This is good. It was one of my favorite miniseries back then ... and the series remake of 10 years ago , is also good. It features even how deception plays into what's going on now. Really good in my opinion.

We watched it too, but in the 70's Not the 80's....what happened.....was it the wrong date or something? Or was it shown earlier here in Australia?

Nope - first release 1983. Production and filming didn't even start until the early 1980's. Wikipedia has a nice article on it. You must be thinking of something else similar, Yaddy.
