I have soooo snagged this! I created a folder years ago titled "Divine Counsel Studies" where I store things devoted to that subject. This is going right into it as soon as I rename it.

i wonder if this counts as "mass emailing" lol
any who....its a GREAT BOOK!

I downloaded the PDF book to read but it has an image on every page that covers some of the text. Is that what you all see also?

Yeah, I have the same. I think he's using it kinda like a protection watermark. Doubt it'll be there when the final edit goes into printing. At least it's light in color and doesn't interfere with the texts readability.

Mine is impossible to read through. Perhaps it's because I'm using my phone?

I'm about half through it and I'm really enjoying the read. I have no problem viewing it at all. Michael Heiser is one of my favorites and every time I read or listen to his work I come away from it saying.......Wow!

Just checked it using a laptop and I can read it just fine now. Dumb phone.

this is fascinating....i just hope that i can get it all read before it gets taken down.....

Uh, you do know that you can download and save it to your computer, don't you? Your PDF reader should have a save function, usually an icon of a little floppy diskette.

This subject M Heiser discusses is most interesting. I have wondered for a long time if there was not more that should be taken away from statements recorded in the scripture. For example, the one above which is a statement Jesus makes to Judas - at least on the face of it. Earlier of course, "Satan" is described as entering into Judas at the last supper. This seems significant in that it might appear that jesus is really looking pas the human person of Judas to address the one behind; or the one who has entered into Judas. This is the real betrayal; the unseen force behind the physical. This is the real drama being played out here. Just a thought.

Heiser refers to the Psalm 22 prophesy of the "bulls of Bashan" surrounding the scene dipicted as a Jesus on the cross. Most interesting read.
