Scientists in the US using data from the CERN experiments are conducting research that could literally rewrite the physics text books.

“The Standard Model says the world interacts with all leptons in the same way.
There is a democracy there. But there is no guarantee that this will hold true if we discover new particles or new forces,” said Maryland professor Hassan Jawahery, ahead of the publication of his study in Physical Review Letters.
“Lepton universality is truly enshrined in the Standard Model. If this universality is broken, we can say that we’ve found evidence for non-standard physics.”
So, suprise suprise, we dont actually know everything there is to know, and in fact what we thought we knew could be wrong, so wrong.
What I suspect may come on the back of this is a push for a bigger and better collider that is able to smash things into even smaller pieces as scientists strive to achieve the impossible. I say its impossible for them, for they are not taking into account one force that I can think of, and im no rocket scientist, or should i say, particle physicist.

So we can see they are already hinting at “missing particles”, and that means they will want to hunt them out in the same way they did the god particle! Plans are already afoot for the new super-collider…

Electron–positron colliders and hadron colliders such as the LHC complement each other. Hadron colliders are sledgehammers, smashing together protons (a kind of hadron that comprises three fundamental particles called quarks) at high energies to see what emerges. Lower-energy electron–positron machines produce cleaner collisions that are easier to analyse, because they are already smashing together fundamental particles.
By examining in detail the interactions of the Higgs boson with other particles, the proposed Chinese collider should, for example, be able to detect whether the Higgs is a simple particle or something more exotic. This would help physicists to work out whether the particle fits with predictions made by the standard model of particle physics, or whether, for example, multiple types of Higgs boson exist.
What force am I talking about? Well theres many different names for what im talking about, but lets use some of the more commonly referred to shall we. The force is speak of is the spiritual force, the consciousness of the universe, God, or whatever term fits your personal belief system.
There is so much more going on that we can even begin to not only appreciate, but comprehend!
Expect more big news from CERN in the next few weeks as they up the stakes and swap out proton for the heavier ions of lead, which they will collide together at 99.999999% the speed of light in the hope that they can unlock the secrets of the universe.
At the very least they are determined to rip the veil that seperates this dimension from the next, not my words, theirs!
Lets hope the arrogance of mankind isnt going to be our downfall.

Scientists whose capture of the 'God particle' hit the headlines three years ago have obtained a new and much sharper picture of their trophy.
Data from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the world's biggest atom smasher, have greatly increased what physicists know about the Higgs boson, which is responsible for giving other elementary particles mass.
The results show with a new level of precision the way the particle is generated and decays, and how it interacts with other particles.

WHAT IS THE LHC?
CERN's Large Hadron Collider, located in a 27-kilometer (16.8-mile) tunnel beneath the Swiss-French border, was instrumental in the discovery of the Higgs boson. The subatomic particle had long been theorized but wasn't confirmed until 2013. The collider was recently given a $150 million upgrade that allows atoms to be smashed together with even greater force, allowing it to recreate conditions similar to those during the earliest moments of the universe. All the measured properties match the predictions of the Standard Model, the theory encompassing all of nature's subatomic particles, forces and interactions that has stood the test of time since the 1970s.
The missing Higgs boson was a yawning gap in the Standard Model until the discovery of a particle with its properties was dramatically announced by LHC scientists in 2012.
Cern, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, which operates the LHC - a massive particle accelerator straddling the French and Swiss border - later confirmed that the particle was a Higgs boson.
Without the Higgs boson the universe would be cold, dark and lifeless.
Because of its fundamental importance, the Higgs was nicknamed the 'God particle'.
Its discovery won a share of the Nobel prize for physics for Professor Peter Higgs, the University of Edinburgh scientist who predicted the existence of the particle in the 1960s and lent it his name.
Data from two of the LHC's giant particle collision detectors, CMS and Atlas, were combined to provide the new Higgs boson profile.
Cern director general Professor Rolf Heuer said: 'The Higgs boson is a fantastic new tool to test the Standard Model of particle physics and study the Brout-Englert-Higgs mechanism that gives mass to elementary particles.
'There is much benefit in combining the results of large experiments to reach the high precision needed for the next breakthrough in our field.
'By doing so, we achieve what for a single experiment, would have meant running for at least two more years.'
LARGE HADRON COLLIDER: THE GREAT SWITCH ON
The LHC was restarted on April 5 this year, having been turned off for two years during a major renovation project that cost £100 million.
The world's largest atom-smashing machine is most famous for proving the existence of the Higgs boson.
Physicists at Cern, the Geneva-based organisation which runs the LHC, are aiming to see dark matter for the first time ever thanks to the device's upgrade.
Instead, they have discovered the pentaquark, for now.
The LHC is situated underground below the border between Switzerland and France, and consists of nearly 17 miles of circular tunnels.
It was shut down so that its energy levels could be almost doubled, allowing scientists to carry out more extreme experiments.

