Couple with Ebola article above and spread better in winter and your inability to move during a bad winter and what do you get.

I'd rather prepare for a heavier winter as in Food, Heating Fuels, Warm Clothing / Boots / Blankets, Snow Shoes, Matches, etc etc.

Ok.

I've got wood for stove, snow shoes, alternate electrical, alternate fuel cook stove, etc.
Every year I loose power even though they put in an extra tie in to power lines above the hills... why do I still loose it?
Doesn't matter.... the alternate heating, cooking, shower bag, and lighting have made things easy. Cook soup on the wood stove... what ever... I don't have to try to get somewhere to get anything! Let it snow let it snow.
Besides... what does anyone know for sure and that includes Mark Dice.... sounds Dicey to me!
