Today is now officially “Loyalty Day”, where all of the tax slaves of the United States can celebrate their obedience to government. In recent memory Mayday is associated with workers protests and things of that nature, but it is important to remember that people in various culture have been celebrating Mayday for most of recorded history. Far before the middle ages, pagan cultures in Europe would celebrate mayday, and even they drew their traditions from older astrotheological cultures.

This point on our calender now means many different things to many different people, and now you can add another one to the list.

The following “proclamation” was made through the official White House website:

BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

A PROCLAMATION

In the centuries since America broke from an empire and claimed independence, our people have come together again and again to meet the challenges of a changing world. We have reinvented our cities with advances in science and reformed our markets with new understanding of the forces that guide them. We have fought for freedom in the theater of war and expanded its reach during times of peace. We have revamped and recovered and remade ourselves anew, mindful that when times change, so must we. But with every step forward, we have reaffirmed our faith in the ideals that inspired our founding. We have held fast to the principles at our country’s core: service and citizenship; courage and the common good; liberty, equality, and justice for all.

This is our Nation’s heritage, and it is what we remember on Loyalty Day. It is an occasion that asks something of us as a people: to rediscover those ageless truths our Founders held to be self-evident, and to renew them in our own time. We look back to Americans who did the same, from generation to generation — citizens who strengthened our democracy, organizers who made it broader, service members who gave everything to protect it. These patriots and pioneers remind us that while our path to a more perfect Union is unending, with hope and hard work, we can move forward together.

Today, we rededicate ourselves to that enduring task. We do so knowing our journey is not complete until the promises of our founding documents are made real for every American, regardless of their station in life or the circumstances of their birth. Progress may come slow; the road may be long. But as loyal citizens of these United States, we have the power to set our country’s course. Let us mark this day by pressing on in the march toward lasting freedom and true equality, grateful for the precious rights and responsibilities entrusted to each of us by our forebears.

In order to recognize the American spirit of loyalty and the sacrifices that so many have made for our Nation, the Congress, by Public Law 85-529 as amended, has designated May 1 of each year as “Loyalty Day.” On this day, let us reaffirm our allegiance to the United States of America, our Constitution, and our founding values.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim May 1, 2013, as Loyalty Day. This Loyalty Day, I call upon all the people of the United States to join in support of this national observance, whether by displaying the flag of the United States or pledging allegiance to the Republic for which it stands.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this thirtieth day of April, in the year of our Lord two thousand thirteen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-seventh.

BARACK OBAMA

What are your thoughts on this recent “proclamation”? Is this just a simple propaganda campaign or is there something deeper at work? Does the occult significance of mayday have any relevance to the choosing of this specific date?

Either way, now there is another holiday where people in America can celebrate their obedience to authority.

Fact:

175 – Statement by the President Upon Signing Resolution Designating May as Loyalty Day. July 18, 1958

“I HAVE TODAY approved House Joint Resolution Number 479, designating May 1 as Loyalty Day, and calling for its appropriate observance by the people of this Nation. I am in accord with its purposes.

The naming of May 1st as Loyalty Day conflicts, however, with the observance of that day as Child Health Day pursuant to joint resolution passed by the Congress in 1928.

I therefore urge that the Congress enact legislation amending the act of May 28, 1928, 45 Stat. 616, by substituting the first Monday in October for May 1 as Child Health Day, thus avoiding the conflict that would otherwise result from simultaneous observances for different purposes.”

———————————————————————-
Note: As enacted, House Joint Resolution 479 is Public Law 85-529 (72 Stat. 369).

What a socialist ass. Look at what mayday was to the Russian Communists, then compare it to what the Celts thought it was centuries before. BIG difference. This country wasn’t built by service workers or organizers. This country was built by people who came here for freedom, people who had a dream to be bigger than what their rulers wanted them to be. People who suffered oppression and slaughter and hatred and still went back to work to make the dream come true. They knew the American Constitution was the best doctrine ever created and were willing to die to give their descendents a chance to live in a free country. They knew the American Constitution wasn’t fundamentally flawed but that the people in charge were. This country is in danger now more than ever before. We have had flawed “leadership” for several decades and if we don’t soon revert to the teachings of our founding fathers and to the doctrines of our Constitution, which is not a living document, and changeable according to current opinion, THIS COUNTRY AND ALL WE FOUGHT AND DIED FOR WILL BE LOST. I personally have had family fight, and in some cases die, for this country,(first recorded death at the battle of Long Island) since the revolution. Loyalty Day my ass! MOLON LABE!!!