The LHC, which cost nearly £4 billion, ran at a low 'injection' energy of 450 giga-electron volts (GeV) when it restarted, but its power has now been increased to a record-breaking 13 tera-electron volts (TeV) - up from 7 TeV at the time it managed to detect the Higgs boson in 2013.
British scientist Peter Higgs was awarded the Nobel Prize after the discovery of the particle, which he and others predicted would exist but which had never been seen until the construction of the LHC.
Physicists have set their sights on finding dark matter, the undetectable material that makes up 84 per cent of matter in the universe and binds galaxies together yet whose nature is unknown.
If they are able to detect and describe dark matter, it will mark a huge leap forward in our understanding of the universe.
Cern spokesman Arnaud Marsollier said: 'The LHC will be running day and night. When we will get results we don't know. What is important is that we will have collisions at energies we've never had before.
'...It took 50 years to find the Higgs boson and 20 years to build this machine, and it will be running at least until 2035, so we can be patient.'
Now scientists will be able to use the Higgs boson as a reference for further study, opening up the possibility of discovering new physics phenomena.

In September, Europe’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC) will smash together sub-atomic particles at nearly the speed of light, an unprecedented experiment that has some of the leading voices in the world of science - and religion - sounding the alarm on the risks involved.
CERN is perhaps most famous for its discovery in 2012 of the elusive Higgs Boson [named after British physicist Peter Higgs who predicted its existence in 1964], the so-called ‘God particle,’ which allows other particles to build up mass as they pass through the Higgs field.
Today, however, CERN is more famous – or perhaps infamous is the better word - for an upcoming experiment in which scientists will play God in an effort to recreate the conditions immediately following the ‘Big Bang’ event that gave birth to the Universe millions of years ago.
For those who are in the dark about CERN and the controversial objectives it hopes to achieve, here is a quick primer.
CERN is the world’s biggest machine
Straddling the French-Swiss border, the $9 billion CERN collider complex is buried at a depth of up to 575 feet (175 meters). The tunnel complex runs along a 17-mile (27-kilometer) circuit. Scientists involved in the project say the laboratory was built underground because the Earth’s crust provides protection against radiation. They also say it was buried out of respect for the natural landscape, which sounds slightly ironic considering the massive damage the collider could possibly cause down the road.

The CERN collider is composed of some 9,600 super magnets – which are 100,000 times more powerful than the gravitational pull of Earth - that fire protons around a circular track at mindboggling speeds. A beam might rotate for up to 10 hours, travelling a distance of more than 10 billion kilometers, enough to make it to the far reaches of our Solar System and back again. Travelling just below light-speed, a proton in the LHC will make 11,245 circuits every second.

After watching BPEarthWatch's video on a possible capture of CERN opening another dimension in one of their dumps, it got me thinking about the possibility that while the elite behind CERN are trying to open a portal to allow in their gods, is it possible that the one's waiting on the other side of the veil, would actually be God's army? One of the mysteries that has the buzz on the internet is when you type in tomorrow’s date of 9-23-2015 or September 23rd, 2015 into Goggle Maps, the computer will direct you to a place near Geneva, Switzerland. After further magnification you realize that you have landed at the headquarters of LHC at CERN.
It is also interesting to note that when you type in the name Anthony Patch you also land at CERN in Switzerland.
Anthony Patch first appeared on Ground Zero to warn us that by the Fall of 2015, namely the beginning of the autumnal equinox which conveniently falls on September 23rd, 2015, CERN will begin colliding groups of 70 million lead hadrons at 287 tev, unpacking millions of quarks in each collision.
According to CERN Truth, an organization that reports what is happening and the Large Hadron Collider those quarks will be first accelerated at light speed, acquiring relativistic mass, becoming heavier strange quarks, the substance of a strange quark-gluon soup called a ‘strangelet‘. The strange liquid has the potential to become stable and start an ‘ice-9′ big-bang reaction. If that happens that effectively transforms the Earth into a pulsar.
In late 2008, when CERN was first firing up the engines on its atom-smashing machine, Otto Rossler, a German professor at the University of Tubingen, filed a lawsuit against CERN with the European Court of Human Rights, on the grounds that the facility could trigger a mini black hole that could get out of control and annihilate the planet. The Court tossed out Rossler’s request, but he nevertheless succeeded in generating heated discussion on the possible dark side of the experiment.
While CERN adamantly denies to the public and the press that production of Strangelets is possible, it runs a program called CASTOR for Centaruro And Strangelets Object Research, whose researchers affirm in their inner reports to the company the ‘likely’ probability of creating them. This is in accordance to the most advanced literature on the subject, but of course, it must be hidden to the public and the naive press.
This simple fact – CERN is just a quark cannon that deconfines and gives heavier mass to quarks, transforming them into the next ‘horizon’ of heavy mass, strange quarks, which eat up planets might seem amazing to the reader, submitted to the ‘rhetoric’ of research and the blatant lies of this institution, a left-over the cold war, ‘refurbished’ with a newspeak of research. But this is the bottom line, simple truth about CERN. CERN says its experiments are similar to cosmic rays, and this is false.

