The box  "[ ]" is the kill box.  Insert  FB, twitter, etc.

The kill box is police code, which I've never seen, but Q uses it.  The precise code is [187] and means killed, as in murdered.  But Q has put certain persons initials in the box.  In those instances it can imply 'terminated', as in 'fired', 'resigned', or going down...such as FB is going down.

Now, 'going down' can mean wiped out, cease to do business, or will not continue to do business as it has.
If he puts a person's initials in the box, it's like saying they're in the cross hairs and action, usually against them, is forthcoming.

He has put someone's initials up followed by [187] Barlow was one such person, and that means they died, and the implication is they were in fact killed.
Imyself just can't say  100% he was murdered, just because of how Q communicates sometimes.  Someone else might say absolutely he was murdered.
