Cris David Putnam, 51, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, evening March 1, 2017. Born on June 15, 1965 in Albuquerque, New Mexico; he was the son of Majel Leonhardt Putnam and the late David Putnam. He attained his Masters Degree from Liberty University and was a published Christian author.

He is survived by his wife: Michelle Huisman Putnam, of Raleigh; mother: Majel Putnam, of Raleigh; brother: Russell Putnam and wife Sharon, of Garner; and by his furry companion: "Mickey".