No less amazing are the magnet’s coils, which are made up of 36 twisted 15mm strands, each strand comprised in turn of 6000-9000 single filaments, each filament possessing a diameter as small as 7 micrometers. The 27km length of the LHC demands some 7,600 km (4,100 miles) of cable, which amounts to about 270,000 km (145,000 miles) of strand — more than enough to circle the Earth six times at the equator. According to the CERN website, if the filaments were unraveled, they would “stretch to the Sun and back five times with enough left over for a few trips to the Moon.”
The pull upon the earth is obviously extraordinary; some say that one false move could slit the earth in two. The pressure and heat combined is extraordinary. There has to be a temperature created in the collider that is more than 100,000-times the temperature at the center of the Sun. This will be achieved, CERN says, by accelerating and colliding together two beams of heavy ions. So far, ion collisions have been successful, however now the power is going to be turned up… like the expression in the movie Spinal Tap—they are going to take this baby to 11—and beyond that.
Intensity ramp ups at CERN began on the 10th of September with full power beaming on with what are called special physics runs on the 23rd and 24th .
Although the internet believes that the 23rd of September is the date to watch for trouble or even some sort of extinction level event at CERN, the real fireworks will be in November and December when the protons are swapped for heavier mass ions of lead. Some watchdogs are speculating that this maybe the time where scientist will achieve their goal of maintaining enough power to stabilize any connection to another dimension.
This is not science fiction – it is fact.
According to Einstein’s general theory of relativity, any large amounts of matter or energy will distort the space and time that surrounds it.
If the energy or mass is large enough, it is claimed that time can be distorted so much that it folds back on itself – creating a wormhole, or time tunnel, between the present and the future.
Einstein called it a Rosen Bridge.
If the power stabilizes and the Rosen Bridge can be achieved, then who knows what or who can come through the wormhole.
In the summer of 1996 Donald Tyson wrote an article for Gnosis magazine entitled ‘The Enochian Apocalypse in it he wrote about how magicians throughout time have tried to open up a wormhole and speak with fourth dimensional beings no matter if they are benevolent or malevolent.
Tyson wrote:
“Between the years 1582 and 1589 the English scholar John Dee (1527-1608) conducted a series of ritual communications with a set of disincarnate entities who eventually came to be known as the Enochian angels.”
What the Enochian angels conveyed to Dee was not merely a potent form of magic to rule the tutelary spirits of the nations. It was an initiatory formula designed to open the locked gates of the four great watchtowers known as the Axis Mundi that stand guard against chaos at the extremities of our universe. The Watchtowers were described by the angel that Dee identified as, Ave.
“The 4 houses are the 4 Angels of the Earth, which are the 4 Overseers, and Watchtowers, that the eternal God in his providence hath placed, against the usurping blasphemy, misuse, and stealth of the wicked and great enemy, the Devil. To the intent that being put out to the Earth, his envious will might be bridled, the determinations of God fulfilled, and his creatures kept and preserved, within the compass and measure of order.”
These Watchtowers, represented in Enochian magic by alphabetical squares, are equivalent to the four mystical pillars of Egyptian mythology that hold up the sky and keep it from crashing into the earth.
The Jed and the Axis Mundi are the guardian centers that hold the galaxy together.
These pillars are crucial to opening a gate to the hosts of the fourth dimension.
It was Dee’s plan to use the complex system of magic communicated by the angels to advance the expansionist policies of his sovereign, Queen Elizabeth I.
With the aid of fellow occult researcher Edward Kelley, he planned to open a portal to the other side by using the lower keys of Enoch, a magical alphabet that was sung. There were certain symbols and shapes the represented different tones and phonetics that had to be sung a certain way in order to communicate with these beings. A combination of phonetic tones and shapes were used to open what was called a “gate” to the stars.
That is the Stargate or the Rosen Bridge wormhole – an opening where these beings could travel through into our existence..
These dimensional portals in theory would be able to allow for the transportation of beings from other dimensions into ours. When NASA’s Gravity Probe B returned from its seven year orbit, it proved that there is a space-time vortex that exists around the Earth, just like Einstein theorized.,
The Einstein-Rosen Bridge is a geometrical property of a black hole that manifests itself in that on the other side of the black hole another set of dimensions has been attached to the one from our universe. This makes passage through this bridge and hence into another universe a mathematical possibility.
CERN’s website confirms this where it is written that:
“In our everyday lives, we experience three spatial dimensions, and a fourth dimension of time. How could there be more? Einstein’s general theory of relativity tells us that space can expand, contract, and bend. Now if one dimension were to contract to a size smaller than an atom, it would be hidden from our view. But if we could look on a small enough scale, that hidden dimension might become visible again. Imagine a person walking on a tightrope. She can only move backward and forward; but not left and right, nor up and down, so she only sees one dimension. Ants living on a much smaller scale could move around the cable, in what would appear like an extra dimension to the tight-rope walker.”
How could we test for extra dimensions? One option would be to find evidence of particles that can exist only if extra dimensions are real. Theories that suggest extra dimensions predict that, in the same way as atoms have a low-energy ground state and excited high-energy states, there would be heavier versions of standard particles in other dimensions.”
CERN wants us to believe that they will be able to welcome entities or even living creatures from other dimensional planes. What is also possible is that these beings could be nothing more than intelligences of light and frequency looking for a physical host for incarnation.

