The Marcal Paper Plant in Elmwood Park, NJ appears to have just collapsed. Wind is whipping and carrying embers several blocks. Neighbors say fire has spread to nearby homes @CBSNewYork

Smoke plume from the massive fire in New Jersey is showing up on radar. The plume is crossing Washington Heights, The Bronx, parts of Queens and out onto Long Island. The plume is showing up at nearly 10,000 feet above the ground too!
