US authorities say they have found multiple people in the water after the complete collapse of a bridge in Baltimore. They were able to remove two people from the water with one in serious condition. Multiple local and state agencies are continuing to support an active search and rescue operation in the area.

History repeats itself: During WWII a tanker accidentally rammed the Chesapeake city drawbridge that carried Maryland route 213. "Sure enough there was a bridge sitting on top of a tanker. Struck the bridge and down it came." The Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed today after a container ship accidentally struck the bridge.

They were first arrested and were in custody, but three were let go on bail, and are roaming free.
