EMP Day 1, SHTF

I don't know if this has been previously posted or not. I watched/listened to the narrative series yesterday, and found it pretty interesting. Brought up some points I hadn't considered.

1. Don't go shopping after it
2. Don't expose arms unnecessarily, avoid unruly looking individuals or groups.
3. Get away from larger cities before it happens, be watchful for signs.

Sounded a lot like all of the many MANY SHTF stories I have loaded on my Kindle. Nuke or solar flare, they all result in the inevitable EMP. Only the stories and characters change a little. Amazon has plenty of independent and inspired self published authors and lots of SHTF stories can be had (both good and bad) for as little as 99 cents for Kindle. Go check out A. American's survivalist series for one of the best self published authors out there. I have 'em all. (7 books so far) I've never been able to listen to audio books but I do read a lot of 'em.

One of my favorites is Lights Out by David Crawford. I have the dead tree paper version. Also of course One Second After, One Year After, and The Final Day* (* Pre-ordered ) by William R. Forstchen. Then there's Patriots by James Wesley Rawles. I have all these in dead tree versions plus many more.
