I Feel Sick, Because The U.S. Is On The Verge Of Making An Extremely Costly Mistake
I Feel Sick, Because The U.S. Is On The Verge Of Making An Extremely Costly Mistake User By Michael Snyder, on April 14th, 2017

I Feel Sick, Because The U.S. Is On The Verge Of Making An Extremely Costly Mistake Nuclear-Explosion-Public-Domain-460x460All day long I have just felt sick.  Right at this moment, we are closer to war with North Korea than we have been at any point since the Korean War ended in 1953.  If Donald Trump decides to launch a military strike against North Korea’s nuclear facilities, the consequences could be absolutely catastrophic.  The North Koreans have already promised to launch nukes at South Korea and at U.S. military bases in the region in return, and they also have vast stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons that they could use as well.  To get an idea of the chaos that just a handful of North Korean agents armed with biological weapons could unleash inside the United States, just see this article.  A military strike on North Korea could be the spark that sets off a global war in which millions of people die, and so we need to do all that we can to prevent this from happening.  My hope is that if people make enough noise that Trump will back down and decide not to attack.
Earlier today, I was sent the following piece of intel.  I was told that I could share it with all of my readers as long as I kept the name of the individual that sent it to me out of it.  According to this source, it certainly looks as though an attack is being prepared…
Quote :
An O-5 silver maple leaf Air Force puke says the bomb buses in Guam are maximum loaded, fully fueled and reserves are topped off.  ‎ Reserves are only topped off just before the buses go airborne.
Kunsan has everything pointed north and ALL gates are closed…no traffic in or out.
7 air wings have been moved into the area and an augmented Carl Vinson CVN-70 (not alone) (per CMC x 2  and an O-5) has also moved into the area.
An O-5 barker and an O-6 Marine says all Easter leave has been cancelled with ALL‎ loaded up, geared up and warming up in several theaters.
Castle is locked and loaded.
Seoul is moving essential government and military personnel, as is true for U.S. Command Components and Personnel located at Yongsan‎, further south to Daegu.
AND…Red Cloud is ready to go on the war path with nobody sleeping in the wigwams, all the arrows have been taken from the box.
For those that don’t know, “Kunsan” refers to a U.S. Air Force base that is located at Gunsan Airport on the west coast of the Korean peninsula.
But just because these preparations are being made does not mean that a strike will actually happen.  In fact, there are some signs that indicate that we will not see a U.S. attack over the next several days.
For one thing, Vice President Mike Pence is scheduled to be in South Korea on Sunday and Monday.  So it would seem that it would be quite unlikely that anything would happen during that time.
In addition, Fox News is reporting that the Trump administration has come to the conclusion that military force should not be used against North Korea…
Quote :
But a U.S. military official, who requested anonymity to discuss planning, said the U.S. doesn’t intend to use military force against North Korea in response to either a nuclear test or a missile launch. The official said plans could change in the unlikely event a North Korean missile targets South Korea, Japan or U.S. territory.
But of course things seem to shift hour to hour with the Trump administration.  On Thursday, NBC News was reporting that the U.S. military was poised “to launch a preemptive strike with conventional weapons against North Korea” if it looked like the North Koreans were about to conduct a nuclear weapons test…
Quote :
The U.S. is prepared to launch a preemptive strike with conventional weapons against North Korea should officials become convinced that North Korea is about to follow through with a nuclear weapons test, multiple senior U.S. intelligence officials told NBC News.
North Korea has warned that a “big event” is near, and U.S. officials say signs point to a nuclear test that could come as early as this weekend.
So I don’t know what is going to happen.  But without a doubt we are very close to war with North Korea at this moment, and I am going to join with millions of others to do whatever we can to prevent that from happening.
A war with North Korea would be far different from the wars that the U.S. military has been fighting in the Middle East.  An ideology known as “Juche” is essentially the national religion of North Korea.  In Juche, the people are put at the center of everything, and “the leader” is considered to be at the center of the people.  In other words, “the leader” is almost put at the level of a deity.
It is a very sick and twisted philosophy, but here in the western world we need to understand that when we openly talk about killing Kim Jong-Un on television and on the Internet, we are essentially threatening to kill their “god”.
And the reason that is a problem is because Kim Jong-Un is surrounded by throngs of brainwashed supporters that will carry out any order that he gives them.
Here in the western world, we consider it to be highly immoral to use chemical and biological weapons against innocent civilian populations, but the North Koreans do not share those moral values.
The North Koreans consider the United States to be the great force for evil in the world, and if they feel like their way of life is being threatened by the U.S. they will not hesitate to use those sorts of weapons.
And of course they are constantly threatening to use nuclear weapons against us.  Just today I saw a report that talked about how the North Koreans are threatening to unleash “nuclear thunderbolts”, and in another report the North Koreans were quoted as saying they would “ruthlessly ravage” the United States if they are attacked…
Quote :
North Korea upped its warmongering with Donald Trump today in a series of menacing boasts threatening to ‘ravage’ US troops amid fears the two countries are heading for war.
The secretive state vowed to ‘pulverize’ US bases and South Korean capital Seoul if it was threatened by the US military, which is carrying out drills on the Korean peninsula. A US aircraft carrier group is steaming towards the region.
It claimed it would ‘ruthlessly ravage’ the US if Washington attacked.
North Korea is one of the most wicked nations on the entire planet, and I would certainly greatly rejoice if their government were to fall.
But I don’t see any way that a military strike on North Korea would be successful.
If the North Koreans were able to fire even a single nuclear or chemical warhead at a major city such as Seoul or Tokyo it would be the worst foreign policy disaster in the history of the United States.  The North Koreans would certainly be blamed, but the Trump administration would also be blamed for conducting such a reckless attack in the first place.  Our relationships with our allies in the region would be permanently destroyed, and this would benefit China greatly.
Without using nukes in an overwhelming first strike (which would be unthinkable), I don’t believe that there is any possible way that we could take out all of North Korea’s nukes before they had a chance to at least fire some of them off.
And if North Korea did nuke Seoul or Tokyo or any U.S. military bases in the region, we would almost be forced to respond with nukes of our own, and that would have to be followed up by a massive ground invasion to topple the regime.
So if Donald Trump is reading this, for the good of humanity I would like to strongly urge him not to conduct a military strike on North Korea at this time.  The risk is just way too great, and if things go wrong we could easily be looking at a scenario in which millions of people end up dead.

