After months of dribbling out incomplete document requests made by frustrated GOP lawmakers, President Trump may be about to override Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and use his presidential authority to declassify several caches of information related to the DOJ/FBI's ongoing Trump-Russia counterintelligence operation, according to former IBD Bureau Chief Paul Sperry.
Sperry tweeted on Sunday that President Trump may declassify: 20 redacted pages of a June, 2017 FISA renewal, "and possibly" 63 pages of emails and notes between "Ohr & Steele," and FD-302 summaries of 12 interviews - In reference to twice-demoted DOJ official Bruce Ohr and/or his wife Nellie, both of whom were working with opposition research firm Fusion GPS to investigate Trump.

Meanwhile, several frustrated GOP lawmakers have called for the full release of the requested documents - with Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows (R-NC) and Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) calling for their declassification recently, and Meadows and other members drawing up articles of impeachment against Rosenstein, only to withdraw them shortly thereafter.

.@JudicialWatch now has Carter Page FISA docs. They are heavily redacted but seem to confirm the FBI and DoJ misled the courts in withholding info about Clinton-DNC being behind the info used to get the FISA warrant.

Let's see if the president will follow suit and declassify documents that could only help his case. Then again, the DOJ is likely to scream "sources and methods!" and claim that the lives of countless intelligence officials will be forever compromised.

Update at 2:42pm: New figures in for the Donnell Fire describe it as at 11,074 acres with two percent containment; size reduction occurs with more precise mapping.
Update at 12:05pm: A leader with the Donnell Fire Incident Command team has given an update to Clarke Broadcasting about efforts to protect areas like Kennedy Meadows and assess the damage at the Dardanelle Resort.
Jim Harris, an Incident Commander Trainee with the Central Coast Interagency Incident Command Team, says it will be a while before detailed specifics are known about the Dardanelle Resort and surrounding cabins and campgrounds. He notes, “We haven’t been able to break anyone off to do what we call damage assessment, and find out what has been saved and what has unfortunately been lost, and get all of those exact details.”
We confirmed earlier that the Dardanelle Resort was burned by the fire.
There are 300 firefighters assigned to the 12,000 acre Donnell Fire, and that includes overhead, the management team, and logistics.
Harris adds, “The firefighters we do have are stretched really thin, and we don’t have enough firefighting resources to address everything we’d like. They have all been prioritized and only engaged in structure protection and defense at this time.”
A mandatory evacuation order remains in place for the Highway 108 corridor from Eagle Meadow to the Kennedy Meadows Resort.
All of the remaining structures along the Highway 108 corridor, which haven’t been hit by the fire, such as Kennedy Meadows Resort, are being treated and prepped for structure defense, and very much remain threatened.
Harris says, “What’s happening is that along that river (Stanislaus) drainage, in the afternoon the wind is blowing up the drainage, and we are getting gusts of 20-30 mph. As the fire grows, it is also adding to the wind, and it is becoming very erratic and fire activity increases dramatically from around two in the afternoon until seven o’clock at night.”
A mix of air and ground resources are assigned to the incident, including air tankers and DC-10’s. However, there has been a limited window to drop water and retardant due to an inversion layer that has been making visibility difficult in the morning and early afternoons.
A positive tidbit is that once the fire moves past the evacuated area along the Highway 108 corridor, it will primarily be burning within an isolated wilderness region without structures.
Harris notes, “Being optimistic, we think we can corral this thing, within the wilderness, after we are done mitigating all of the current structure threat.”
More resources have been ordered and will continue to arrive over the coming hours and days.
Update at 10:00am: The Pacific Crest Trail has been closed from Highway 108 to Highway 4 as of August 6th due to the proximity of the Donnell Fire.

Update at 8:50am: The Forest Service reports that the Donnell Fire in the Stanislaus National Forest is now 12,000 acres and there is only one percent containment.
The fire has been primarily burning along the north bank of the Middle Fork of the Stanislaus River in steep and rough terrain through heavy amounts of dead and dying trees. Getting needed resources has been challenging, according to the Forest Service. Other local incident command teams have been sharing aircraft and personnel as needed. At one point over the weekend a DC-10 was assisting.
We reported earlier that the fire did heavy damage through the Dardanelle and Brightman areas, and several structures were destroyed. No additional information has been made available this morning. Highway 108 is closed at Eagle Meadow, approximately 13 miles east of Strawberry.

Original story posted at 5:30am: Tuolumne County, CA — The Forest Service reports that the Donnell Fire jumped Highway 108 at Brightman Flat yesterday which forced crews to disengage from the fire’s intense edge.
As a result, it destroyed numerous cabins and structures in the area of Dardanelle Resort and Brightman Flat. The Forest Service reports, “An assessment of the amount of loss cannot be conducted safely or accurately until daylight hours…Fortunately the areas affected by the fire were evacuated early on August 5, resulting in no known injuries or fatalities.”
The fire is considered 6,000 acres and there is 2-percent containment. 273 firefighters are assigned to the incident, five hand crews, three helicopters and 11 engines. Due to other large fires in the state, resources are being ordered and filled as they are available, according to the Forest Service.
A larger Central Coast Interagency Incident Management Team assumed operations yesterday morning. A mandatory evacuation order remains in place for the Highway 108 corridor between Eagle Meadow Road and Kennedy Meadows, including all campgrounds and residences. Highway 108 is closed at Eagle Meadow.
A Donnell Fire public meeting has been scheduled for 5pm today at the Pinecrest Amphitheater and anyone can come and ask questions to fire managers.

