Can strange aquatic signs portend the soon occurrence of a major, (and devastating), earthquake? According to the fisherman of Japan, the answer is a deficient yes.  So if that is the case, the recent mass deaths of millions of Starfish off the British Columbia coast and the recent washing to shore of Oarfish in California may be harbingers of such a quake to come.  Given that the Cascadia fault line off the west coast of North America is long due for a major shaking, it should not come as a surprise to anyone when the big one strikes.

Could the appearance of rare “sea serpents” washing ashore beaches in Southern California portend disaster? The question comes following the discovery of the carcass of a rare 18-foot-long oarfish off the coast of Catalina Island on Oct. 13, followed by another snakelike 14-foot-long oarfish found on Oct. 18 in Oceanside.Fishermen in Japan reported a sharp uptick in oarfish sightings in March 2010 following the massive magnitude-8.8 earthquake inChile that same month, which marked almost exactly one year before the country was devastated by its own magnitude-8.9 quake in northeast Japan.


According to traditional Japanese lore, oarfish rise to the water’s surface and beach themselves to warn of an impending earthquake, a notion that some scientists have speculated could be supported by the bottom-dwelling fish being more sensitive to seismic shifts.

It's amazing," said Donna Gibbs, a research diver and taxonomist on the aquarium's Howe Sound Research and Conservation group. "Whatever hit them, it was like wildfire and just wiped them out."

Is the rare sighting and video capture of two giant oarfish on the shores of Baja yet another warning of a massive, pending earthquake?
 
In 2011 it was reported that an article in The Telegraph from 2010 predicted a powerful earthquake after a dozens of giant oarfish were found on Japan beaches. 
 
In March 2011, a 9.0 earthquake hit Japan, which many already know was followed by a tsunami that devastated parts of Japan as well as crippled Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant which subsequently suffered multiple meltdowns to which the effects are still being seen and felt today, globally.
 
It is noteworthy that oarfish are not known to swim the shores, in fact, according to Daily Onigiri, “the monstrous oarfish — traditionally seen as the harbinger of a powerful earthquake — usually live in the depths of 1 kilometer (more than 3000 ft) and are very rarely found above 200 meters from the surface.”
 
It is happening again, oarfish are surfacing and reportedly appear to be attempting to beach themselves along the shoreline of Isla San Francisco, located north of La Paz, caught on video footage which will be shown below.
 
According to traditional Japanese lore, these fish swim to the surface and beach themselves to warn of a coming earthquake. There are also scientific theories that animals are more sensitive to movements beneath the surface than humans. Some scientists believe that deep sea fish may be susceptible to movements in seismic faults and act in unusual ways before an earthquake occurs. However, most seismologists don’t see any scientific relationship between these sightings of oarfish and an earthquake.
 
Are these oarfish warning of a pending West Coast Mega-Earthquake? 

The Starfish and other crustacians it is radioactive water as evidenced by the girl in Canada taking readings of market fish.

As for Whales, Porpoises, these are deffinitely affected by the faults that run up the coast as these change in magnetivity, so large cme's etc affecting the magnetic flux lines of the Earth and also the frequency could cause these and the Oarfish to act differently... the magnopause as I have shown in the past fluctuates with cme's and solar flares and watching the bz - and + will show that EQ's line up directly on dates corresponding with the charts showing bz measurements.
