Million Muslim March Planned in DC on Anniversary of 9-11

A group called The American Muslim Political Action Committee (AMPAC) is planning a one million Muslims march to Washington D.C. on September 11th. The timing of the group's march is seen by many as tasteless (to say the least) considering it is scheduled for the anniversary of the worst domestic massacre in American history perpetrated in the name of Islam. AMPAC ups the tasteless quotient by issuing "demands" for the American government:

Quote :: We at AMPAC (American Political Action Committee) are planning an historic event for 9.11.13 where one million Muslims will march to Washington D.C. and demand that our civil rights be protected by our government.

We are demanding that laws be enacted protecting our 1st amendment . We are asking President Obama to fulfill his promise from his first campaign for Presidency of a transparent government. Lastly we are asking for the release of the 9/11 commission report to the American people.

The group seems to rationalize the date chosen for their march by claiming that the media has been lying to the American people with regard to the role Islam played in the 9/11 attacks:

Muslim and Non Muslim alike were traumatized but we as Muslims continue 12 years later to be victimized by being made the villains. To this day every media outlet and anti Islamic organization has committed slanderous and libel statements against us as Muslims and our religion of Islam.

Yet our Government either sits idly by and does nothing to protect our freedoms or it exacerbates the problem with its constant war on terrorism in Islamic countries, congressional hearings on Islam in America, and its changes to the NDAA law.

These lies told to the American population has made it impossible for us to do true Dawa. Why do we have to defend our religion while doing Dawa? Why can’t we just share the perfection of the Quran and the beauty of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SWS)?

There is also a Moab, Utah where much of our uranium is mined. I have a small [maybe two ounces] sample of U-ore from there that makes my two Geiger counters go completely berserk. See that yellow counter in the second video? For the curious, that's the same model I have.

FINAL DETAILS FROM THE NATIONAL "2 MILLION BIKERS TO DC" TEAM:

Washington DC has DENIED our permit for a no-stop ride through Washington DC. We find this regretful for the residents and businesses of that great city, and humbly offer our apologies. What could have been a one or two hour ride through will now likely be an all day event. We will be obeying all laws. We will be stopping at all stoplights, stop signs, and yielding to all pedestrians.

RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES OF WASHINGTON DC: On behalf of the National "2 Million Bikers to DC" Team, please accept our sincere apologies. We did the right thing and went through the proper channels to secure a no-stop permit to ride through your great city. We wanted to ride an established route, which would have taken us past the Viet Nam Memorial to the Lincoln Memorial, across the bridge into Virginia, and that's it! We would have been completely out of Washington DC, and your city would have been back to normal.

The National Team fully expected our permit to be rejected, and have already drafted a Plan-B. That Plan-B will be posted a little later today once the final details have been bolted down.

You have freely given of your time, your funds, and your bikes to ride shoulder to shoulder in this event. You have have left your families and your jobs to be here. Those of us who ride come from different clubs, chapters, and organizations. Some of us ride with family and friends and some ride alone. But on September 11th, we ride as one!! We ride to pay tribute and offer respect to those that lost their lives on that day 12 years ago, and to salute our troops engaged in the War on Terror. Attendees at a sparsely attended Million American March Against Fear were met with protests by a small group of Christians on the National Mall Wednesday.

U.S. Park Police were keeping the group of protesters back. Several displayed signs with messages such as "Muhammad is a liar" and were yelling to the Muslim attendees, reported News4's Mark Segraves.
About 25 people -- including activist Cornel West -- were at the march as of 12:30 p.m., Segraves reported.

The event was known as the Million Muslim March during planning stages, but
organizers said
they thought the earlier name was "scary."

Organizers from the American Muslim Political Action Committee (AMPAC) say they are "patriotic Muslims" who are demanding new laws to protect their First Amendment rights.

Approximately 20 protesters were also at the scene, Segraves said. It was not clear whether they were from a specific church or organization.

The rally included prayers, speeches and a moment of silence to remember the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

"In the past 12 years since 9/11 the United States government as failed to protect and promote Constitutional liberties and human life, here and abroad," read part of a statement on AMPAC's website. "We feel that accountability in government has been ignored and the time has arrived to collectively speak truth to power."