CERN prepares to test revolutionary mini-accelerator
Machines that ‘surf’ particles on electric fields could reach high energies at a lower price.

The home of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the world’s largest particle accelerator, is getting a new machine — and this time, the whole point is to keep it small.
On 18 September, the council that governs CERN, Europe’s premier particle-physics laboratory, near Geneva, Switzerland, approved a boost in funding for a planned experiment called the Advanced Wakefield Experiment, or AWAKE. Due to switch on next year, AWAKE will accelerate particles by ‘surfing’ them on waves of electric charge created in a plasma, or ionized gas. It is a method that could allow future accelerators to probe matter and the forces of nature at ever-higher energies, without the usual accompanying increase in the instruments’ size and therefore cost.
Although plans are afoot to build bigger machines once the LHC reaches the end of its life in the 2030s, many fear that accelerator size is nearing its limit and that such proposals may simply prove too expensive to implement.
Conventional colliders, such as the 27-kilometre-long LHC, use electric fields to move charged particles through a tunnel; the fields switch from positive to negative at a frequency that means the particles are constantly nudged forward, gaining energy with each push. But such colliders use metal-walled cavities that spark if the electric field is too strong. As a result, the only way to further increase the particles’ speed, and therefore energy, is to lengthen the tunnel.“When you look at cost estimates for these machines and the scale of machines, you understand that maybe a new breakthrough regime is needed,” says Nick Walker, an accelerator physicist at DESY, Germany’s high-energy-physics laboratory in Hamburg.
Plasma wakefield accelerators, which were first proposed in the 1970s, are designed to break this cycle, says physicist Allen Caldwell at the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Munich, Germany, who will lead the AWAKE experiment. They send a pulse of charged particles or laser light through a plasma, which sets electrons and positively charged ions oscillating in its wake. The resulting regions of alternating negative and positive charge form waves that accelerate further charged particles. Injected at just the right time, these particles effectively surf the waves (see ‘Wakefield acceleration’). Crucially, as the electric fields are much stronger than those in a conventional collider, the acceleration can be as much as 1,000 times greater over the same distance.
Such accelerators exist in prototype at several facilities around the world, but AWAKE will be the first time that CERN has experimented with the technology. “CERN is the world’s high-energy physics lab right now, and the fact that it has decided this is an important field to get involved in is a bit of validation for this community,” says Mark Hogan, an accelerator physicist at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory in Menlo Park, California.
Different groups have different ways of setting the plasma oscillating: Hogan’s team at SLAC uses pulses of electrons, for example. AWAKE will be the first to use pulses of protons, which have some big advantages.
Because protons have greater mass than electrons, each proton pulse penetrates further into the plasma, setting up a longer series of charged regions, which in turn provides greater acceleration per pulse. A proton machine is also compatible with the LHC, which accelerates and collides protons.

For now, AWAKE will use the proton bunches that feed the LHC to test whether protons can generate the electric fields necessary to accelerate particles in plasma.
The latest investment from CERN — worth 2.6 million Swiss francs (US$2.7 million), from the total of 21.4 million Swiss francs so far committed to the experiment — is intended to allow AWAKE to test the concept before the end of 2018, when CERN is scheduled to shut down its accelerators for an upgrade. Success will depend on whether these proton bunches, which are long relative to what is needed to create plasma waves, can be efficiently chopped up into short pulses.
Eventually, it might be possible to inject the much-higher-energy protons that have been accelerated by the LHC into a plasma wakefield machine for further acceleration. Hogan estimates that a machine just a few kilometres long could produce electrons with 6 times the energy of those that would be produced by the next planned conventional accelerator, the 31-kilometre-long Inter-national Linear Collider.
Despite such promise, plasma accelerators are decades from practical use because, to do better than existing accelerators, they must also match them in efficiency — supplying focused, accelerated particles at high rates as well as high energies, says Walker. Still, he adds, “right now, this is the only thing I see that might work”.
The technology might also be useful elsewhere. Wakefield-accelerated electrons could drive X-ray free-electron lasers, which probe matter using powerful bursts of light that are short enough to capture the motions of molecules. These are currently kilometres long — but using wakefield technology might allow them to fit into labs or hospital basements. “I think this is more realistic as a potential application,” says Walker, “and I would say a mandatory first step before the plunge into trying to achieve high-energy-physics experiments.”

We have been running across some very interesting CERN related material of late, a couple examples of which will be detailed and shown below.
Whether viewed from a scientific prism or a religious perspective, warnings have come from all directions over the restarting of the CERN Large Hadron Collider, with scientists warning of "other dimensions and parallel universes," and those of faith pointing to the goddess of Destruction, Shiva" outside of the CERN facility in Switzerland, and referencing stargates, portals and attempting to "unleash the beast."
We have reported on demonic visions that increased in frequency and intensity since CERN was restarted, we have seen massive earthquakes and extreme weather events, and now we see what is being called a "strange phenomenon" in the sky of Geneva Switzerland, near where CERN is located which actually looks like a "portal."

