just came in from our garden, having a cup of coffee and sitting here thinking about stuff (wife usually get scared when i do this ). do ya'll fully understand how shallow  the teachings of the bible are today?....how so very little is known about the history or the underlying foundations of bible doctrines are?....how utterly ignorant the so-called "christian masses" are ( yeah, i didn't capitalize it because their Jesus ain't the same one as mine) and the ones that do know a little something about the bible usually base it on childish stupidity?....the dumbass's are perfectly content to sit their butts in a pew and let some seminary-trained propaganda merchant (yeah, i know there are still some good ones left, but i don't think there as many as some would like to think)spew bullshit dogma and "isms" that are mostly, based on traditions of men....they are too damned lazy to study it for themselves and look for real truths.....i don't know whether i am disappointed,fed up, mad as hell, or whatnot, but i am disgusted with the modern version of Christianity....the truth is skewed, and if people don't know what the actual truth is, they just make shit up, and that is mainly coming from the pulpit.....the sheeple in the pews don't care as long as it fits their "belief system"....francis bacon said it best when he said "people prefer to believe what they prefer to be the truth"......my rant has now officially ended, but i do reserve the right to resume it at any time

A lot of debate on exactly WHO the HE is in Daniel chapter 9 vs 26 – some say the Anti-christ other say it's someone else paving the way. After studying this passage many times it’s just to ambiguous to know for sure.
 
For the record, I do not thing Trump is the Anti-christ!
 
After viewing the video in the Spring post above maybe Michael371 will hopefully wish to continue his “rant”. We love a good rant here.

2 Timothy 3-4 Paul said to Timothy, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

We see various degrees of this in today's "churches." From people being taught what they want to hear to people only being taught the "good and uplifting" parts of the Bible and treating the church gathering as nothing more than a social gathering hidden behind a facade of religious teachings. Of course, there are still churches that hold to the Scriptures and teach them, but they are fewer and further between than what they used to be.

As far as the seminaries go, I am glad I wasn't able to go to one, as I wanted to, and had to learn by studying myself and the help of those I trusted. Most of them have their dogma, and they cherry pick the scriptures to support it instead of learning the scriptures to come up with their beliefs. Then they teach their dogma to their students, teach them how to cherry pick the scriptures, and the cycle continues. I am by no means saying I have it all correct! Just saying I am glad I didn't get stuck in that cycle.
