wind dropped, and the ship drifted and came near to Paxi; that most of them were awake, and were drinking after they had supped. And suddenly a voice was heard from the island Paxi, some one calling aloud on Thamus, so that they were amazed. For Thamus was the pilot, an Egyptian, not even known by name to many of those on board. Though called twice however, he kept silence, but the third time he answered him that called. He then raised his voice higher and said, "When thou art come off Pelodes, announce that the Great Pan is dead." (Praeparatio Evangelica chapter 17)

There was a very real consequence to this death of Pan. The former epoch of Babylon where the Rephaim, the Titans of old, gave boon to man ended upon Jesus’s arrival. At the declaration of this death of Pan the oracles ceased, inspiring Plutarchs work on “the cessation of the oracles”. It goes further than this though, Christians are actually blamed for this as Eusebius relates...

“Nor, since the divine power of our Saviour in the Gospel shone forth like light upon all men, is any man now so mad as to dare to propitiate the murderous and bloodthirsty and misanthropic and inhuman daemons by the murder of his best-beloved, and by the slaughter of men in sacrifices, such as the sages and kings of old, being verily possessed by daemons, loved to practice.
But with regard to the fact that the evil daemons no longer have any power to prevail since our Saviour's advent among men, the very same author who is the advocate of the daemons in our time, in his compilation against us, bears witness by speaking in the following manner:
[PORPHYRY] 'And now they wonder that for so many years the plague has attacked the city, Asclepius and the other gods being no longer resident among us. For since Jesus began to be honoured, no one ever heard of any public assistance from the gods.'
This is Porphyry's statement in his very words. If then, according to this confession, 'since Jesus began to be honoured no one ever heard of any public assistance from the gods, because neither Asclepius nor the other gods were any longer resident,' what ground is there henceforth for the opinion that they are gods and heroes?” (Praeparatio Evangelica chapter 1)

Thus begins our modern world of skepticism over the tales of the past. We are at this time free from this old world, but this is not the last world. There is still yet one more battle, a prophecy, and short return of the old world.

So far in this Journey through the earth ages we have looked at ancient texts written regarding the past or the present. I started with the Book of Enoch, but what if I told you that the Book of Enoch was not written for those present in Enoch's time? What if it was a message from the past written for you right now? The Book of Enoch begins with this foreboding message…

“The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. 2. And he took up his parable and said--Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come. (Enoch chapter 1)

What is most interesting about this verse is the tense in which it is written. Enoch uses the past tense of the word blessed to say that he has already blessed a future generation that has not emerged. It’s as if he knows his account will play an integral role in the last days. We can also get a sense for this danger in the book of Revelation where we hear of the unbinding of old world angels sealed within the earth. “It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.”(Revelation 9:14)

Enoch says that Semjaza and the angels under him will be bound for 70 generations, unto the day of final judgment. Given the difference in ages from Enoch’s time to ours, it’s hard to get an idea for when this time period will take place. If we take a generation to be 70 years, and the events described in Enoch to be 3000 BC, that puts us at the 1900’s but there is really no sure way to calculate this. If we could, that would make the tribulation something we could calculate. What we can do, however, is look at the times we live in and see if it relates to the times in which Enoch lived.
In Enoch’s time, the watchers intimately revealed the arts and technologies of civilization to man. The 1900’s marked the beginning of an acceleration of technological development the world had never seen before.

• 1910’s Cars began to compete with horses as the mainstream form of transportation.
  
• 1920’s Radio stations.
  
• 1930’s Blue prints were being developed for the atom bomb. Televisions started being sold.
  
• 1940’s V2 rockets, transistors, atomic bombs, mainstream television, sound barrier is broken, vertical takeoff disc shaped aircraft called “Haunebu”.
  
• 1950’s Nuclear Power, 1st maned space travel, color television, first satellite, Thermonuclear weapons, and the computer and the hard drive.
  
• 1960’s Lasers, Unix and the moon landing.
  
• 1970’s Email, personal calculators, microprocessors, video games, capacitive touch screens (CERN), internet protocol.
  