Starting with the shortest of the two videos we felt readers would find highly interesting, at just 1 minutes 24 seconds, we found this on a thread over at ATS with a headline of "Can Anyone Debunk This? Strange Anomaly over Geneva Switzerland Aug 2015- Shiva Face Cern Sept 2015," where the thread creator states "I wish it debunked, (but mostly because it confirms my worst nightmare).
Nothing we have found either debunks, nor confirms what is seen in the video, but a simple search for CERN & Clouds, does bring up the fact that CERN is indeed looking into a "link between galactic cosmic rays and cloud formation."

Now while that is indeed interesting and worthy of a discussion to either confirm or debunk the video, it is the second one below that tipped the scales in favor of writing this article.
The video is much longer and titled "CERN Sept. 2015 '' We shall all be con.C.E.R.N.ed '' A must see !!! " This is an excellent narration, and analysis of whether CERN is actually the "key" to the bottomless pit that will allow the "beast to arise from the abyss." The key events the narrator discusses on the news surrounding CERN is definitely a must-see, as is the weird connections between the "strange operatic sci-fi dance" conducted at CERN and the names connected to that performance. The two names he refences is "Claron" and "Lukas," and as seen below, the names together mean "bright light."
Other points in Marcel Jongsma's video below include, but are not limited to; The strange dance from IPetGoatII which is eeirly similar to the one performed at the CERN facility and the deliberate Illuminati symbolism; Other clips detailing the "messages of the Unseen with occult and satanic references and yet another connection with CERN and deception from the Fallen Angels; CERN's discovery of a "Satanic Seal"; Satanic symbols seen all over the world; and much, much more.
This is perhaps the best compilation of CERN related material ever put together and well worth the time it takes to watch, listen, takes notes and research the information revealed for yourself.
Perhaps science and religion have more in common than people realize.

Getty Collision course: Large Hadron Collider could discover parallel universe The staggeringly complex LHC ‘atom smasher’ at the CERN centre in Geneva, Switzerland, will be fired up to its highest energy levels ever in a bid to detect - or even create - miniature black holes.
If successful a completely new universe will be revealed – rewriting not only the physics books but the philosophy books too.
It is even possible that gravity from our own universe may ‘leak’ into this parallel universe, scientists at the LHC say.
The experiment is sure to inflame alarmist critics of the LHC, many of whom initially warned the high energy particle collider would spell the end of our universe with the creation a black hole of its own.
But so far Geneva remains intact and comfortably outside the event horizon.
Indeed the LHC has been spectacularly successful. First scientists proved the existence of the elusive Higgs boson ‘God particle’ - a key building block of the universe - and it is seemingly well on the way to nailing ‘dark matter’ - a previously undetectable theoretical possibility that is now thought to make up the majority of matter in the universe.
But next week’s experiment is considered to be a game changer.
Mir Faizal, one of the three-strong team of physicists behind the experiment, said: “Just as many parallel sheets of paper, which are two dimensional objects [breadth and length] can exist in a third dimension [height], parallel universes can also exist in higher dimensions.
“We predict that gravity can leak into extra dimensions, and if it does, then miniature black holes can be produced at the LHC.
"Normally, when people think of the multiverse, they think of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, where every possibility is actualised.
"This cannot be tested and so it is philosophy and not science.
“This is not what we mean by parallel universes. What we mean is real universes in extra dimensions.

“We have calculated the energy at which we expect to detect these mini black holes in ‘gravity's rainbow’ [a new scientific theory].
“If we do detect mini black holes at this energy, then we will know that both gravity's rainbow and extra dimensions are correct."
When the LHC is fired up the energy is measured in Tera electron volts – a TeV is 1,000,000,000,000, or one trillion, electron Volts
So far, the LHC has searched for mini black holes at energy levels below 5.3 TeV.
But the latest study says this is too low.
Instead, the model predicts that black holes may form at energy levels of at least 9.5 TeV in six dimensions and 11.9 TeV in 10 dimensions.

There are some unprecedented scientific experiments taking place at the European Organization for Nuclear Research, more commonly known as the CERN hadron collider. Is it possible that should these portals or worm holes be opened, that we could actually unleash unto earth powers beyond our control? It does appear that many involved in the project know they are operating within a very dangerous realm. Curiously, these scientists who often reject the notion of God’s existence have placed a symbolic statue of the ancient Lord Shiva doing a dance of destruction at the entrance of the CERN facility.

All of the publicity has been surrounding their having achieved 13 TeV No mention of 1.15 PeV has ever been made Protons have been colliding this year.

