"Apocalyptic" Hail Storm Hits Tokyo Japan

Tokyo region battered by storms, severe hail

Tokyo and surrounding regions were hit with some extreme weather on June 24, as heavy rain, lightning storms and severe hail hit the area.
The Japan Meteorological Agency has said that the wild weather is being stirred up by extreme temperature differences between warm ground-level air and a cold air mass -- measured at minus 12 degrees Celsius and below -- sitting about 5,500 meters above the national capital region.
According to local residents in the Tokyo metropolitan cities of Mitaka and Chofu, several dozen centimeters of 10-yen-coin-sized hailstones fell on the area in the space of about an hour starting from around 3 p.m. Locals also said that the mix of heavy rain and hail formed whirlpools of ice and water in some places.

Meanwhile, two Yokohama men were hospitalized with severe injuries after they were likely hit by lightning. One man in Ishioka, Ibaraki Prefecture, was also taken to hospital with symptoms consistent with electrocution from lightning strikes.
Lightning was observed over a wide area on June 24, and Tokyo Electric Power Co. has stated that some 11,600 households in Kanagawa, Ibaraki and Chiba prefectures lost power.
According to the Meteorological Agency and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, at the storm's peak rainfall reached 68 millimeters per hour in Chofu, 48.5 in Chikusei, Ibaraki Prefecture, and 32 in Ebina, Kanagawa Prefecture. Furthermore, the ground floors of at least 28 Tokyo homes were flooded.
The meteorological agency explained that the heavy hail was due to the difference between ground and high-altitude temperatures, which created strong updrafts and promoted the formation of towering cumulonimbus storm clouds. The rising air prevents rain in the clouds from falling right away, causing the drops to freeze as they bounce up and down in the high-altitude air. Areas around Tokyo accumulated UP TO 10 CENTIMETERS of hail. That converts to just under 4 inches. They didn't --'get 10" of hail, WHUT!!!' as the video guy says. Seems like he means well, but may want to spend some of that energy on fact checking as this isn't a first. Or switch to decaff...

Fact checking???? What's that? Not in today's world! If it bleeds, it leads, is the mantra of the news outlets and facts be damned. We can always have a retraction, correction, and/or admit error later . . . or more likely NEVER.
Editors, proofreaders - - - - things of the past. In our ADD Ritalin Prozac society, who needs 'em?
And that doesn't only apply to the mainstream either. It's gotten and is getting more difficult daily to know who to trust.

Size Matters" du Chem Trails and weather manipulation can and does dump rain or anything else including tornado's
While there may be a LOT of Hail, it is not huge in size!, and scary words don't make it bigger!
Everyone wants a headline to catch attention... yes they got dumped on.
Spray, spray, spray on the west coast and you get the bad crap over the mountains and thru the woods on the way to 0's house of cards the bad weather goes. And don't forget to make note of the towns names in the news.... Pilgrim and such... GOD'S subtle way...