• 1980’s Flash Memory, CD roms, Commercially available cell phones.
  
• 1990’s  World wide web is introduced to the public, DVDs, USB.
  

In 1910 people were honking at buggies to get of the road, and then 50 years latter, mankind landed on the moon. That is a massive leap. Lets put that in perspective – it took over 2000 years to transition from the Bronze age to the Iron age. That technological development isn’t slowing down either, it’s speeding up and in many cases it’s keeping a faster pace than even our imagination. The late 1940’s seemed to be a crucial point in this technological acceleration.

What about the Nephilim? In the book of Enoch it says that the cursed spirits of the Nephilim will “afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble: they take no food, but nevertheless hunger and thirst, and cause offenses. And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them.”

According to Malachi Martin there has been a 750% increase in exorcisms between the 1960’s and 70’s. Almost concurrently with our technological development there has been a moral, ethical, and religious decline. Spirituality has increased, but entirely devoid of any guiding doctrine.

We can actually track this technological advancement with occult practices, and events.

• In 1918 Aleister Crowley began the Amalantrah working, which was a magical ritual to open a portal for communication with other worldly beings. One of the beings he was in contact with, LAM, looks eerily similar to the modern gray alien. Lam revealed to Aleister Crowley new guidelines for mankind. According to occultists, this portal is still open and widening.
  
• 1924 Maria Orsic begins channeling air craft schematics in Sumerian and Templar script from beings from other worlds.
  
• In 1935 Hitler creates the Ahnenerbe, tasked with rediscovering the occult lost inheritance of the ancestors.
  
• In 1939 Hitler begins kidnapping children for his genetics program called the Lebensborn to restore an old race.
  
• In 1944 Foo Fighters are witnessed flying with American and Nazi air forces.
  
• In 1946 Jack Parsons of JPL completed what he called the Babylon Working under the guidance of Aleister Crowley. The purpose of which was to open a portal from which the “scarlet woman” of Babylon could incarnate a child. 
  
• In 1947 Kenneth Arnold witnessed the test flight of a flying wing which he described as disc or saucer shaped on the radio to which it was dubbed a flying saucer. After which people began seeing flying saucers all over the world.
  
• In 1957 Antonio Vilas Boas is abducted in the first major abduction case and forced into producing hybrid offspring.
  
• In 1961 Betty and Barney Hill are abducted and forced into genital exams and semen extraction.
  
• Sometime later abductions begin to develop heavily towards reproduction, hybridization of aliens and humans, and cultural assimilation of hybridized children in human society. In many cases there are strange accounts of cloning and soul work. In these accounts the bodies of people are cloned and souls placed into those bodies. Other times a person is cloned and their own soul is placed into the clone.
  

The modern UFO experience has all of the essential properties of the stories in Enoch, we have the debasement of humankind, the hybridization, and the technological development of mankind. Every sign we should look for is now happening.

However the beings that are witnessed in the modern UFO experience are not from another world. Like spirits they are not subject to natural law. They do not overcome natural law by an advancement in technology, their technology does and always has followed with our own as is evidenced in the history of UFO sightings. These beings fly through mountain walls and live in spaces that do not exist in mountains. They walk through walls but take people out through closed windows. It is a psycho-physical experience.

One of the biggest pieces of evidence that has led me to this conclusion is Graham Hancocks observations of psychedelics like Ayahuasca. Typical alien abduction experiences are quite common during these experiences, as well as Apkallu type encounters. One could say then, from this, that the entire experience is in the mind, except for the fact that there are physical effects that occur simultaneously to the experience. Sometimes quite harmful and deadly.

The other reason is that there is no coherent overall picture of alien contact. Each contact is distinct to the person. With so many contacts, it has been theorized they are all from different species and sub species, but what we end up with is an extremely crowded and extravagant universe of life traveling several light years to obsess over earth and mankind. They lie as well, always changing their origin to adapt to modern discovery. 