Many Physicists have expressed their concern that this search for other dimensions could have disastrous consequences for us all. Concern for the production of Vacuum Bubbles enveloping not only our Earth, but perhaps even the universe.
Also, the production of Strangelets, the most powerful explosive substance in the known universe.
The fact that the LHC will produce such a massive increase in power of 1.15 PeV, rather than the purported maximum of 14+ TeV, should raise concern aswell.
1,145 Trillion vs 14 Trillion is a big jump!
PROTONS HAVE A COLLISION ENERGY = 14TeV
LEAD ION COLLISION ENERGY = 1.15PeV
The beam dynamics and the performance limits with Lead ions are quite different from those of Protons. This is due to the copious nuclear electomagnetic interaction in peripheral collisions of Lead Ions.
The physics of Lead ion beams is qualitatively and quantitatively different from that of Protons.
The Interaction Point #2 for the collisions of Lead ions is within the ALICE detector. The CMS and ATLAS detectors will play a later role in the experiments.
Lead ions will collide head-on, whereas Protons did so at an angle. This contributes to the marked increase in the Centre-of-mass-Energy level.
To put it simply, that is why we see the jump from TeV to PeV.
This increase in power, having been withheld from the public at large, calls into question…. what will be the result? Why hide it?
Repeatedly, the spokespeople for CERN admittedly have no real idea what to expect once the LHC achieves maximum power levels.
Again, just to emphasise the point here….
WE ARE TALING ABOUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN…

China announces their own plan to create a collider that created millions of Higgs Bosons, with 7 times the TeV. Meanwhile, officials at the LHC were quick to announce themselves that they are planning an upgrade that would 10x the power levels. Just when we think we have CERN all figured out, something else comes along! Today they are announcing plans to upgrade the LHC to High-Luminosity by 2025, which will see the amount of Higgs Bosons produced go up tenfold. In addition to this, the upgrade will act as a proof-of-concept for a supercollider that will make CERN look like an unfortunate dwarf relative. If thats not enough, now they are even having WITCH hunts at the LHC! I wonder if its more Schrodingers cat than the usual sinister black feline commonly associated with the witches lol

This week more than 230 scientists and engineers from around the world met at CERN to discuss the High-Luminosity LHC – a major upgrade to the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) that will increase its discovery potential from 2025.
After a four-year design study the project is now moving into its second phase, which will see the development of industrial prototypes for various parts of the accelerator.
Luminosity is a crucial indicator of accelerator performance. It is proportional to the number of particles colliding within a defined amount of time. Since discoveries in particle physics rely on statistics, the greater the number of collisions, the more chances physicists have to see a particle or process that they have not seen before.
The High-Luminosity LHC will increase the luminosity by a factor of 10, delivering 10 times more collisions than the LHC would do over the same period of time. It will therefore provide more accurate measurements of fundamental particles and enable physicists to observe rare processes that occur below the current sensitivity level of the LHC.
The increase in luminosity will mean that physicists can study new phenomena discovered by the LHC, such as the Higgs boson, in more detail. The High-Luminosity LHC will produce 15 million Higgs bosons per year compared to the 1.2 million in total created at the LHC between 2011 and 2012.

It looks like the particle accelerators are going to be a massive part of our future folks, so this is going to be something we are going to have to get our heads around, and fast! You need only look at the high frequency of TV shows that even have these machines central to their plots to know that we are being programmed to accept them for a reason, the truth to which we still yet do not fully know.