PEOPLE AT THE STORE ON THE RUSTIC PORCH SHOWING THEIR 28LB RAINBOW TROUT AND DINER IN THE VERY SMALL RESTAURANT INSIDE OR ON THE PORCH. PRIM RIB OR TROUT SO GOOD RIVALS THE BIG PLACES!

Forgotten history: US bankers financing US enemies—and why it is important now

In 1971, Gary Allen published his book, None Dare Call it Conspiracy. It quickly became an unofficial best seller.
Over the years, several million copies have been sold.
Allen’s thesis was stark: super-rich American capitalists were financing socialism. This bizarre paradox was resolved when socialism was properly understood—not as “power to the people”—but as elite power over the people. In other words, as a hoax.
These days, the socialist hoax is still unknown to most of the population.
Cloak a global power grab as progress for all of humanity.
Here, from chapter six of None Dare Call it Conspiracy, “The Rockefellers and the Reds,” is a devastating passage commenting on the period just after the Russian Revolution of 1917:
“The Rockefellers assigned their public relations agent, Ivy Lee, to sell the American public the idea that the Bolsheviks were merely misunderstood idealists who were actually kind benefactors of mankind.”
“Professor Antony Sutton of Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, notes in his highly authoritative Western Technology and Soviet Economic Development:”
“’Quite predictably…[Ivy] Lee concludes that the communist problem is merely psychological. (Ibid, Vol.11, p.288) According to Professor Sutton: ‘In 1925, negotiations between Chase and [Russian] Prombank extended beyond the finance of raw materials and mapped out a complete program for financing Soviet raw material exports to the U. S. and imports of U. S. cotton and machinery.’ (Ibid, Vol.11, p.226) Sutton also reports that ‘Chase National Bank and the Equitable Trust Company were leaders in the Soviet credit business.’ (Ibid, p.277)”
“The Rockefeller’s Chase National Bank also was involved in selling Bolshevik bonds in the United States in 1928. Patriotic organizations denounced the Chase as an ‘international fence.’ Chase was called ‘a disgrace to America… They will go to any lengths for a few dollars profits.’ (Ibid, Vol.11, p.291) Congressman Louis McFadden, chairman of the House Banking Committee, maintained in a speech to his fellow Congressmen:”
“’The Soviet government has been given United States Treasury funds by the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Reserve Banks acting through the Chase Bank and the Guaranty Trust Company and other banks in New York City.”
“’Open up the books of Amtorg, the trading organization of the Soviet government in New York, and of Gostorg, the general office of the Soviet Trade Organization, and of the State Bank of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and you will be staggered to see how much American money has been taken from the United States’ Treasury for the benefit of Russia. Find out what business has been transacted for the State Bank of Soviet Russia by its correspondent, the Chase Bank of New York’. (Congressional Record, June 15, 1933.)”
“But the Rockefellers apparently were not alone in financing the Communist arm of the Insiders’ conspiracy. According to Professor Sutton ‘… there is a report in the State Department files that names Kuhn, Loeb & Co. (the long established and important financial house in New York) as the financier of the [Russians’] First Five Year Plan. See U. S. State Dept. Decimal File, 811.51/3711 and 861.50 FIVE YEAR PLAN/236.’ (Sutton, op. cit., Vol. II, p. 340n.)”
“Professor Sutton proves conclusively in his three volume history of Soviet technological development that the Soviet Union was almost literally manufactured by the U.S.A…”
“…Sutton shows that there is hardly a segment of the Soviet economy which is not a result of the transference of Western, particularly American, technology.”
“This cannot be wholly the result of accident. For fifty years the Federal Reserve-CFR-Rockefeller-lnsider crowd has advocated and carried out policies aimed at increasing the power of their satellite, the Soviet Union. Meanwhile, America spends $75 billion a year on defense to protect itself from the enemy the Insiders are building up.”
NOTE: The descendants of these bankers are now doing everything they can to build up the story that Donald Trump won the presidency by colluding with Russians. To call this an irony, in view of the above information, would be a vast understatement.
However, the motives of these current Globalists are clear: regardless of whether Trump meant to keep his promises to destroy Globalism (aka worldwide socialism), his mere mention of Globalism as the enemy, during the presidential campaign, and his declared opposition to Globalist “free trade” treaties, was sufficient to warrant an all-out attack on him.
The whole idea of nationalism as preferable to Globalism could act as a contagious germ spreading to the people of other countries—so Trump as the face and symbol of such sentiments had to be defamed and crushed.
Through various front organizations, cutouts, dupes, brainwashed useful idiots, and violent hired thugs, that operation to crush Trump is well underway.
Again—and this point must be understood—IT DOESN’T MATTER WHETHER TRUMP EVER MEANT TO KEEP HIS PROMISE TO BURY GLOBALISM. THE MERE MENTION OF GLOBALISM AS THE ENEMY WAS AND IS SUFFICIENT TO WARRANT UNCEASING ATTACKS AGAINST HIM.
Many, many of Trump’s supporters want to see Globalism buried.
Ultimately, they are the real target of the Globalists, who want to neutralize and disperse them and make them passive and demoralized.