They are not worldly beings, but primordial and before natural law. These are the watchers, the fallen angels from the antediluvian world. Enoch even warns us against their deception. “And Uriel said to me: 'Here shall stand the angels who have connected themselves with women, and their spirits assuming many different forms are defiling mankind and shall lead them astray...” (Enoch Chapter 19). If we study the body of modern UFO abduction experiences, we can see that this age is just one more point along the straight path of mankind's history. In the last epoch the Rephaim were bound, but in this epoch, it would appear from their actions that the fallen watchers seek to restore their spirit children the Rephaim into worldly bodies. To an extent this is something we should expect in Revelation given the Antichrist, but the Bible may have more to say on it. In the LXX it says “I give command, and I bring them: giants are coming to fulfill my wrath, rejoicing at the same time and insulting” (Isaiah 13:3 ). In Daniel we find a plain reading of this outcome. “And whereas thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men; but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron doth not mingle with clay.” (Daniel 2:43)

I keep the door open to Pre-Adamite. There is a lot the hypothesis solves so I tend to consider them both simultaneously to see where things lead.

If anyone is a believer in the flat earth because of a biblical attachment to Job 26:10 let me know. I have a different explanation than modern scholarship for that verse that may alleviate the attachment of flat earth to Biblical belief.

I can't resist this. There is much "speculation" that Hillary Clinton could "possibly" be the whore of Babylon. The timing of her hatching . . . er, uh BIRTH, on October 26, 1947  is right for this. Jacobs ladder is probably the most explicit example. After having the vision of Angels decending from heaven Jacob says in Gen 28:16 “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” ¹⁷ And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”

He actually took the location of Bethel (which means house of El or God) as the house of God and a gate to heaven. There is a cohabitation of earth with the spiritual realm.  I don't understand it but it's what the old world knew and operated under.

Another verse is Daniel 10:13. Daniel prays and the answer is granted to him, but the messenger of that answer is detained by the angelic prince of Persia for 21 days. He was only released by the intercession of Michael.

Another is the battle of Judges 5. Judges 5 describes all the human participants of a great battle against the Canaanites, but then it switches to a heavenly battle at verse 20 being waged simultaneously with the earthly battle. The angel of the Lord even curses "Meroz" for not showing up to the Lords army in the heavenly battle. Meroz isn't a person but the inhabitants of a section of the heavenly realm. It's cosmic geography, hard to imagine but it's there all the same.

On the "that guy was empty" part I'm CONVINCED that a lot of the (so called) people walking around today are NOT all human! Y'all both need to get and read a new book just published titled "The Great Inception" by Derek Gilbert. I just finished reading it a few days ago and Derek covers most of the stuff this thread is about. From Adam & Eve, apkallu (watchers) both pre and post flood, tower of babel, Nimrod, all the stories, myths, legends of the middle eastern Sumer, Ugarit, etc. etc. etc. Presented from the views of the people of the period as best he could, as well as Biblical views and some of church fathers views as well. It's heady stuff and I got lost in all the name changes going from society to society, Ur, to Egypt, to Greek, to all over the place. The names change but the story basically stays the same.


I'm really not all into Egyptian, Greek, Roman, or whomever pantheons of gods but this book is a really interesting read and connected a lot of dots up for me. Like I said before, I get all lost with the name changes. That stuff makes my hair hurt trying to keep track of 'em all.

He didn't leave the nephilim out, Og, raphaim, etc. and books like Enoch 1 and Jasher and Jubilees as well as others play a major roll in fleshing out the Biblical narrative. Derek pulls a lot in from Michael Heiser and the Divine Counsel and connects it to mankind's fall too. Most interesting that he sees Eden connected to heaven and we were originally to be part of that divine counsel. I tell you . . . that floored me and I don't floor easily. It made sense. Inception is on my list. That book is actually what let me finally complete this thought line. I was following the inception serial on Skywatch where I learned that Amar Annus released another publication and that finally gave me a complete picture to draw a straight line through the epochs.

