Can we afford to hate ? Empty
PostSubject: Can we afford to hate ?   Can we afford to hate ? I_icon_minitimeWed Nov 25, 2015 10:20 am

This post went all over the place...but maybe there's something that
will generate a thought...I'm not happy with it, but it celebrates God
so that part's good.  I'll leave it I guess.

We all know, 'hate the sin, not the sinner.'  We've all sinned against God,
and we know the mighty works of converted sinners in the Bible.

The Gospel is for every creature: man, woman and child, on the face of the
earth, and God reserves Judgement unto Himself.
There are people and places that we just don't go to, don't listen to, don't follow, don't evangelize  in our own determinations.  This is where our judgement comes into play.
Yet if God says "Go" and we are sure of His Voice, then we know He's the One
going.  We are just the feet or the mouth, and we need fear not.

I don't walk in 'the Power of the Annointing' very often, and only lightly usually (but even so-what I witnessed was a lifetimes worth) which I'm sure is a blessing as I found it very intense and challenging (to keep the mind stilled and the flesh under submission.)  But I understand better now, and maybe we're all surviving now by the Power and don't even know it.  I suppose we are.  Thank you, God!

But  'Annointing sufficient for the task" will be provided to meet every need as it arises, whether it be physical strength, faith, wisdom, understanding, compassion, provision,  protection, etc.  It will be there IF God is First in our DAILY lives.

The simplest way to know we are not alone is to do something for someone else.
The Power comes when we need to do something beyond ourselves...something we have no capacity to meet in the natural.  I believe that's accurate. It is according to what I've observed, but if I'm off I expect to be told, and I will come here and tell. Wink

It's true that God's Mercies are boundless and He acts compassionately even towards unbelievers.  But we who profess to follow Jesus should live in Awareness
and cultivate-tend to the Garden-where we meet Him for fellowship each day.

And that's something that we all need to examine and take stock of often!
As Jesus said to Martha,  You are troubled-busy over many things,
Luke 10:42 but one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

How can we possibly live as Jesus taught?  To love our neighbor as ourselves,
to turn the other cheek, to give even beyond what was asked for?
And the biggie, which resolves every other issue: to live without fear?
"Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts."

The confidence required to do what God asks lies solely in "It is no longer I who lives but He who lives in me."  "I die daily so that He might live in me."

Scripture teaches it is the SAME Spirit of God that was with Jesus who has been sent from heaven to live in you WHEN you accepted the washing of the shed blood and were cleansed of all sin. The wall has been broken down!

You and I have been redeemed from the wages of sin, and restored to Fellowship with God as Abba Father!

I just can't even ever write that without 'spiritually' being knocked right off my feet..or chair, as it were.

I mean, come on!  What more on heaven or earth could we ever ascribe to!
How can we even put words to our Good Fortune.

The flesh fears death because the flesh is not yet redeemed.  But by the Spirit
we are IN CHRIST in whom there is no death.
What about loved ones, family, friends?  PRAY.  You may witness their conversion, you might not.  But God is well able to answer the prayers of the Righteous SO THAT your Joy might be complete.

I don't want to die a natural death and leave my daughter behind.  I struggle with this. I haven't yielded her to God.  As if I could do better than God.  dur.
After a blessedly short time of frantically trying to educate myself on her conditions at birth, I had to admit there was no amount of earthly knowledge that could guarantee she would live.   When I acknowledged that was in God's Hands Alone
there came such a peace that I'm almost surprised it wasn't visible.  I have to do that again. And maybe some of you, too.

God will freely give us ALL that we might lack.  Isn't that amazing?

Well, I didn't say what I thought I would.  But  I don't talk about these kinds of things except as I have been made to experience first hand; to have actually walked through the lesson in daily life.

When we were first thinking on enemies from the M.E. don't you know I was put into a situation where I had to rely on one such person of another faith?  I wrote about it here.  I did pause and look for the nod from the heavens though. lol.
And it turned out to be a 'God touched' experience that blessed us both.

I was so impressed that I decided the safest path was to call no man my enemy,
but we know there are forces at work on the earth.  But God is not going to walk us into ANY situation where He is not.  So we listen for Him to direct us and we CAN count on Him, no matter how it looks in the natural.
We just don't often realize the extent of His Power and the magnitude of what He will do for us.

God stands where you stand.  Is He afraid?  Does he know whether to answer the door or not?  Can He render you invisible?  Yepper!  And is there any place to hide from God if He wants you Home?
This fleshly struggle is another to subdue, to bring under submission to the Word.

Jude 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

Psalms 103 (all of it, and)  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:

So many assurances in the Word.  Believe them and trust Him who died for you so that you might live forever, whether 'here' or 'there', always with Him with us! I love you