Many non-Muslim Americans are terrified of Muslims, who are portrayed by Hollywood and the US media as fanatical terrorists. Muslims, too, live in fear – of being dragged off in the night to Guantanamo and tortured, simply for the crime of being Muslim in the wrong place at the wrong time.

After discussing the matter with both Muslim and non-Muslim leaders last week of January 2013, the American Muslim Political Action Committee (AMPAC) has decided to abandon the “scary” Million Muslim March. Instead, it will launch a Million American March Against Fear. The march will still be taking place at the National Mall in Washington, DC. And it will still be held on September 11th, 2013.

Why march against fear on 9/11?

September 11th, 2001 was the beginning of a new era of fear. Since 9/11, Americans have been terrorized by the media. They have been taught to fear their neighbors. They have been inculcated with fear of other religions. They have been brainwashed into fearing people with brown skins, turbans, and foreign accents.

The BBC documentary The Power of Nightmares explains how global political elites have embraced the politics of fear. As the BBC film explains, all of this fear is based on myth, not reality. The BBC even admitted: “Al Qaeda is a myth.”

Whether or not Al Qaeda is completely mythical, the so-called “Islamic terrorist threat” is pure hallucination. FBI statistics prove that Americans are far more likely to drown in their bathtubs, or be hit by lightning, than to be killed by terrorists of any kind. And Muslims commit only 6% of terrorist attacks in the US – fewer than are committed by radical Jews, and vastly fewer than those perpetrated by leftists and hispanics.

There is no reason for Americans to be afraid of Muslims.

And Muslims should not be afraid of non-Muslim Americans. Most Americans are generous, tolerant, and committed to American ideals of religious freedom. It is only a certain faction of American elites who have hijacked the nation and turned it away from its Constitution.

It is time to tell the politicians that we are not afraid of each other – or of them.

It is time for us to stop cowering in our homes, and take to the streets.

It is time to join together and reject the politics of fear.

It is time to speak out and reject the destruction of the Constitution of the United States of America. The neocons were able to shred the Constitution because they succeeded, temporarily at least, in making us afraid of each other. But there is nothing to fear. Terrorism is not a statistically significant threat.

They wrote the Patriot Act before 9/11, and rushed it out immediately after 9/11. We accepted it because we were afraid. The two US Senators who were not sufficiently fearful – Tom Daschle and Patrick Leahy – got US government anthrax in the mail.

After that, they too were afraid. They stopped asking questions about 9/11 and the Patriot Act, and just went along with the program.

But as the 12th anniversary of 9/11 approaches, we now know that there is nothing to fear. The whole “terrorist threat” is a hoax invented by fear-mongering politicians to control our minds and pick our pockets.

We shouldn't fear the truth about the 9/11-anthrax events, either. Only fear can keep preventing a real investigation of these crimes.

As President Franklin Delano Roosevelt so memorably put it: The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

“Al-Qaeda” cannot destroy the Constitution of the United States of America. Only fear can do that.

“Al-Qaeda” cannot even find an operative smart enough to know that plastic explosives cannot explode without a detonator. If you smuggle plastic explosives onto an airplane in your shoe, or tucked into your underwear, and try to light them on fire, the worst thing that could happen is that they might catch fire and burn your own foot, or your own crotch.

Plastic explosives without a detonator is sterno camping fuel – nothing more.

But “al-Qaeda” operatives like “shoe bomber” Richard Reid, and “underwear bomber” Abdulmutallab, are so stupid, so clumsy, so utterly incompetent that not only do they not understand the need for a detonator – they can't even manage to light a fire and properly burn themselves.

If you're a smoker, don't ever ask these guys for a light. You'll be waiting all day as they try, unsuccessfully, to light a match or a cigarette lighter.

“Al-Qaeda” is a joke.

And so is the whole “war on terror.”

If the United States of America is to remain a constitutional democratic republic, the American people need to stop being afraid.

They must stop being afraid of each other. And they must stop being afraid of the truth.

Biker's 1 vs Muslims 0
Muslim event was a dud.

I kept Fox on during the day and saw 1 short clip. Another quick mention on
maybe CBS on the 5 pm, not 6pm, news. I flipped thru channels at different times
looking for coverage. Nada.

They spoke of the ride for 9/11 remembrance. Made no connection to the Muslim march.

   I want to know the thoughts of God. Everything else is just details.