Where Will You Go When North Korean Agents Release Biological Weapons In Major U.S. Cities?
April 13, 2017 by Michael Snyder

I Feel Sick, Because The U.S. Is On The Verge Of Making An Extremely Costly Mistake Prepper-Photo-by-Nomadic-Lass-on-FlickrMost Americans have no idea that biological weapons could potentially bring our nation to a complete and utter standstill within a matter of days.  In recent articles I have been trying to get people to understand why it would be so exceedingly dangerous for the United States to attack North Korea.  If the North Koreans used weapons of mass destruction, we could easily be facing a situation in which millions of North Korean and Japanese citizens end up dead.  But since it would happen on the other side of the planet, such a scenario doesn’t seem to emotionally move a lot of people.  So today, I want to try to get people to understand the immense devastation that just a handful of North Korean agents could cause inside our own country.

A war with North Korea would be fundamentally different from other wars, because there would be no line that the North Koreans would not be willing to cross.  They would use nukes, they would use chemical weapons, and they would not hesitate to even use biological weapons on innocent civilian populations.
To give you an idea of what a North Korean attack using biological weapons may look like, I have created the following scenario…
In the aftermath of a massive U.S. military strike on North Korea’s nuclear facilities, North Korean agents that have been embedded inside the United States for years quickly start going to work.  In Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco, small containers that had been covertly smuggled into the U.S. are opened and dropped on the ground in the middle of large groups of people.
At first nothing seems to happen, but pretty rapidly those that have been exposed start developing puffy white sores and blisters on their skin.  When this hits the news, panic begins to spread as people realize that this appears to be a coordinated attack.  Before too long, others that have been exposed to a different bioweapon start bleeding profusely from their eyes, ears, mouths and noses.  People drop dead by the thousands, and a national health crisis is declared.
Economic activity comes to a complete halt as everyone becomes deathly afraid of leaving their own homes.  Hospitals and other medical facilities are completely overwhelmed because they can only treat a small fraction of those that are dying.  Because these weaponized diseases were designed to spread like wildfire, pretty soon nearly every community in America is affected.
The federal government attempts to intervene, but it is powerless to stop the spread of these pandemics.  Thousands of dead bodies lie rotting in the streets of our major cities because there aren’t enough people willing to take the risk of burying them.  And because virtually everyone is camping out at home, essential public services start to break down very rapidly and our society descends into a state of utter chaos.
Are you starting to get the picture?
If the North Koreans ever conducted such an attack, we would probably have a very difficult time proving that they were responsible.
As people got sick and dropped dead by the thousands, the public would certainly demand vengeance.  Our politicians could point their fingers at North Korea, but of course such an attack could also be conducted by Russia, China, Iran or a number of different radical Islamic terror organizations.
Here in the western world, using biological weapons in this manner is absolutely unthinkable, but the North Koreans have little use for our moral standards.  They have been working very hard to develop a very robust bioweapons program, and according to those that have studied these things, the North Koreans definitely have the capability of launching the type of attack that I just described above…
Quote :
A South Korean government white paper published in 2012 suggested that North Korea is capable of producing a variety of biological weapons, “including anthrax, smallpox, pest, francisella tularensis, and hemorrhagic fever virus.”
And unlike other types of weapons, biological weapons can simply be carried to their targets by the wind.  The following is an excerpt from a recent report from the Rand corporation…
