In the last three days a swarm of small earthquakes started in Long Valley Caldera just East of Mammoth Mountain. This activity follows on a seismic uptick in the USA that started in June.

Three planetary alignments occur on the 15th and 16th raising the possibility of magnitude 6+ seismic activity between the 15th and 18th.