I’m a Physicist at CERN. We’ve done something we shouldn’t have – Part 1, PART 2, & PART 3
Please be advised of the following: 1) I am breaking international laws regarding privacy and secrecy by publishing this information. 2) I am not going to disclose my location since I know that any attempt to prove what I’ve seen or what I’ve been part of will result in my immediate and thorough extermination. My name is Dr. Edward Mantill and I was (technically still am) a physicist at CERN, located in Geneva, Switzerland. I specialize in particle and subatomic research, focusing on quark interactions. In other words, I study very very small particles and how they interact with one another at very high speeds. Until Thursday, Jan. 15, 2014 I was a normal scientist living and working on the CERN campus. Most of the scientists who are involved in the branch of research that I am live on campus at the facility in Geneva and venture out only for social activities and the occasional visit home.
Most of you who have heard of CERN will have heard of the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) the largest scientific instrument which exceeds 20 miles in diameter and travels under the sovereign territory of two countries (Switzerland, France). The public has been told that it was constructed at a cost of tens of billions of Euros for the purpose of studying the birth of the universe and the collisions that take place within the collider allow us a quick glimpse at certain phenomenon that can only be witnessed when particles hit one another at incredibly high rates. This is NOT what the machine was designed for, nor is it what the machine has been used for since it’s inception. CERN’s main purpose for building the Collider was too, well it was to open a door way. Allow me to explain: the doorway idea came into fruition in the 1960s.
After years and years of attempting to hide UFO phenomenon, including large scale and very public interactions such as the Roswell incident, and the Battle for Los Angeles incident well before that, the governments of the United States, Great Britain, and France decided to throw their weight behind the understanding of what precisely these objects were. The ideas flew far and wide. Were UFOs from another planet? Were they from another time? Or where they simply mass hysteria and mass delusion fueled by the overactive imagination of a public who were shit scared of communists and their technology? No, they were none of those. Our universe is but one page in a large book. Think of a closed book sitting on a table: you see each page stacked on top of one another, bound by the spine and sandwiched between the two covers. Our universe is but one page in a vast and all-encompassing book. And our page is certainly not the only one with rich, in depth thought and writing committed to it. Every page in the book represents a different dimension each with it’s own unique writing, own unique story, own unique way of isolating itself from the other pages. No page was to interact with the other, just as no ink bleeds from one page to another in a standard book. Each page, a universe unto itself.
Within a few short years of mathematical research and fleets of scientists working under threat of extermination should they share their research, the book idea was finally cemented. Though many disagreed, the mathematics were there to support the book idea, and the mathematics also showed us that it was impossible for one page to interact with another. That was, until the 1980s. During the 1980s billions of dollars of research was funnelled into the idea that if we used enough energy, if we used enough force, concentrated into a small area (the size of a pin prick) we could theoretically tare our page and get a glimpse of the page next to ours. We could open a door from their universe to ours. When the Family (the code name for the group of scientists that functioned as the head of each of their departments at CERN) were shown the initial presentation in March of 1981, many of them expressed grave concern about the ramifications of opening such a doorway. But in the beautiful name of science, the Family decided to share these ideas with the governments who constantly funded their research. At a meeting held in Luxembourg, the heads of state of the newly forming European Union, along with the United States and China were shown plans for the construction of a colossal machine that would enable the opening of a doorway that could be closed at our discretion. The door would be opened, and the energy levels would be measure to prove that CERN had accomplished its task, and the door would be closed. Open. Shut. Simple as that.
The government leaders threw endless funding at the Family and the rest of CERN in the hopes of understanding what kind of power lay in another universe. Think of the possible endless source of Energy, faster than light travel, weaponry that could obliterate enemies using laser. The possibilities for power were truly staggering. So, the public was fed one narrative (“understanding the universe”) and the Family and governments knew the truth. Most of the scientists at CERN were kept completely in the dark, after all the collider would perform it’s function as normal and collide particles for eager funding hunters to capitalize on. But the far more nefarious purpose would only be tested in the presence of the Family and a few select scientists. I am the member of the Family for my division. Obviously the original Family have all retired or died out, but there is a new, younger, more eager to prove themselves group now at the helm, and the consequences of this were and are dire. So, with that established, allow me to explain what happened last thursday. It was an ordinary day with the LHC scheduled to commit two collisions, one at 9am and the other at 630PM. Both went off magnificently and the experiments were deemed a success. We witnessed two full collisions and the general group of researchers were very happy with their work.
Around 7pm, most of the team had filtered out of the observation room, and the machine had been put into it’s usual stand-by mode. As the room emptied, the ID clip that I had on my waist, which had a built in display and vibrator, started to go off. I looked down at the display and it said in very faint green writing “Living room,” I knew right away what they were going to attempt. I looked up from the badge and caught the eye of Dr. Celine D’Accord, another member of the Family and the head of plasma physics. She too had just looked up from her ID badge. We both understood and left. “Living room,” was a large room under the main facility located in A-section. The room wasn’t special in any way and appeared completely normal. This was key to hiding our true intentions. If we met in a secret underground bunker instead of the regular basement, we’d arouse suspicion every time we were going to run an experiment. As Celine and I made our way from the collider to section A, the cold Swiss air hit my face and burned as we booked it across the campus. The night was exceptionally clear, and this factor further bolstered my suspicion. They always liked doing these experiments on clear nights. We entered Section A and made our way to the main building. The doors opened up as we approached and we made our way to the elevators across the wide expanse of a lobby with the vaulted ceilings.