Quote :
“North Korea could use biological weapons against a variety of military and civilian targets in South Korea. Biological weapons would likely be delivered as an aerosol of some kind that would be dispersed and then carried by the wind. Many people downwind of the release location would be exposed unless they wore some form of protection or were physically located in a place that protected them from exposure. This is particularly true if the attacker creates a line source by spraying, for example, the BW agent while driving along a road perpendicular to the wind. According to one source, 1 kilogram of anthrax could spread lethal effects over 0.2 to 2.6 square kilometers, depending on wind and weather conditions. The nighttime population density of Seoul averages about 20,000 people per square kilometer, meaning that upward of about 50,000 people could be effectively exposed by 1 kilogram of anthrax. But in conditions less favorable to the attacker, including poor atmospheric conditions and many people living in high-rise buildings that lack central heating and ventilation, as few as 2,000 people might be effectively exposed by 1 kilogram of anthrax. Multiple attacks could increase these results.”
Thanks to our ridiculously porous borders, it would be no problem at all to smuggle these types of weapons into the United States.  My guess is that if we do go to war with North Korea, it won’t be very long at all before North Korean agents that are already embedded here are given the order to attack.
In addition to biological weapons, it is also important to remember that it is estimated that North Korea has an arsenal of up to 5,000 tons of chemical weapons.  The moment that the U.S. begins attacking the North Koreans, they could respond by firing off missiles armed with chemical warheads at Seoul, Tokyo and other major cities in the region.  If this were to happen, the death toll would likely be absolutely catastrophic.
It is funny that China has become the voice of reason in this crisis.  They are urging both sides to cool down, and they are warning the U.S. that an attack on North Korea could quickly become a complete nightmare…
Quote :
An editorial in the influential newspaper Global Times, which is published by the Chinese Communist Party’ People’s Daily, said the situation on the Korean Peninsula could not be compared to that of Syria.
“Taking military actions against North Korea is much more risky than launching a missile strike on Syria. Pyongyang is able to deal a heavy blow to South Korea. Regardless of Pyongyang’s nuclear capability, a radiological dispersal device, or a ‘dirty bomb,’ if thrown on the South, will cause nuclear pollution, which will be unbearable to this US ally,” the newspaper warned.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that either side is willing to back down.
In fact, it is being reported that North Korea may be preparing to conduct a major nuclear test as early as this weekend…
Quote :
A Voice of America journalist tweeted that US government sources believe North Korea had placed a nuclear device in a tunnel and it could be detonated as early as this weekend.
It comes after Washington-based 38 North, a website that monitors North Korea, said satellite images from Saturday showed vehicles and trailers at the Punggye-ri test site and signs that communications cables may have been laid to a test tunnel.
If the North Koreans detonate a nuclear device within the next few days, that might be the final straw for Trump.
And whether a nuclear test happens or not, the North Koreans seem to be preparing for war.  It is being reported that Kim Jong-Un has ordered nearly 600,000 people to leave the capital, and he has placed his military on the highest state of alert.
This is one of the reasons why I am always strongly urging my readers to get prepared.  If you wait to take action until war starts and weapons of mass destruction are being used, it will be way too late to gather the food and supplies that you and your family will need.
Let us certainly hope that the kind of scenario that I have laid out in this article does not happen, but at this point both Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un do not appear to be bluffing, and that means that anything is possible.

