Where should you put money? Non-Member banks don't fall under the control of Fed Reserve. 2008 bank crisis was created to force banks like Goldman Sachs to become Fed Reserve bank for 'protection'. Examples of non-member banks: Bank of the West, GMAC Bank, and the Bank of North Dakota. For example, in Texas, the State Bank of Texas is non-member. But MOST national banks are Fed Reserve banks.
