mr. researcher, i want to start by saying that you are my favorite poster on this forum because it appears that you were able to shed propaganda and dogma, and avoid the conditioning that takes place in organized religion and go on to form a belief system that is based on truth and not on assumption, spiritualization and heresy.....just based on what i have read from your posts through the years, i think that you and i are pretty damn close on our ideas of what the bible is telling us, and in some cases, what it is NOT telling us....in all honesty, i have really never disagreed with anything that you have written....you know truth and so do i and i just wanted to salute you because i see you as one who knows the score as opposed to many who THINK that they know the score.....
okay researcher, your opinion ,if you please, on the matter of the paradigm shift....for years, we have heard about a paradigm shift that is going to happen....this came fromvarious groups , new agers, charismatics, homosexuals, liberals.itis my opinion that this shift has already happened and it can be pinpointed to the scripture concerning men calling good evil and evil good....the reason that i say that the shift has happened is that nobody mentions it anymore and it seems that the social enviroment and structure has been turned upside down, with us being the "evil ones" and the criminals and degenerates being the ones that are admired and exalted.....what i am getting at, provided the paradigm shift has taken place, is that we are about to be attacked on all fronts and it seems very few see it coming, and the ones that do see it, are afraid to fight back....i am about the same age as you, and we both know that we don't have many years left, and based on current events, that is not really a bad thing, but i ask you "what are these young dumbasses going to do when all of us old folks are gone?".....people like us are the only ones trying to fight back.....yeah man, the clinton dog and pony show really killed any hope that i might have had left....that, and a former fishing buddy and best friend getting a divorce from his wife of 35 years.....great people, both of them....although i have not considered myself to be an american in over a year(the degenerate marriage thing brought that on)i really hit bottom this week....i just can't believe that the country that i grew up in has changed this much....i'm just worn out......mike

WOW, Michael, where do I even begin to start? That's a whole lot of questions to answer so I'll try in the coming days/weeks to get to them all. I can tell you this right now though that what you are noticing is right on the money. Lets start with that "paradigm shift" thing. I think it's hasn't happened yet however I do believe that we are currently in the thick of it happening now. I tend to use the term "cultural transition" for it so if you see me using that term now you'll know what I'm referring to. Art Bell, radio host of Coast to Coast AM for many years referred to it as "The Quickening". New age writer Marylin Ferguson wrote a book by that title that I read back in the early 90's (and since have donated to the local landfill). Anyway, lots of people are noticing. Things are definitely speeding up and getting crazier by the minute. Even rock musicians sing songs about it.
ALABAMA 1992
I'm in a hurry to get things done Oh I rush and rush until life's no fun All I really gotta do is live and die But I'm in a hurry and don't know why.
Don't know why I have to drive so fast My car has nothing to prove It's not new But it'll do 0 to 60 in 5.2.
Oh I'm in a hurry to get things done Oh I rush and rush until life's no fun All I really gotta do is live and die But I'm in a hurry and don't know why.
As we are so rushed and distracted things whiz by and change so fast that we can't keep up. 500 years ago the printing press was big news. It changed EVERYTHING. We called it The Renascence, the cultural transition that lifted us out of the dark ages. Once upon a time I used to be an electronics whiz. I could (and still can to a lesser extent) troubleshoot and fix almost anything. Give me much of today's tech and I'm totally lost. Can't keep up. Kids raised in the digital age can run circles around me with having known nothing else while I plod along with turntables, needles, and reel to reel tape on a vacuum tube amplifier. Blows the doors off anything digital, by the way. I say all that to point out that all this wonderful tech, and some of it truly is really wonderful, is also in my opinion turning us into a nation of Borg. We are being assimilated at a rapid pace and people pony up good money to be incarcerated in electronic prisons of their own making. Can't leave their smart phones alone for 5 frickin' minutes or wonder around in a trance state (and I do mean trance state) completely addicted. Try and point any of this out though and come prepared to see the thousand yard stare. I believe that our electronic and totally connected 24/7 universe is a big push in the direction of paradigm shift/cultural transition. It's also dumbing us down!!! If you've ever tried to hold a conversation with many people under 35-ish you know what I mean. The language has changed. Everything is abbreviated and/or misspelled. I'm not the greatest speller but I do know how to use spell-check. I frequently have to ask English speaking people if we are speaking the same language. That's NO JOKE! Remember George Orwells book 1984 and newspeak? We're in it! We even buy telescreens, er - ugh - televisions with microphones built into them (for voice commands) and put them in our living rooms now. They listen to everything you say. BTW, I don't own a TV set anymore.
We have 7 billion people on the planet and yet individually we've never been so alone.
More to come as I get time and get motivated. Speaking of dumbing down, don't even start me on schools and common core. Small hint: A dumb compliant population of non-thinkers is easy to control. Meanwhile, hang in there. I haven't even gotten to my views on religion and The Bible.
BTW, I don't see any reason others here can't chime in if they need to say their piece. This is a forum after all even if the topic addressed me personally.

i'm going to bed, but i want to converse with you about the book 1984 tomorrow....the book was required reading when i was in high school and now, ask a kid about it and they have no clue as to what it was.....when i had to read it, 10th grade, i think, i thought it was the dumbest, stupidest book in history....since i started doing biblical research, about 35 years ago, i have re-read it 3 or 4 times cover to cover, and consulted it many more times looking for a clue or two.....i'm sure that you know that 1984 was not a work of fiction, but a blueprint for the coming beast system and that the man that wrote the book was eric arthur blair and george orwell was his pen name....he was also a fabian socialist...its hard to find a copy now....i wonder why

Yeah, I know the history around Orwell and 1984. Also Animal Farm. I have both and have read them many times over the past 50 or so years. On along that same line do investigate Brave New World written in 1931 by Aldous Huxley. Yet another blueprint for today.
Brave New World is set in London of AD 2540 (632 A.F.β"After Ford"βin the book). The novel anticipates developments in reproductive technology, sleep-learning, psychological manipulation, and classical conditioning that combine profoundly to change society. Far in the future, the World Controllers have created the ideal society. Through clever use of genetic engineering, brainwashing and recreational sex and drugs all its members are happy consumers. Bernard Marx seems alone harbouring an ill-defined longing to break free. A visit to one of the few remaining Savage Reservations where the old, imperfect life still continues, may be the cure for his distress.
Brave New World wrote:

A SQUAT grey building of only thirty-four stories. Over the main entrance the words, CENTRAL LONDON HATCHERY AND CONDITIONING CENTRE, and, in a shield, the World State's motto, COMMUNITY, IDENTITY, STABILITY.