China has warned the US against using military force against North Korea, after a surprise redeployment of an aircraft carrier group. Washington’s regional allies said they expect it to consult with them before any action.
Tension is mounting in the region as US President Donald Trump said he would solve the “North Korean problem” with or without China’s help. The warning came amid the diversion of the aircraft carrier group ‘USS Carl Vinson’ to the Korean Peninsula and a week after Trump ordered the US Navy to fire a barrage of 59 Tomahawk missiles at a Syrian airbase as punishment for an alleged chemical attack in Idlib province.

Responding to US belligerence, Beijing called against using force against Pyongyang.
“Military force cannot resolve the issue,” Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told reporters in Beijing. “Amid challenge there is opportunity. Amid tensions we will also find a kind of opportunity to return to talks.”
Regardless of Pyongyang's nuclear capability, a radiological dispersal device, or a ‘dirty bomb,’ if thrown on the South, will cause nuclear pollution, which will be unbearable to this US ally,” the newspaper warned.
The paper said Washington needs to accept the reality that it “has no power to put global affairs in order at the moment” and work with other leading world powers on the Korean situation through the UN Security Council, a body that the US has shun by the unilateral attack against Syria.
US allies in the region, South Korea and Japan, have both asked Washington to consult with them before taking military action against Pyongyang. Both countries station thousands of US troops on their territories.
The escalation comes as North Korea prepares to celebrate the birthday of its late leader Kim Il-sung on Saturday, which is a state holiday called ‘Day of the Sun’. Pyongyang has a record of timing demonstrations of military strength to the date, as many observers say it might to so this year to test Trump’s resolve.
A Washington-based think tank, 38 North, claimed on Wednesday that satellite images of the North's Punggye-ri nuclear test site indicated an imminent new test. South Korean officials disagreed, saying no new activities were evident, but added that a sixth test may be conducted at any time.

Donald Trump Is NOT Bluffing – So What Happens If Kim Jong-Un Is Not Bluffing Either?

April 12, 2017 by Michael Snyder

I Feel Sick, Because The U.S. Is On The Verge Of Making An Extremely Costly Mistake Nuclear-War-Blast-Public-Domain-600x537Donald Trump has repeatedly promised to “solve” the North Korean problem, and the North Koreans have repeatedly promised to use nuclear weapons in response to any attack by the U.S. military.  So what happens if both sides are not bluffing?  For eight years, Americans had become accustomed to Barack Obama making threats and never following through on them, so it surprised a lot of people when Trump actually backed up his words by striking Syria after publicly pledging to do so.  Now Trump has publicly committed to take military action in North Korea, and I am absolutely convinced that he is not bluffing.  But if Kim Jong-Un is not bluffing either, and I don’t think that he is, that means that we are on the verge of what could be a horrifying military conflict with the North Koreans.

The critical moment could actually be just hours away.  Foreign journalists in North Korea have been instructed to be ready to witness a “big and important event” on Thursday, and many believe that this “event” could be the testing of a large nuclear device.

