Allow me to dream a little.
Maybe this will be the goose that laid the golden egg and push American companies to produce the things we use right here in the US of A again. Would be nice if in the process we made things that had some lasting power with decent warranties that didn't need replacing every few years like most Chicom stuff too. Price might be higher, wage slaves would complain, but in the end a win for the consumer and for the country.
Phones should last 10 or more years, Same with TV sets and most electronics. These things are upgradable with simple downloads. No excuses!
Major appliances, washer/drier, stove, refrigerator, HVAC, etc. should last at least 25 years and come with 5-10 year warranties.
Automobiles, 10 year warranties bumper to bumper excluding items that take heavy wear like tires.
Well . . . I can wish in one hand and poop in the other and see which hand fills the fastest.