Lately I have been wondering if the locusts are a reference to the Girtablilu. They were scorpion Apkallu that match the depiction in Revelation exactly. The purpose was to guard the gate of the underworld, or the abyss and that is exactly what they are seen coming out of in Revelation. This Apkallu is known on both sides of the world and is depicted in both Mesopotamia and Mexico. In Jasher 36 there is also some sort of man like stinging Apkallu with a tail that are fleeing a pursuer, perhaps to be bound.


I still don't know what to make of the reference though. I haven't figured out how to comprehend the involvement of the Apkallu in a physical sense.

There is also an abyss constellation (Eridanus) located in the celestial sea section of the heavens. This constellation is a super void (no galaxies) and is thought to contain an Ort cloud (nest of meteors). Meteor showers radiate from the Abyss every year. I'm still trying to figure out a good way of classifying some of these "gods" we hear about. He could be an Apkallu or more specifically a divine council member. I'm not sure how high up the term Apkallu can reach.


Another possibility besides epigenetics is Atavism. It is basically when very ancient DNA becomes dominant. For example if you were descended from Gilgamesh who was 2/3 "god" your child could inexplicably express the phenotypes of a Nephilim rather than modern man.

When I wrote this I was honestly a bit shocked that there would be a historical link between ETs and Owls. However I wrote it down because that is where the history led. It is interesting that you bring up the topic of owls having a relationship with UFO/esoteric /supernatural phenomenon.  If you will take a look in the upper right hand corner of one of those dollar bills in your wallet, you will find a little owl staring at you.  And if you will take a look at the main character at bohemian grove, it's this big ass owl.  There is this age old connotation with an owl and wisdom, and I can see where that might have something to do with" ancient wisdom" meaning the ancient wisdom and secret's that were revealed to the sons of Adam, and/or, Cain.  You do see the image of an owl in lots of ancient symbolism, especially in Egyptian hieroglyphics.  Now, let me make myself very clear, there is absolutely no evidence of any life anywhere in the universe other than are right here on planet earth.  It is not alluded to anywhere in the bible, but life coming from another dimension is an absolute reality.

DING - connection completed! Need I remind anyone here about how movies and TV programs introduce us - bombard us - and we are numbed and dumbed-down and completely unaware of the things introduced to our subconscious. I've been watching the "Earth Final Conflict" series with friends on Sunday evenings. There is a precursor race called "the  Atavus" that the current alien race (the Taelons) descended from. They can revert back to the Atavis state sometimes though, and of course, they do.

Our dollar is so very strange. I had always thought that the pyramidal eye was decending onto the base, but it's actually right where it should be. What is missing are the layer of bricks to complete the pyramid and connect with the capstone. That is the part we build, the undertaking described above it.. Very much like a tower of babel. 

I have often wondered about the difference between the great pyramid and a ziggurat. If a ziggurat is a ladder where angels ascend and descend from heaven what is a pyramid? Perhaps its slippery slope represents it being cut off from heaven but open to the underworld. That concept may be what has inclined the Egyptians to build private pyramidal tombs for its deceased citizens which ziggurats were never used for. I don't think the great pyramid was ever a tomb though, it has parts, and parts serve to complete intended functions, which in this case can only be spiritual.

There is a lot of speculation about pyramids, and what they really are and what they mean.  It seems everybody has a different opinion, a burial tomb does not even come close to the great pyramids of giza.  It's interesting to read about them, and listen to all kinds of so called experts talk about them but the reality of it is, it does not appear that any one has a damn clue what the function or the meaning of those structures were.  There are pyramid structures all a round the world, South America, Mexico, China and the most interesting of them all shows up in a photograph taken by an airplane pilot flying over the continent of  antartica.  It appears, by my way of thinking, that all of these pyramids were built before the flood of Noah by a race of people with supernatural origins, or were hybrids living in a preternatural state.  There is a story in the book of Enoch where Enoch was commissioned by the Ancient of Days to perform a specific task, and some speculate that Enoch was put in charge over the nephillim of building the great pyramid of giza.  I am sure that you have read or heard about all of the other theories concerning the pyramids, but no one really knows for sure, but it is fun to speculate.