And if it doesn’t happen on Thursday, it may happen during the birthday anniversary of North Korea’s founder Kim Il Sung on Saturday.  According to a report that just came out, the North Koreans have placed a nuclear bomb “in a tunnel” in preparation for a test detonation during the celebration on Saturday…
Quote :
In a striking development involving the rapidly changing North Korean geopolitical situation, moments ago Voice of America reported Steve Herman reported that according to US government and other sources say, North Korea has “apparently placed a nuclear device in a tunnel and it could be detonated Saturday AM Korea time.”
Needless to say, publicly testing a nuclear bomb at this stage would be the ultimate act of defiance by North Korea, and it is likely that such a move would push Trump over the edge.
But even without a nuclear test, it is believed by many that Trump is on the verge of striking North Korea anyway.  In fact, Jack Posobiec claims that a source has told him that an attack on the North Koreans is “imminent”…
Quote :
Rebel TV’s Washington Bureau Chief Jack Posobiec warned to his followers on Twitter Tuesday that a strike on North Korea is “imminent.”
“Breaking: North Korea Strike Imminent,” Posobiec tweeted. “From [the] same source that warned me about Syria strikes last Thursday morning.”
But striking North Korea is much different than striking Syria.
In order for any attack to be successful, the U.S. military would have to locate every single North Korean nuclear device and either destroy or retrieve them all in the initial assault, because Kim Jong-Un has promised to use nuclear weapons if the U.S. strikes.
Unfortunately, that would not be easy.  North Korea’s cities are honeycombed with underground tunnels and bunkers, and simply locating where all of their nukes are being held would be just about impossible.  And so destroying or retrieving all of those weapons is going to take time.  Just consider the results of a “recent Pentagon war game”…
Quote :
A recent Pentagon war game against the fictional country of “North Brownland,” a country whose dynastic family regime had nuclear weapons that had to be recovered during a regime collapse, found that US troops didn’t fare well in retrieving those weapons. V-22 Osprey aircraft were cut off from the rest of the allied forces and surrounded by the enemy. The result was the United States would have to fight through the countryside to the North’s estimated 100 nuclear-related sites. In all it took the US 46 days and 90,000 troops to secure those weapons.
If North Korea was able to fire off a single nuke, the operation would be a total disaster for Donald Trump and the U.S. military.
And even if we somehow got all their nukes, North Korea also has one of the largest arsenals of chemical and biological weapons on the entire planet.  Could you imagine how the world would view Trump if footage of thousands of people in Seoul and Tokyo choking on nerve gas started circulating all over the planet?
If Trump bungles this thing and a scenario such as that plays out, we will lose South Korea and Japan as friends forever.
Personally, the only way that I can see an attack on North Korea being a success is if Kim Jong-Un is actually bluffing and he decides not to use his vast arsenal of weapons of mass destruction.
Is Trump willing to bet the lives of countless numbers of South Korean and Japanese citizens on the fact that Kim Jong-Un is bluffing?
That would be incredibly foolish, because I don’t think that Kim Jong-Un is bluffing.  I believe that the moment the U.S. attacks, the North Koreans will open fire with thousands of rockets and artillery pieces.  The following comes from Business Insider…
Quote :
North Korea will open with artillery and rocket fire from positions on the North slopes of the mountains just across the border. The North has the world’s largest artillery force with 10,000 pieces in their arsenal. The bulk of these forces are at the border, with much of the rest around Pyongyang and near Nampo, the site of their electricity-producing dam. It is likely that the South Korean capital of Seoul, just 35 miles from the border, would be the first target and would be devastated in the opening salvos.
The initial barrage would be followed by a massive invasion of South Korea, and vast numbers of U.S. ground troops would be needed to keep South Korea from being completely overrun.
Needless to say, China is completely freaked out by the prospect of a new Korean War.  They are urging Trump “to find a peaceful solution to the crisis”, and it is being reported that the Chinese have put their forces on “nationwide alert”…
Quote :
China has put its military on “nationwide alert” while ordering 25,000 more troops to prepare to be sent to the North Korean border as tensions build.
Citing the Information Center for Human Rights and Democracy, a nongovernmental organization in Hong Kong, the Oriental Daily News reports that Beijing has ordered troops from all five of its military regions to be on high alert due to the escalating crisis in the region.
You can see some video of Chinese vehicles moving toward the border with North Korea here.  Just like during the original Korean War, the U.S. could ultimately end up in a direct military conflict with China if things spiral completely out of control.
So I don’t know why so many people are excited about a potential war with North Korea.  Millions of people could die, and it could be the spark that sets off World War III.  Thankfully there are watchmen out there such as Steve Quayle that are deeply concerned about what is coming…