The RFID signal given off by our name badges caused the elevator doors to open before we had even pressed the button. As we stepped in, the doors shut and the elevator began to move. “I’ll never get used to that,” Celine said, referring to the degree of automation that the buildings displayed. We had been scheduled for a meeting in the Living Room, and the building knew, so all strategic lights were on, and elevators were reading where we needed to go. The miracle of networking. We exited the lift and made our way to the regular board room, the door was shut and assembled inside was the Family. At the head of the table was Father, a young, rather ambitious physicist named Sandra O’Reilly, designated, “Father,” since she was in charge of giving orders to the Family with respect to our clandestine experiments. The mood in the living Room was never tense, but rather one of controlled excitement. The Family had been attempting these tests once every 6 months for the past 10 years without much success. We had gone through several, “Fathers,” from the great Dr. Bertramberg to the lesser known and constantly drunk Dr. Yao, Each had failed to achieve what the original Family had planned. Billions were spent, but no door had yet been opened. “Tonight, we try 40 Tera Electron Volts,” Father announced.
Her announcement brought an immediate and total silence to the room. Family members looked from one to the other, some with feigned excitement, others with revered concerned, all with a general sense of disbelief. “The last four trials were between 10-20TeV, we’ve never tried anything that high! We don’t know if the machine can handle a test of that magnitude,” protested Dr. Akava, head of mathematical physics and chief of the department that should be certifying whether or not 40 TeV was even a healthy thing to do. “We have reviewed the possible outcomes, and even though we will have to pull twice the amount of energy out of the grid, the Swiss government have been advised and are cooperating,” Father quickly retorted. Her sweet, controlled tone actually did help the situation. I looked over and Celine had been frantically writing down some calculations on a piece of paper, after a few seconds she shot up from her seat “Father, even if we try to reach 40 TeV, the math doesn’t support that this is possible! We can’t just throw the collider to the highest setting and hope for the best!” “Are there any other objections that you would like noted before we begin the experiment?” Father asked, completely ignoring Celine’s desperate pleas. Father surveyed the room and could see that she wasn’t going to be met with other objections, after all what was the point, they were going to go unheeded. “Excellent, then we shall proceed, meet in the control room at 22:00 hours,” Father announced as the Family got up from the table and left the Living Room.
No one said a word, we left in complete silence, made our way into the lift, and exited the building into the cold Swiss night. If the machine couldn’t handle the electron voltage, it could become structurally unstable and break apart, but being buried underground prevented this from being a catastrophe. There wouldn’t be loss of life, but the LHC would be rendered useless and billions of dollars worth of funding would be destroyed. On the other hand, if the experiment was successful and the door opened, could we close something functioning on 40 TeV? Our math had supported 10 TeV, 20Tev, Fuck even 30 TeV, but no one had dared go above that. However this is where our role as scientist ended and our regrettable role of secret experimenter began. All we could do was say yes. At 22:00 hours, with the Family assembled in the control room, and the handful of select CERN employees who understood the true nature of the experiment milling around, we commenced our grand try. “Begin,” was the only order that Father issued. The Family members at the control entered the required programming to begin the collider, and so our fateful experiment began.
“Release the First particle sample,” came the command. A few seconds later the sound of gas entering the collider could be heard. The gas started it’s 20+ mile journey around the collider gaining more and more speed. “Release the second particle sample,” another sound of whooshing gas entering the tube and travelling into the opposite direction as the first. Both gaining speed, travelling faster and faster, approaching the speed of light. In theory 40 was possible, but never advisable, however at 38, no specific structural damage signs were noted, nothing. “40 TeV achieved.” We looked at one another in astonishment. We had achieved what we thought was impossible: 40 TeV of energy was pushing the particles through the collider and we were sustaining it.” As the two particle clouds whizzed past each other, our first indication that something different was going to happen started to occur. There was a sudden spike in the temperature of the room. we could feel that it had gotten warmer, and the first reaction was one of panic. “SHUT THE MACHINE DOWN!” Came the first exclamation from a Family member. “The Machine is heating up, explosion could be imminent!” She continued. “WAIT!” Exclaimed father, her eyes glowing with the reflection of the computer screen in front of her, “Look at the core temperature read out, they haven’t changed, they’re perfectly normal!”
We each looked at the closest computer screen we could find, all of them showing that everything was going well, except for the fact that the thermostat in the room now read 35 degrees celsius, when we started out at a pleasant 20. Could this be it? “COMMENCE THE COLLISION SEQUENCE.” Father barked the order into the microphone near her control console. “Collision in 4…3…2…” The methodical voice announced over the intercom. “1″ – An ethereal blinding light consumed the room, I had never experienced anything like this before. The temperature dropped back down to 20 degrees, and the light was overpowering us. We couldn’t see our own hands in front of our faces. Suddenly there was a blood curdling scream, like someone being horribly beaten, followed by complete and total silence and then darkness. “Is everyone ok!” Celine was shouting from her side of the room. “I’m fine!” I called back, “Sound off!” “Mantill, code: Fam-0113″ “D’Accord, Code: Fam-0115″ “Chung, Code: Fam – 0114″ The Family members present started to scream out their names and code designation as our eyes adjusted to the total darkness that had encompassed the room.
With the sound of a bang the emergency red lighting bathed the room in a lambent glow. We could make out shadows, but no distinguishing features. By this time, approximately 2 minutes after our encounter with the white light, we still had not heard Father sound off.” “Where is Father!” Dr. Chung called out. We all turned to the seat that Father sat in, and could see a lump on the chair, but no sign of her. I entered the panel code to open the emergency exit and made my way through the escape corridor to the lighting box at the end of the hall. I turned the breaker and the normal lighting filled the control room again. Panic struck for Father’s well being I turned and ran back into the control room. All of my fellow scientists were in complete and total awe. Nothing in the room was out of place, and the temperature had returned to normal, however sitting in Father’s chair was a pile of her effects. Celine ran up to the chair Father once filled and looked down with a gasp. “She’s gone! All of her things are here, her jewellery, her clothes, her tamp…, everything!” Where Father sat now rested her physical possessions. She had vanished into thin air.

If the strange matter hypothesis is correct and its surface tension is larger than the aforementioned critical value, then a larger strangelet would be more stable than a smaller one. One speculation that has resulted from the idea is that a strangelet coming into contact with a lump of ordinary matter could convert the ordinary matter to strange matter.[14][15] This "ice-nine"-like disaster scenario is as follows: one strangelet hits a nucleus, catalyzing its immediate conversion to strange matter. This liberates energy, producing a larger, more stable strangelet, which in turn hits another nucleus, catalyzing its conversion to strange matter. In the end, all the nuclei of all the atoms of Earth are converted, and Earth is reduced to a hot, large lump of strange matter.
