Magnitude 6.8 earthquake strikes Japan

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- A 6.8-magnitude earthquake on Friday struck northern Japan not far from Fukushima, the center of the nuclear crisis after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. The Japan Meteorological Agency issued a tsunami warning, and the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant is checking for damages, according to reports.
