Citing president Donald Trump’s treatment of women, minorities, and illegal immigrants, West Hollywood’s city council has passed a resolution aimed at removing his star from the Walk of Fame. The city’s mayor said the Trump administration’s policy on separating children from parents was also a reason to have his star removed.

I read that this vote isn't legally binding as it was an advisory vote only. Still, it's disturbing as all frick.

I didn't think they could do that, because I heard many years ago, that any so called star, who wanted a star there had to pay for it themselves. So.….if Mr Trump has a star, he would have had to pay for it too, so.....can they do that????

Yaddy's right.  They do have to pay for their stars.  So they probably cannot remove it.
