JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (WCJB)-- A Missouri man faces charges after he was accused of leaving a dog in a ditch with its mouth and legs duct taped.The animal was found by a Jefferson County sheriff's deputy on Thursday, according to a report from KMOV.The dog, who was later named "Jimmy" by animal hospital workers, was malnourished and may have suffered a concussion.39-year-old Paul Garcia is accused of taping      Jimmy's snout. Detectives say Garcia threw the dachshund out of a car window nearly 12 hours before he was found.Temperatures had warmed up to the 30s by the time deputies found Jimmy, FLICK. but had been in the teens the night before. He was rushed to animal hospital where he was said to be doing much better.Jimmy's real owner was later found and confirmed his real name is Flick. There are plans for them to be reunited.Meanwhile, Garcia was charged with felony animal abuse and armed criminal action. He was booked into jail on $50,000 bond. |

| Just last night I was looking at some of the breeders here in Calif. for.... guess ... another Dachshund pal.
Pinterest got me started looking since I had a dog catagory checked. Some cute pup's popped up and I was hooked for hours.
I truly hope Flick's master loves him and reuniting goes well. |
